Gilles Rocca, Italian actor and reality show star, on developing
his feminine side based on the strong women that reared him:
“The alpha male? I almost feel more like a woman than a man.
I have a predominantly feminine side. Yes, my aesthetic is very masculine, but
inside it’s different. Perhaps having had a very strong upbringing from my
mother, I learned a lot. My mother’s upbringing made me understand how
important it is to bring out my feminine side. I was very male up to a certain
point in my life, where I didn’t show my weaknesses, where I wanted to show
that I was the muscular one, the strong one, but in reality I was hiding so
many weaknesses that over the years I’ve managed to bring out, not fight them,
but embrace them. If I were to be attracted to a man, there wouldn’t be any
problems,” Rocca shared. “Would I give myself to a man? Well, if I liked a man,
yes, absolutely, I’d accept his advances; I wouldn’t have any problems. I like
women. But I’m absolutely open; in fact, I don’t even think it’s a question of
openness, but rather that it’s a natural thing; that is, respecting your
instincts, what you like, what you feel. I saw even more closely a world of
passion, talent, suffering, and love … In such a horrible world we live in, we
still need to assert our rights, and if we take these rights away from someone
else, we don’t complain when they take them away from us. Love has no gender or
race… love is just love.”
Those last four words just say it all: love is just love.
And wherever you find it, in whomever you find it, it’s not
wrong.

Looking forward, we know we are going to hear the failing defense of "I was only following orders" those that gave the orders will have no excuse.
ReplyDeleteAnd anyone who says that KNOWS they are guilty.

ReplyDeleteHooter and the Otter,
๐ฆ๐ฆฆ Hi! Hooter and the Otter! I'm ready to hear more from you! Bob speaks and lets us speak and we all get smarter together! ๐ฅฐ
DeleteThanks for following reading sharing and commenting.
DeleteI really appreciate it.
Tim Walz said it best, it is the White House that is the current problem. IQ45 is leading a pack of idiots and it shows.
ReplyDeleteAnd he listens to the idiots ...
DeleteCongrats on 18 years of blogging ... not sure how long I've been reading you, but it has been a while now! Saturday is my favorite ... always good for a few laughs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marcia!
Delete๐๐ Yah! Gilles Rocca! We all are both male and female. If we recognize our innate androgyny, we let our full selves be known and we are more interesting friends!
ReplyDelete๐๐ Yah! Josh Stein! See it; say it; fight it!
And I'll bet that Puppy-killer Noem thinks it's hilarious that they are calling this "Operation Charlotte's Web!" Nobody who has read the book or seen TV and movie productions of the story thinks it's funny! E. B. White's granddaughter sure doesn't and neither do opinion writers! * ๐คฌ
๐๐ Yah! Beto! He worked hard for his El Paso constituents (like me!)! He works hard for Texans and everybody else! If he throws his hat into the upcoming Dem primary for US Senate, I think he'll win. Much stronger voice than Allred or Talarico. Best chance to beat that disgusting Beast, TX AG Ken "Trump-licker" Paxton! ๐น๐ฉ

We need people to speak out, about the regime, about the LGBTQ+ community, gender, gender identity, and love
DeleteGreat set of quotations this morning!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debra!
DeleteTo think that Americans decided to have JD Vance over Tim Walz. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteWell Texas chose that maniac in a wheelchair over Beto, so there's that.
And that description of Piggy? Perfect. There's trouble when Lady G seems more masculine than the president.
XOXO
the dog's mother
ReplyDeletexoxo :-)
We all know politics is a dirty business, a dog eat dog pursuit, but democracy is being defiled, and the White House should be painted black.
ReplyDeleteYou're right; plastic Barbie is a liar. So much so, I'm surprised that her crucifix doesn't melt on her plastic chest.
ReplyDeleteAnd they’ll get away with their treason as Trump will give all of them a pardon and pardon himself. The Gang of Six at the un-Supreme Court placed Trump above the law and here we are.
