Thank you all for your kind words; Carlos—and I—really appreciate them.
When we came home from that last Foundation Fighting Blindness meeting, I asked Carlos if I could blog about it and he instantly said ‘Yes,’ because he hopes that it will help someone, anyone, with eye issues to know they aren’t alone and it’s something that they can get through, and that there are all kinds of resources out there for them.
And a special shout-out to JP—itsmyhusbandandme—for sharing his story, too. That’s exactly what Carlos and I hoped would happen; more people sharing and more people aware. Knowledge is power.
As I said, we’ll get through this, with some fights and some snark and some laughter, because that’s what you do.
Still, thanks for all your lovely, and welcome, thoughts.
PS Oh, Mitchell, Carlos lost control a long time ago over me and the embarrassing stories; there will be plenty more of those.

:-) xoxoxox to you both and all of Bob Followers!
ReplyDeletethe more knowledge we share, the less ignorant we become. (excluding donald dump's dumptards, of course)
ReplyDeletehave a good weekend, boyz in smallville!
You are both welcome!!! And it later occurred to me Bob, that Carlos may get some relief. When you guys are doing a DIY project, or assembling something, Carlos can sit back and relax with a cold one, and not get any snark, like as in "Did you read the instructions first?"

ReplyDeleteDon't give him any ideas!
Give another hug to Carlos from me for being such a good sport and get one back for yourself because... well, what the hell... you're a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteI want your situation always to be in my mind's background when I read your posts, Bob. I think that it will be so.
ReplyDeleteHugs and cuddles.
