  1. I had to look up Merrick Garland. It is sometimes said that the law catches flies and lets hornets go free. In addressing the Jan 6th assault on The US Capitol, Mr Garland would do well to examine the role of the chief rabble rouser - a well-known tax dodger who resides in Palm Beach, Florida. However, bringing this criminal to justice and ultimately jailing him could unleash a terrible backlash so I suspect that Mr Garland may back away from that scenario.

    What I find interesting is that most Americans think we should be told of the investigation every step of the way, but investigations don't work like that. it's hard getting people to talk, or gather information, if you're telling the country your every move.
    I kind of agree about the havoc that might be caused by jailing Thing 45, but I'd still like to see it, and the jailing of his children too.

  5. I like the Ukrainian Egg. I saw another General was killed on Friday which is another egg in Putin's basket.

    And Abbot's Border Inspection, another example of an authoritarian failure.

  8. GOP nose where it doesn't belong is right on...they want smaller government and government out of people's lives...except when they don't.

  10. @Dave
    I saw a meme that said the Russian ship that sank has now been commissioned as a submarine!

    @Deedles
    Don't say thespian.

    @Debra
    A Musk Twitter is no Twitter at all.

    @Frank
    The GOP only wants smaller government where it suits them, but it also wants to control everyone's lives.

    @TDM
    That one's kinda true, though.

  12. Well, Bob - I have to admit I'm always late to the Sunday Funnies you faithfully provide, but it's so early on Monday morning that I hope I get credit for being on time this week!
    A stellar collection, as always, so that it's hard to pick a favorite but Moscow Mitch a/k/a Saudi Supporter has once again risen to the top of my most despised list. No moral red line Trump could cross would cost him his support. Wow. I'm sure Mrs. McConnell is relieved. Jesus Cristo. That man is the Big Bad Wolf with not a stitch of sheep's clothing to cover his blatant bigotry, greed, duplicity in crimes against the country.
    How long, O Lord, how long.
