… He’s using the man’s playbook.
Republican, and former football player, Herschel Walker’s
campaign deleted a false claim posted on a website promoting his Georgia U.S.
Senate bid.
The part deleted said Walker graduated from the University
of Georgia [UGA] “with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice” except that’s a
lie.
It’s a lie that has been heard everywhere, including in an
online biography advertising Walker’s book, at a campaign rally for his bid to
unseat Democratic U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, and even during his introduction
this year at a congressional hearing.
So, he knew about it, he heard it announced at a couple of
events, and he never once said, Oh wait, that’s not true? Did he forget that,
while he did attend UGA and he did study criminal justice he left school in his
junior year to play in the USFL my junior year.”
Oops. Liar, liar, run as a Republican. |
Perhaps next time I update my CV I'll mention my stint as a High Court judge - I wonder if that will convince anyone to give me a job? Or perhaps I could claim to be Bozo's eminence grise (actually not a good idea as everything he touches turns to dross).
ReplyDeleteThere are people who think that attending college is the same thing as graduating from college. Don't get me started.
ReplyDeleteI'm worried that Walker is a shoo-in for that Senate seat given his name recognition.
Just wait until he has to debate Warnock..., he will be soooo confused.
ReplyDeleteThe truth means nothing to Republicans. It's been demonstrated over and over and over again.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Debra!
DeleteOh joy! Another election on the
ReplyDeletehorizon.
xoxo :-)
The Thing 45 Cult Devotees are rather a predictable group, aren't they? Of coarse they know those inclined to Vote for them aren't inclined to check facts or be able to handle Truth... so, it works for them.
ReplyDeleteTruth in the Republican Party no longer exists. And Herschel Walker should take a long walk away from politics. There are already enough ignorant, hateful, liars onboard.
ReplyDeleteWow. Lying must be a prerequisite to be a member of THE PARTY. He and Madison Cawthorn have so much in common. I wonder if that sits well with former Nazi/KKK youth captain Cawthorn?
ReplyDeleteA Repug, lying!
ReplyDeleteShocking! Not.
That’s all they have: lies, racism, homophobia and xenophobia.
There’s no platform, just bigotry.
XOXO
