I Didn't Say It

Arnold Schwarzenegger, former California governor, speaking to the Russian people and soldiers:

“Your lives, your limbs, and your futures are being sacrificed for a senseless war condemned by the entire world. So every bullet you shoot, you shoot a brother or a sister. Every bomb or every shell that falls is falling not on an enemy but on a school or hospital or a home.”

Stop. Speak up. End this.

Ans that goes for you America, too.

Madison Cawthorn, Nazi youth poster boy, admitting he is a traitorous mother f%ker in a newly unearthed video of his call to Charlie Kirk’s podcast during the Capitol riot:

“I’m safe. As you know I believe in the Second Amendment as well as a lot of other members, so we are armed. We are in a safe location. I can’t disclose where. You know obviously having the wheelchair I am able to carry many, multiple weapons at one time. So you know, everyone around me is armed.”

So, he helped get weapons into a federal building during an insurrection?

Why isn’t this son of a bitch in cuffs?

William Barr, former Attorney General, stood by the idiotic false comments he made before the 2020 election that mail voting was vulnerable to fraud:

“My view is that in such a closely divided country with so much at stake, we have to keep strong protections against fraud and protect the integrity of the election, and I think when they are diluted and reduced—which they were—then people are not going to have confidence in the election, whether or not fraud occurs.”

So, he denounced Thing 45’s assertions of voter fraud  but says there was voter fraud even though the only voter fraud uncovered has been on the GOP side with MAGAts casting votes for Barr’s old boss. Have I got that queer, Bill,  you lying POS?

PS Bill has a book to sell, so staying stupid shit is getting him all kinds of press.

Bob Chapek, Walt Disney Co. CEO, apologizing to employees at the company for the company’s handling of Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ and said Disney would be pausing political donations in the state:

“Thank you to all who have reached out to me sharing your pain, frustration and sadness over the company’s response to the Florida ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill. Speaking to you, reading your messages, and meeting with you have helped me better understand how painful our silence was. It is clear that this is not just an issue about a bill in Florida, but instead yet another challenge to basic human rights. You needed me to be a stronger ally in the fight for equal rights and I let you down. I am sorry.”

Now, maybe to stand up for the LGBTQ+ Americans, rather than ‘pause’ donations, howsabout stopping all donations, to politicians and instead give to groups who can fight bigotry and hatred in this country.

Herschel Walker, former football player, Thing 45 devotee, and GOP Senate candidate for Georgia, sounding the idiot alarm:

“At one time, science said man came from apes, did it not? If that is true, why are there still apes? Think about it.”

Okay, Herschel, let’s go back to the fifth grade when we learned that humans did not evolve from the apes that you see at the zoom, but that humans and apes have a common—and now extinct—ancestor that lived roughly 10 million years ago.

Georgia? Do you want another representative of your state as stupid as  Marge Greene?

Tom Rice, GOP Congressman from South Carolina, slamming Thing 45 … yes, a South Carolina Republican slamming Thing 45:

“[Thing 45] is here because, like no one else I’ve ever met, he is consumed by spite. I took one vote he didn’t like and now he’s chosen to support a yes man candidate who has and will bow to anything he says, no matter what. If you want a Congressman who supports political violence in Ukraine or in the United States Capitol, who supports party over country, who supports a would-be tyrant over the Constitution, and who makes decisions based solely on re-election, then Russell Fry is your candidate.”

Huh … what was that one vote Thing 45 didn’t like? Was it when Rice crossed party lines and stood up for America by voting to impeach him following the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol?

Yes, it was.

Good for Tom Rice.

Dolly Parton, country legend, turning down induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame:

“I really do not want votes to be split because of me, so I must respectfully bow out. I do hope that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will understand and be willing to consider me again—if I’m ever worthy. This has, however, inspired me to put out a hopefully great rock ‘n’ roll album at some point in the future, which I have always wanted to do! My husband is a total rock ‘n’ roll freak, and has always encouraged me to do one. I wish all of the nominees good luck and thank you again for the compliment. Rock on!”

Dolly should be given every single award and induction, no matter what it might be. But, when Dolly says ‘Count me out,’ count her out.

But … when the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame released their list of nominees, they said the “diverse list” reflected artists that had a “profound impact on the sound of youth culture” which explains the inclusion of Parton, and so the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame  will continue with voting and keep Dolly’s name on the list.

  1. Dolly is a class act.

Bravo to Schwarzenegger, though he's not as brave as that woman who stood behind the TV broadcaster in Russia with a STOP WAR poster. That was remarkable!

  2. Arnie's great!

Madison is handicapped in so, so many ways.

Hershel Walker is one of the reasons the RNC doesn't want debates.

    Rice will get re-elected.

Dolly's right. I do believe the R&R Hall of Fame has accepted her decision.

  3. So Disney Co couldn't figure out that Florida's "Don't Say Gay" Bill is "yet another challenge to basic human rights" until their employees mounted a large and public protest? Puh-leeze.

  4. Dolly is a wonderful human being and deserves every accolade she gets (and not just for her talent, but for her humanitarianism also)!

  5. I am not an Arnie S lover, but I was impressed both by his speech and his sincerity - very well done sir.

  6. Dolly Parton - a legend in her own time. As you suggest, she deserves every accolade going, She even paid for an early years reading scheme in the next steel town to us - Rotherham. If she had a meeting with Putin, the war in Ukraine would be over by teatime and Putin would come out singing, "I Will Always Love You", wearing nothing but a sequined cowboy hat.

  7. the r&r hall of fame needs to renamed. if you look at the list of members, it really isn't about rock and roll. it's about popular music and its impact.

  8. Dolly should be running the country. Sigh. Let's all be like Dolly.

Tom Rice... does one thing right. But he's still GOP and a good old white boy.

Walker is scary. But then, Georgia isn't the brightest state. Maybe it's changed... but you watch... they will go with a brand name. That's what the GOP is counting on.

Disney can rot. Until they start putting their money to better uses, F 'em.

Barr is an opportunist. Big surprise. He's also GOP - so hypocrisy and ignoring common sense comes quite naturally to him.

Agreed. Cawthorn should be in jail or at least charged with a crime. I hope his smug mug gets what he deservers.

    Thanks, Arnold. Nicely said.

And thank you, Bob. Great job, as usual.

  9. Gimpy Madison Cawthorn and his wheelchair can both rot to death and fall from the vine. Yet he goes free...only in America. And the people voting for him as just as bad and guilty.

    Sorry not sorry.

  11. I love me some Dolly...I even had her vaccine for COVID....But girl!! Put down the knife. You are nipped and tucked so tight if you sneeze your wig will pop off. And you can barely talk anymore. Surprize you can still sing.
