The election is coming... they know it's not going to be good, that's why they're trying to push through as many conservative judges as possible. They want friendly faces in the courtroom when they go to trial.
I see the Truthful Turtle is quite happy to elect judges to SCOTUS in the Sumo-Wrestler in Chief's last year, unlike his refusal to even contemplate Merrick Garland
