You often refer to work in this regular weekly feature but I have no idea what you do for a living. Are you The Mayor of Camden... or perhaps an architect - with the clue there being your Wednesday blogposts? Perhaps you should order a T-shirt with "BOB THE MYSTERY MAN" on the front.
ReplyDeleteI'm not the mayor but I know, and have worked with, the mayor, as has Carlos ...
DeleteI worked for a guy one time who said we could call in, his words, "mentally ill" on a day when we just didn't feel like coming to work. He had a background in mental health.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of taking a "mental health day" has come to Camden but many people take several at a time.
DeleteI always get a kick out of these, Bob.
ReplyDeletePerfect, I like them, too!
Delete🤩 You are an f'ing delight! If anyone questions that, they are what's wrong in the world! 😠
ReplyDelete🤣 So there!! 🤣
And as I often remind people, "I am high-larious, too!"
Delete“… that the other day Carlos turned to me and said, ‘I was talking to you and you yawned six times. Am I boring you?” And I said, ‘Those weren’t yawns, they were six unsuccessful attempts to speak.’” Oh, you’re wicked. And a fucking delight.
ReplyDeleteEvil and delightful, a rare combination!! 👿 😁
Deletethe dog's mother
ReplyDeletexoxo :-)
I'll have to try the yawn thing on my daughter...
ReplyDeleteI suspect there are a number of us here who like you. Especially your ability to speak what we're thinking. God, I wish I'd stayed more hydrated at work.
Or maybe I just don't have that filtering speech gene????
Deletepeople really need to learn that it's important to shut up in general, not just in the morning.
ReplyDeleteLess talking works for me.
DeleteI'm waiting for morals and intelligence to come back into fashion, too.
ReplyDeleteThrow in common sense, too!
DeleteMorals and intelligence!
