Funny as always. There is a lot to joke about. I enjoyed the What do you know about Mormons one, too! But Limbaugh lowering the bar is so dead on, too. Hard to pick a favorite out of so many.
Did you hear about Doonesbury's series of cartoons to run this week about abortion? Won't run in our paper. They have moved the strip around, over the years from the comics page to the editorial page and then, in a fit of timidity, to the classified page. But not this week (where it is now back to the comics page). This week it is not going to run.
The material is just handed to the cartoonists and comedians! They barely have to write it - but so glad they do! I like the one about Mormons, too, and now almost wish they'd stop by my house again. Once when they came by and asked to speak to the head of the house, I told them they were. That took them aback. Then they tried to say something to me about the Mormon Church, and I told them it didn't offer anything for women and especially me.
So true. And so sad that these are really funny.
ReplyDeleteI love the one about the Mormons!

ReplyDeleteThe question is... what will next week bring?!

ReplyDeleteI love the look of Lincoln on the Party of Lincoln comic. Priceless!
