Liar Liar

So this is Representative Michelle Bachman, Repugnant from Minnesota, on Fox Business yesterday saying she would like a "no pork bill" passed.

Oddly enough, LiarLiar Bachman also said that she had signed an "anti-pork" pledge.

Listen to what she says: "I think it is possible. I took a pledge in my own district. I have not taken earmarks in the last three years that I have been in Congress because the system is so corrupt. It’s possible to make that pledge."

Uh, sweety? You took earmarks just last year.

LiarLiar Bachman has requested 7 earmarks in Fiscal Year 2008 costing tax payers a total of $3,767,600. She asked for $94,000 for Sheriffs Youth Programs; $335,000 for Equipment Acquisition for Northland Medical Center, and $803,000 for Replacement Small Buses, St. Cloud Metro Bus.

LiarLiar Bachmann did, in fact, sign the Club for Growth’s ‘No Earmark’ pledge back in 2008. Bachman, who apparently has no knowledge of YouTube and Google, did not realize that her lies will come back to bite her in the ass.

Even more strange, LiarLiar Bachmann’s name is absent from the list of lawmakers making the same pledge for 2009.
