Told Ya So...Told Ya So...Told Ya...Told Ya...Told Ya So!

Remember all those folks who got their panties in a twist because a :::gasp::: Lesbian was running for mayor of Houston.

Hellfire and damnation were sure to rain down on the city, once that 'dyke' got into office and began spreadin' her radical homosexual agenda, and turning all the decent folks into criminals.

Yeah. Didn't happen.

Now, less than a year after Annise Parker, and openly gay woman, was elected mayor of Houston, a solid majority of Houstonians say she is doing a “good” or “excellent” job.

But....but....but....what about the hellfire and damnation?

Local television station, KHOU, spoke with Houston residents about the mayor’s job performance this year, and 14% rated Parker’s job performance as “excellent,” while 42% said she was doing a “good” job. Twenty-seven percent described her performance as “fair,” and a measly 6% said she was doing a “poor” job.

No hellfire.
No damnation.
No radical homosexual agenda--whatever that is.

Just a good hardworking mayor. What every town needs.

I'm shocked. Simply shocked. I thought for sure Houston would turn into a flannel shirt wearing, Subaru driving, earth shoe wearing, steak - eating, ho-down kind of town...Oh, wait...

  4. Everyone here LOVES Annise! She is honest, fiscally responsible, and fair. And she made today George Burch Day in the city of Houston!! For reals, check my blog! Gotta respect a mayor with the wisdom to do that!
