Why Is It ...

… that people don’t realize that I am actually kind of funny  and loving once you get past the 19 walls I put up.

… that when my boss told me I was all out of vacations days, I told him to sign me up for maternity leave.

… that y’all need to know that I have tried shutting up and found that it wasn’t for me.

… that people don’t understand that they shouldn’t send me mixed signals. I never even get the direct ones.

… that many times I get road rage walking behind people in grocery stores.

… that as I grow older I realize that stretching is not an option. I need to remove my spine and wring it out like a damp towel.

… that today, while I’m choosing kindness, y’all need to remember that it’s still early.

… that, while I am not bragging, I will share that my posts are enjoyed by well over three people worldwide.

… that after venting I sometimes sit back and think, “I should have kept that to myself.”

… that I am not built for anybody who’s soft. I’m mean, I talk back, I don’t listen and sarcasm is my first language.

  1. Road rage in a grocery store! Those people slowly strolling through the canned goods section trying to decide if they want to buy generic, some obscure brand, or brand name canned carrots, and then stopping to compare cans, leaving their cart in the middle of the aisle.

  2. Wringing out one's spine sounds a good idea, and road rage in a supermarket I can well understand.

🛒🏃‍♀️ The grocery store is fun if you treat as an obstacle course. I get to improve my body and my mind as I find ways to move quickly and efficiently through the minefield of both slow movers and road ragers who push carts around aggressively! My favorite exercise is at the finish line...the cart corral! I love the physical release of straightening the carts that others have left in a mush near the corral and then pushing a dozen or more all the way to the end of the chute!! Then I do my "Rocky at the top of the steps dance" 💪 and head home energized instead of angry or tired! 😃

  8. My worst road rage is in grocery stores. If you don’t get your maternity leave, sue!

  12. I agree with Steve, pretty darn sure you have more than 3 readers. I wouldn't miss Saturday for anything....though I may be late arriving today.

  14. I know what you mean about road rage in supermarkets. One day I am going to ram my trolley into one of those m****er****ers!

  15. I'm older and stretching is still definitely an option. I get supermarket aisle rage when more than two aisles are blocked by women with trolleys having their weekly catch up chats.

I have road rage at the supermarket, I just bang my cart into the ,offending cart and say oops, I am such a bad driver, sorry. For my mental health I have started to shop at seven in the morning when no one is there. Gigi
