I have said this before and no doubt I will say it again. Did you know that here in England a semi-polite word for a fart is a "trump"? Consequently in middle class homes children "trump" - they do not fart. Thus, we still snigger that your 45th president might just as easily have been called President Fart. He certainly behaved like a particularly smelly one and continues to do so.
Ted Cruz has purposely carved out a niche as the worst human being in politics. Mitch and Lindsey capitulate to decorum and good taste, but not Ted. He knows his audience. The more offensive and privileged he behaves, the bigger his bank account.
That cartoonists are wasting precious preaching space on Will Smith is a travesty. Let's just not say HIS name anymore. Celebs perish if we refuse to call attention to them. So, starve him out.
I do like that last one. I think Ronnie's beginning to understand that giving corporations tax breaks does not insure them kissing your ass. They just want the tax breaks... and to make lots of money.
I said the same thing to hubby about the 7 hour gap: more like a four year gap in the presidency.

My favorite part of the Luckovich cartoon is the food stains on Trump's shirt! The last one is especially good, I thought.
ReplyDeleteIf Thomas doesn't recuse himself, he should be removed.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the information provided by Yorkshire Pudding.
