Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, admitted liar and fired former National Security Advisor for the twice-impeached, one-term loser, is denying he ever called for a violent Myanmar military-style coup in the United States despite numerous reports and video evidence that that is exactly what he said. In Dallas on Sunday, the QAnon loon told a crowd of QAnon loons that a deadly Myanmar-style coup “should happen here” in this country. CNN says Flynn "appeared to endorse Myanmar-style coup in the United States on Sunday." The Daily Beast said Flynn “told a QAnon conference this weekend that he supports a violent military coup in the U.S.” Newsweek says Flynn “said that a Myanmar-like military coup “should happen” in the U.S.” On the social media platform Telegram, an account allegedly belonging to Flynn posted this: “Let me be VERY CLEAR—There is NO reason whatsoever for any coup in America, and I do not and have not at any time called for any action of that sort. Any reporting of any other belief by me is a boldface fabrication based on twisted reporting at a lively panel at a conference of Patriotic Americans who love this country, just as I do. I am no stranger to media manipulating my words and therefore let me repeat my response to a question asked at the conference: There is no reason it (a coup) should happen here (in America).” But, as they say in sports circles, let’s go to the videotape: Could you hear that? An attendee at the Lunatic-a-Paloozer asked Mikey Flynn: “I want to know why what happened in Myanmar can’t happen here?” And the little lying loon said: “No reason. I mean, it should happen here.” He should be under arrest for sedition. |

ReplyDeleteHere's hoping he's called back into military service, thrown in front of a court martial, and dishonorably discharged. If being a traitor and fomenting a military coup aren't reasons enough, I don't know what is. He should be imprisoned instead of collecting a government/military pension.

What angers me most is this pattern of behavior that they have adopted. They lie, and even though it's on tape, they insist that they never said that. But there is proof that they lied. This is fucking with the minds of the great unwashed, and they only hear the dog whistle part. Not the walk back. That is a dangerous place to be.

But that's the QAnon way. They say something will happen on such and such a date and when that date passes and the event doesn't occur, they simply change the date.
You can't win with people who act that way because their brains are mush.
Talking outta both sides of his neck. I bet the CIA or the FBI sat him down and explained why he needed to change his tune... and so he did, but then he changed it back. You know sort of like Moscow Mitch in re: to the Biden Administration... all those Repugs... they're all very good at saying whatever they need to say so they can keep upping the hate.
