good luck carlos! tuxedo, hide all the knives from daddy bob. consuelo, hide all the scissors from daddy bob. ozzo, nurse papi carlos back to his cheerful self.
Speaking as someone who's just come back from the (near) dead, I wish the best for both of you. Well wishes and hugs. Sorry for the Hallmarkiness, but my sense of humor hasn't quite made it back from the beyond. Have you found someone to vacuum?
My thoughts are with both of you (NOT the other as I don't!). Very much hope your next posting will be to say it went as fine as could be hoped - or even better. Genuine best wishes.
WE know Carlos...Hang on it's going to be a rough few days...I hope you have his bedside table stocked with all things to keep him calm...You do have a bell that he can ring when assistance is needed...The yelling-"I am dying"-will get old after the second go-round...Speedy recovery...Make sure he is up and Adam after a couple of days resting...Walking around the house, to the end of the driveway...Don't overdo it but to the point of discomfort..Trust me, I know...I worked on a surgical floor for two years...I had two hernia repairs...Years apart...Oh yea, careful with the pain meds...Drink plenty of fluids...May need a stool softner...Pains meds have a tendency to inhibit one's bowels...I have a high threshold of pain and only used Tylenol #3 at night so get a restful sleep...Good Luck...I know stories will follow...
(Bob and Carlos)
