… that the other day I stared at the screen

boss say, “This is a zoom meeting.” Still, I wasn't exactly wrong.
… that when someone yells
stop, I don’t know if it’s “in the name of love,” or if it’s “Hammer time,” or
if I need to “smell the roses.”
… that sometimes a yawn is so good you just gotta scream at
the end.

Good LOLs but holy moly, the "new U.S. flag" on your blog banner . . . chilling.
ReplyDeleteI saw that yesterday and, sadly, it seems fitting.
DeleteAgreeing with you and Debra on the new banner! I love it, but only in the sense of its brilliance👏...so I don't love love it! 🥺 Same way I love/don't love that the Orange Badger 🦡 has finally admitted he hates me, he hates all Dems, he HATES US because we hate our country!! Well, sir, I proudly accept your hate 🫡✊️, but I don't hate my country. I hate YOUR COUNTRY!! 🤬 I still love the USA! 🇺🇸 Trump oughta visit it sometime...I volunteer to be his guide! 🇺🇸
DeleteAnd he said he hates Democrats during an ALLEGED bipartisan speech
DeleteI wouldn't know T-Swift if I sat next to her on a plane, I talked with a US Senator for 90 minutes one morning, and never did recognize him.
ReplyDeleteI might know her and so I'd change seats.

That is so true about the weather app!
ReplyDeleteI do find it far more accurate than our so-called weather people.
DeleteSTOP the world; I want to get off.
ReplyDeleteYour new banner is heartbreakingly true. Yeah, I check the weather app throughout the day. I have the added responsibility of checking for SG and converting from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
I saw it on Facebook and thought it perfect for the times.
Delete🥱🥱😱 Wait, what? It's possible to yawn without the delicious primal screaming? I. Did. Not. Know. That.! 🤪
ReplyDeleteIt's not possible for me, but then I cream on the regular.
DeleteThe correct answer is always: "STOP! In the name of love..."
ReplyDeleteBonus points +5 if you can't read it without doing the hand motions at the same time; +10 if you complete the line of the song and keep on singing.

DeleteI'm with you on Taylor Swift. I just don't get the appeal.
ReplyDeleteThe weather app is definitely a middle aged app, but when you are truly old you download Merlin (an app that identifies the bird song.).
No offense, but if I ever download an app to identify a bird song, please have me committed! 😁😁😁
DeleteLooking back through all of your "Why Is It" posts Bob, your list of foibles is so enormous that I sometimes wonder how you ever managed to secure lawful employment!
ReplyDeleteWho said it was lawful?
DeleteI think I said it was awful ....
Your new header shocks the senses in how it so accurately visualizes what things have come to under the current regime.
ReplyDeleteIt does, right? Sadly.
DeleteI love my cat enough to allow her to sleep on or in the bed, but there's no way I'd let her take out a loan!
ReplyDeleteWell, then I guess I love my cats more ... 😏😏😏
