Casa Chinkara, located in a forest though very close to Guatemala City, was created as a kind of dual residence exploring the contrast between the primitive and the contemporary; the natural and the artificial; between the intimate and the external.
Casa Chinkara is more than a residence; it’s a work of art, created to house artwork, and, through expansive windows, to frame the outside forests into works of art.
