Exactly. I don't have a Twatter account, but as someone who worked in civil engineering for some years, OH, how I wanted to reply to Musk - pretty much the same way KentuckyFried did. Gosh, somebody tell us again how smart Musk is because of the businesses he built - I mean BOUGHT.
I can see how it can be read that way, but I read it as blaming the pencil is as stupid as blaming the gun, and since people have such ready access to as many guns as they like ... Still, should we initiate Pencil Control, too?
That Musk meme is priceless. He's right, they could use the steel from the bridge, the same way they used the steel from the USS Constellation (the ship I was on in the Navy) to make razor blades, which is why most old ships are sunk to create artificial reefs.
Like anybody needs construction advice from a guy whose products fail so often! Musk's ilk have spent time claiming DEI brought down the bridge and mostly mean "the drug-addled diversity hires" on the ship...'cause that's what assholes always claim! But, MAGAts have not spent much time talking about the working men who went into the water when the tragedy occurred. Maybe because they don't care about humans who started life south of the US border, but also because these men don't fit their narrative of shiftless, lazy criminals who come here to rape and freeload! As Will Bunch (Philadelphia Inquirer) and Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) have reported, these men came to the US, raised families and worked several jobs each day. That night, they were doing difficult, backbreaking work to help their neighbors have smoother commutes going to their workplaces the next day. And, when they died, they "died as Americans." Near the bridge, there is now a memorial to those men...6 crosses with hard hats and safety vests surrounded by flags of their nations of origin. 🇺🇸✊😥
It's the "blame anything and everything except the real thing" even when you have no proof. And if they were Latino does that mean they deserved to die? The lunacy is real.
It is a bit strange that there is no physical evidence of biblical times. Where is the cradle for Jesus? Archaeologists must keep digging. The frankincense and myrrh may have dissolved, but where is the gold.?
Exactly.

Elon Musk is a spoiled rich boy who never did anything except buy companies.
DeleteThe Book of Moron!
ReplyDeleteIt's a short book, really more of a pamphlet!
DeleteLove!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the one about Repugs never questioning the election THEY won when Uncle Joe won the White House. Love it.
XOXO
That bit of 2020 hypocrisy is hilarious; if GOP wins everything was legal, but if Democrats win, cheaters!

Isn't the gun one actually anti-gun control? "Guns don't kill people, people kill people" -- that kind of thing. That's how I read it, anyway.
ReplyDeleteI love the takedown of Elon Musk!
I can see how it can be read that way, but I read it as blaming the pencil is as stupid as blaming the gun, and since people have such ready access to as many guns as they like ...

I guess that's what makes it a skillful meme -- it's funny and it works for both sides! LOL
DeleteSadly, the first one requires the "vessel" (women) to accept the depositor's (men) donation!
ReplyDeleteThis is a disturbing collection this morning!
I see it as why let men tell you what to do with your body when their own bodies cannot do what they wish to control.

ReplyDeleteMusk is an ass, through and through.
Deletethe dog's mother
ReplyDeletePencil failed the math test!
I might had that pencil once...
xoxo :-)
I think we all had that pencil.

I don't know why but the dinosaur and biblical meme had me roaring. And it's so true!
ReplyDeleteBecause truth is high-larious!
DeleteI especially appreciate the first one. But there are many among these that resonate with me.
ReplyDeleteThoughts are provoked!
DeleteThank you! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!

You can't say Hatred without a red hat, I never noticed that before. Book of Moron, hah!
ReplyDeleteTruth is funny.
DeleteThe "RED HAT"/"HATRED" one is so clever and yet so simple too. By the way, "DAMP OLD RUNT" is an anagram of someone you prefer not to name.
ReplyDeleteI like your anagram, too!
DeleteI may use it.
The Book of Morons got a snicker out of me.
ReplyDeleteIt's a big book.
