The Invisible Man With a Heart of Darkness

I stopped in at Mr Peenee's this morning to discover a thing called Book Quiz 2....I'd apparently missed Book Quiz 1.....and grieved for Mr Peenee, who had fallen from Lolita, after quiz one, to ::::gasp:::: Jane Eyre after quiz two. What a shock for him, and especially coming so early in the new year.

So I decided to take the Book Quiz 2, and this is what I got:

You're Heart of Darkness!
by Joseph Conrad
To you, life is a journey. You just didn't necessarily expect that
it would be into the abyss. Now that you're on your way into the deepest and darkest
part of humanity, you are doing your best to see the brighter side of something
you're not even sure you'll escape with your life. You do your best not to be racist,
but you pretty much fail, although people give you the benefit of the doubt given the
context of your life. Your favorite word is "horror" and your favorite ride
at Disneyland is the Jungle Cruise.

Take the Book Quiz II at the Blue Pyramid.

Who are you?

Oops, I take it back.....I found Quiz 1, took it, and according to that one I am:

You're Invisible Man!
by Ralph Ellison
Most of your life, people have either ignored you or told you that you
were wrong. You've been duped, mistreated, misled, and neglected. Maybe it was because
of your race, or some other uniqueness that people were quick to condemn, but now you
just want to crawl into a hole and disappear. After all, nobody knows your name. But
you just might speak for everyone.

Makes you kinda go Hmmmmmmmmm.

Wow - those are some heavy results, Bob. I took these quizzes and posted the results at my site - according to mine, 'I Love Lucy' had nothing on me.

I think universally the results of the two quizzes represent an epidemic of split personalities among us all. I liked Invisible Man and and would rather have sand rubbed in my private parts than read Heart of Darkness again.

I'm going to have to run over to Blue Pyramid and get my results. Thanks for the links Bob!
