Her Majesty, by convention, always acquiesces to political advice which, in this case, naturally came directly from P.M. Mrs May. Whether the latter ought to have 'offered' that advice in the first place is another question. She still could have excused herself by pleading being 'indisposed', of course - and left Charles to meet him, someone who is famously hostile to Trump, particularly on the subject of climate change. That would have been a good meeting to have been recorded and transmitted.
Apparently the Dumpster turned up LATE for his meeting with the queen and I fully agree with Raybeard's comments about T May's culpability in inviting him in the first place
17 minutes to long in my book.
ReplyDeleteAnd a smile.
ReplyDelete17 minutes, huh? That's 16 more than __ gives Melanie. I really need to get my mind out of this naughty zone.
ReplyDeleteMy question has been from the start: why did she ever agree to meet with him at all?

ReplyDeleteRaybeard, I was really hoping that it would be Charles that met with him!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt the Queen said, "oh... Donald, have you seen the big balloon? The likeness is amazing."
