Maxwell Barrett just graduated from Raritan High School in Hazlet, New Jersey and he wanted to make a mark, so to speak, in the yearbook.
"I wanted to go out with a bang. I had never done sports, or clubs. I was always just an art student. I wanted to go out in a way people would remember me by!" — Max Barrett
Now, Maxwell is gay, openly gay, though he said he’s never “officially” told his parent, but that they always knew. Still … he took that whole coming out thing, and with a quote he found, and rephrased to suit his needs, he’s out now:
And so what did his parents think of his quote?
"They said it was the best one in the yearbook and that they were proud of me."
Welcome out, Maxwell, and, by the way, you do look fabulous!

ReplyDeleteAnd good for the school for letting him put it in.
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! Handsome and witty is going to be a lethal combination. Couldn't agree more with TDM.
ReplyDeleteI love this guy! That yearbook is a definite keeper... unlike mine.
