  2. Love the recap... I didn't watch it, now I'm in the know! ;-)

  3. It seemed slow and disjointed like it couldn't find its rhythm. There were some good parts I really liked and some that were ho-hum. Surprise wins and loses. Good stream-of-consciousness recap! Been looking forward to it and knowing how you felt about Michael Douglas's remarks.

  4. As much as I love, love, LOVE NPH, I thought this was the worst Emmys broadcast in a long time.

    Award-Death-Award-Death-Award-Death-Award-Death-Dance-Award-Death-Award ...

I was really pleased that Michael Douglas won the Best Actor Emmy because I really believe his performance was Oscar worthy.

And I love, love, LOVE NPH.

  5. I was generally pleased with who won in each category. I was disappointed in the way they used NPH. Perhaps just didn't want to complete with this year's Tonys where he was "legendary". I hated the singled-out in memorium pieces. I was a good idea but most of them ended awkwardly and who thought it was a good idea to exclude any clips of the work for which they were famous.
