America Under Siege: Boycott _____ Supporters

We’re nearing two weeks since Hair Furor began his stampede over our rights, and the rights of women and immigrants, and we have seen millions marching against the Liar-In-Thief.

But what if you can’t march? What if you can’t get out and take that stand in the streets? How can you get your voice heard?

In the wallet of _____ supporters is a good way. And the website grabyourwallet.org has provided a list of every company that sells _____ merch, has donated to the _____ campaign, or has CEO’s that have publicly endorsed _____.

Here are a few ....

Amazon ...
... sells Trump brand shoes, clothing, and home furnishings. Stop buying from Amazon and tell them why.

Uber ...
... CEO Travis Kalanick is a member of Trump’s Economic & Policy Forum, which he says he took based on his “belief that by speaking up and engaging we can make a difference.” While NYC cab drivers were on strike to protest the Muslim Ban, Uber lowered its rates to make a bigger profit.
Its competitor Lyft, by contrast, has pledged to donate $1 million over the next four years to the American Civil Liberties Union.

Yuengling Beer ...
... CEO Richard Yuengling Jr publicly endorsed _____ during the election, telling Eric The Dumb, “Our guys are behind your father. We need him in here.”

MillerCoors ...
... Chairman Peter Coors hosted a top-dollar fundraiser for the ____ campaign, the cost of attendance priced at $10,000 per couple, with VIP tickets costing $50,000.

 Ultimate Fighting Championship ...
... President, Dana White, spoke during the Republican National Convention in support of Trump, calling him a “loyal friend.”

Hobby Lobby ...
... CEO David Green initially supported Marco Rubio during the Republican primary, saying Trump “scares me to death.” But he later endorsed Trump over Hillary because he was under the impression that “Clinton has made no secret she believes government interests supersede the protection of religious liberty.”
When a Mexican-American reported being discriminated against by a Hobby Lobby employee—who said, “Trump won the election, I don’t have to help you.”—she spoke with a manager who said, that there was “no proof that this interaction took place and that no action would be taken.” The Communications Director of Hobby Lobby has since said they would investigate these allegations, though no updates have been made public.

Elder Beerman ...
... currently sells Ivanka _____’s clothing line at its stores all over the country.

Walmart ...
... sells Ivanka _____ shoes, clothing, and fragrances at their stores; Walmart also gave $150,000 to _____’s inaugural committee and sponsored a ball celebrating the inauguration.

Sears ...
... sells _____ home furnishings and fragrances, as well as Ivanka’s shoes and clothing lines.

Zappos ...
... sells Ivanka _____’s shoes, clothing, and handbags. By contrast, Zappos’ competitor shoes.com removed Ivanka _____’s shoes from its inventory following mass boycotts, telling its customers that “your voices have been heard.”

Overstock.com ...
... founder Patrick Byrne was actually a Gary Johnson supporter, even bankrolling the pro-Johnson documentary, Rigged 2016, but his outlet continues to sell Ivanka _____ shoes and clothing.

If you’d like to see other _____-supporting companies, and get their contact information so you can voice your displeasure, head over to  grabyourwallet.org and tweet #grabyourwallet to announce your boycotts to these companies.

Resist.

  1. Thank you for this list! Walmart and Hobby Lobby were already on my "no buy" list, and since I work for Amazon ' s biggest book competitor I don't shop with them, either.

  2. I hear that Nordstrom has dropped the orange one's daughter's made in foreign parts clothing line.

I'd believe anything of Amazon who, not only sell Daddy Trumpelstiltskin's dross, but also don't pay taxes this side of the pond, despite the UK being one of their biggest markets in Europe

  3. We are the country's worst consumers, so we likely aren't buying from any of those on the list,(never go to Walmart) except maybe for Amazon; but we just canceled Amazon Prime. And Amazon does have my book for sale, not that I am actually selling any. So my point is, we can't really boycott what we don't buy to begin with. What about a LGBTQ+allies STRIKE. We can bring this all to a screeching halt!
