That's Our Nikki:She Wants To Be Governor Of The United States

Well, it seems like Nikki Haley has taken her act on the road.
The South Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate is talking international politics as she travels crosscountry to raise money.
You see, there aren't enough problems here in South Carolina for her to deal with if she's elected, so she's telling people what she'd do nationally.
Hey Nikki, think globally, act locally.
A group called named Indian American Friends of Nikki held a fundraiser earlier this month in Chicago. Chicago, South Carolina? No such place.
At that event Nikki Haley told the crowd that she favors a nuclear deal between India and the Unite States, and making India a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council.
Nikki Haley, who is campaigning on a platform of "transparency in government" said she was simply answering audience questions, but she wouldn't say what the questions were, or further explain her answer.
I'm seeing no transparency.
Nikki Haley: "They asked me a question and I gave them an answer. If you had been there, you would have understood the question. ... Now I'm in South Carolina and I answer South Carolina questions."
Uh huh. Well, answer the South Carolina question about what you were doing in Chicago raising money and talking about US relations with India.
:::crickets::::
Nikki says she only wanted to talk about her endorsement by the local branch of the National Federation of Independent Business, but then her campaign responded later in the day, saying: "All Nikki said was that India should be a permanent part of the UN Security Council and that the U.S. and India are natural allies and we should work to strengthen that friendship."

Many are speculating that Nikki Haley is already looking beyond the governor's mansion to higher political office. I am speculating that Nikki Haley, like a true Republican, cares less about her state and more about what she can get for herself.
Now, to be fair, statewide candidates fundraising outside South Carolina is nothing new, and it's not unusual for a national PACs to promote candidates it likes, but an out-of-state group forming for a specific candidate raises questions.
Winthrop University professor and poll director Scott Huffmon: "What makes it odd is not an Indian-American group supporting an Indian American, but that it's halfway across the country and [formed] specifically for Nikki Haley. That's what raises eyebrows."
Nikki Haley says the fact that she raises money out of state shows how popular she is....out of state.
Well, Nikki, if you're so popular out of state, then go there.
And again, in the interests of fairness, Haley's Democratic opponent, Vincent Sheheen, has had fundraisers in Washington, D.C., and Charlotte, N.C., but his spokesman, Trav Robertson says: "The clear difference between our fundraisers and hers is that ours were put on by those with a vested interest in South Carolina as well as South Carolinians participating."
Nikki Haley is wrong for South Carolina.
