ReplyDeleteIt was; he'd been having health problems for a while but I thought he'd come through.
DeleteNice man.
Oh noooo.
ReplyDeleteSo sad! Jon was so much fun. Loved his stories and his optimism.
Running right now to leave a message. He will be missed.
Thanks, Bob. For posting this.
XOXO
Yeah, I got an Anonymous response to another post with the link to the obituary.
DeleteHe did have some good tales.
RIP

I’m sorry I didn’t get to know him. Wishing his friends and family nothing but fond memories.
ReplyDeleteHe was a sweetheart, to be sure.
DeleteIf you need a new blog, you might like Two Men and a Little Farm. They are in Texas, as well. Two gentlemen and a black cat named Hobart!
ReplyDeleteI may look that up! Thanks for the tip.
DeleteI adore them Marcia!!!!!
DeleteThanks. He was a funny, sarcastic, wonderful personality.
ReplyDeleteYes, he was all that!
DeleteSad news, but thank you for passing it along. He definitely had a particular outlook on life and wasn't shy about sharing it.
ReplyDeleteWill Jay
I didn't know him long but he left an impression to be sure.
DeleteThanks for the update. I had been wondering whether he was okay, and it looks like he was not.
ReplyDeleteHe was blogging just a couple of weeks ago and also posting to Facebook, but then he went silent and I, too, wondered if he was okay.
DeleteI like to think he's once again with Robert.
I was getting caught up and saw this and was sad to read the news. I feared something might be wrong. All he wanted was a new love....but at least he had one. I too was a new reader last year and loved his humor and stories. He wanted a drag mother and name, he got a kick out of leaning about drag....so I claimed him, and I gave him one.
ReplyDeleteHere's to the memory of Pat McCrotch!!!
I love that he got a drag name; I bet it made his day!
