I Didn't Say It ...

Jean Smart, on the red carpet for the 2026 Golden Globes, about America this year:

“Everything’s kind of, a little bit overshadowed, with what's going on in our country. I feel like we’re kind of at a turning point in this country, and I hope people can keep their heads, because that’s actually, really, the hardest thing, I think, is to keep our heads. It’s going to take a lot of courage and a lot of restraint, but I think that’s important. I feel like there are certain entities that would like us to fight back and possibly… I don’t know, it’s very concerning.  I know that there are people who find it annoying when actors take opportunities like this to talk about social and political things. But I'm not here right now speaking as an actress, I'm just speaking as a citizen and a mom, and I hope people understand that. I’m not as optimistic about things these days, about the world these days, but I just hope the people realize how important what’s going on is right now … this is kind of a moment of reckoning, I think, in this country. And I just hope that people do the right thing, and I think almost everybody knows in their hearts what is the right thing. [I don’t] feel like my opinion matters more than anybody’s [but] I feel like if you feel strongly about something, and you have the chance to share your feelings or encourage people or cheer somebody on, you should do it … Let’s all do the right thing, and I think everybody in their hearts knows what the right thing is to do. So let’s do the right thing."

Could it be more simple: do the right thing.

Don’t shoot people in the face; don’t grab up,  detain or deport American citizens; don’t blindly follow orders from criminals.

Do. The. Right. Thing.

Jacob Frey, Minneapolis Democrat mayor, on the GOP ignoring the shooting in his city while taking him to task for his profanity:

“I’m so sorry if I offended their Disney princess ears, but here’s the thing: if we’re talking about what’s inflammatory, on one hand you got someone who dropped an f-bomb and on the other you have someone who killed someone else.”

Fuck off is one thing; calling a woman you just shot in the face a "fucking bitch" is quite another.

David Frum, Canadian-American political commentator, on the shooting of Renee Good and Kristi Noem’s responsibility for it:

“In retrospect, probably a mistake to pout the safety of the American people in the charge of a woman who would personally kill her own dog, boast about it, then lie about it.”

Concise, yet cogent.

Tim Miller, political commentator, writer and former political consultant, of the lies from the regime over the murder of Renee Nicole Good:

“I will not be fucking gaslit by these people. I will not tone down the rhetoric. Jonathan Ross murdered her. She talked to him calmly, said ‘Dude, I’m not mad.’ This is fucking insane. This is not a tough call. He orphaned her child and called her a ‘fucking bitch’ after he killed her. Do not let [Cankles] and JD Vance and Kristi Noem and these thugs try to convince you this is anything other than murder.”

Do not listen to them.

Renee wasn’t an agitator; Renee was leaving the scene; Renee was turning her vehicle away from Jonathan Ross when he fired three shots into her car, two of those threw her driver’s door window; he was not in danger, he was a tiny little man given a modicum of authority and took it to the wrong place.

He is a murderer..

Seth Magaziner, Democrat representative for Rhode Island, on Kristi Noem trying to justify murder:

“Kristi Noem’s an idiot, right? Like, she went on TV before any of the facts were in. She made up this story on TV about ICE agents trying to dig their truck out of the snow or something, which was clearly false. Like she didn’t even realize that there was gonna be video of what happened when she went up and gave a false story. Everybody in the [Cankles Regime] lies, but she’s not even good at the lie, right? And we’ve seen that over and over again. So, you know, it would be ridiculous, it would be funny if it wasn’t so sad and tragic because actual people’s lives are being ruined and in some cases ended by the lawlessness of the administration. And, again, like, if they had just done what they said they would do and just focus on people with serious criminal records, no one would be complaining, but they can’t help themselves.”

When you give anyone with no soul, no heart, no conscience any kind of power you end up putting innocent people behind bars; you end up murdering innocent people.

Kristi Noem, Cankles, JD Vance and Jonathan are all complicit in the cold blooded murder of Renee Good.

Zohran Mamdani, NYC Mayor, taking on the DogKiller and CitizenKiller and how he’s calling it a murder:

“That was the conclusion I came to just in watching that video and I think that many Americans came to that same conclusion. That ICE agent murdered a woman in Minneapolis.  If that is following his training, then I think there are larger questions about the training that’s being provided to ICE agents. A 37-year-old woman was killed by an ICE agent. She leaves behind children. She leaves behind her family. She leaves behind an entire community in the city that will mourn her. And this is something that was entirely preventable. What many New Yorkers woke up with feeling today was a heightened sense of anxiety and fear as to whether they were safe in leaving their homes.”

Ross trained for a few hours before he was armed and sent into the streets; ill-equipped and unprepared for any situation.

He’s a murderer.

  2. It WAS murder.
But DogKiller will try to gaslight the country to not trust its own eyes. By the time something comes out of this, a year or more will have passed and even more egregious things will be added to the list…
    Ugh.

  3. The Washington Post used to proclaim that Democracy dies in darkness. They are wrong; it is dying in the full glare of the spotlights.

  5. This administration has a problem in that everybody has a phone, and thereby everyone has a camera. No matter how much they lie there are multiple copies of the truth they simply cannot control. No matter how much they try, Fox Entertainment can only coordinate their lies to an increasingly smaller group of people.

  7. It keeps getting worse. May we all always remember Renee Good. Such a shame this is why so many of us know her name. Shame on every member of the government who stands by. The lies have become acceptable in that tragically misled country.
