What's wrong, you say? Tom Cruise looks tall. But, see, Tommy caps out at 5-foot-7. And, um, Cameron Diaz caps out at 5-foot-9. But, she's wearing four-inch heels. And she and Tommy are nearly eye-to-eye. Someone got new lifts.
Actually went out to google and learned about shoe lifts - always wondered how they worked. Drove my mother nuts trying on every sandal in Portland, Oregon, looking for one that would not make me taller than high school BF for prom. She was so glad when she met The Engineer and he was 6 ft tall.
4" heels don't necessarily add that much height but looking at Tom Cruise's shoes he's definitely got lifts in those shoes. I'm guessing 2 1/2 or even 3". I bet those shoes are like wedges.
So when Tommy gets older he will have stretch marks on his shins! And maybe some other places as well.
