One of my two latest arrivals (who left wherever they lived, probably together since arriving on the same day to come and reside with me - without even asking first!) is Bobby, also a b & w tom with white on underside. He has the same habit as your Tux of sleeping on his back, though in his case since he also has a large tummy (dunno why) is probably a preferred comfortable position. I have to exercise great restraint not to tickle him when he does it, the main excuse to refrain being the likelihood of getting a vicious and deep scratch or two. It is entertaining to see them sleeping so, though.
Our vet said that in males a large stomach is the sign of a cat having been given the cut too early. Within reason, the later the cut the less likely the cat is to have a dropped stomach

PS pics have now come up and yes, Max lounges about just like Tuxedo (although Tuxedo looks more like Wolfgang von Lashbrook).
