Thanks for going to the trouble of gathering and sharing these powerful cartoons Bob. It seems hard to believe that after encouraging an insurrectionist mob to invade The US Capitol, The Orange Monster will, tomorrow, be made the 47th president within its hallowed walls.
Jack Smith as Superman! There will be no watching the Orange Lump's inauguration tomorrow! Listening to the Talking Heads afterwards will be more than enough! I hope more folks tune out!!
🫡 Thank you for your service, Bob, in bringing us the cartoonists who "stand with Ann" Telnaes, censored by The Washington Post. I also want offer kudos to the editorial boards that keeping publishing truth to power (Atlanta Journal Constitution, Chattanooga Times Free Press, etc.). Special praise to JD Crowe for "Premature Capitulation," which most directly hits back. And to the Alabama Media Group for supporting Crowe. Its president, Natalie Pruitt, will not soon be invited to Trump events! ✊️
I won't be watching tomorrow, and how sad the day has to be on Martin Luther King Day, who they have in the past pissed all over... but I know many will have to be laughing and snickering when he gets sworn in! That cartoon is so true. And yet again his spinless base fell for him hook, line ,and stinker.
An excellent collection of en pointe political cartoons, Bob! I gotta go with fellow Canuck and my favourite cartoonist, de Adder, for the win though, LOL!
I don't get what Musk is doing in that cartoon. Is he bestowing a holy blessing on that Big Mac Meal? I wouldn't be eating it after he'd had his hands on it.
The 2026 election cycle has already started, hold them responsible for every deprivation.
ReplyDeleteI just hope Democrats learn from TWICE allowing this Felon into office and get off their asses and vote.

ReplyDeleteIt is telling that The Felon will be inaugurated where his mob defiled the Capitol four years ago.
DeleteMusk isn't going to raise his hand, he's just going to take the book, saying "I bought this."
ReplyDeleteHopefully he's seated in the back.
DeleteThere is surely a sick feeling in the stomach of every non-Trump supporting American.
ReplyDeleteI won't be watching any of it, before during or after.
DeleteThe Trumpster!
ReplyDeleteSadly, true.
DeleteJack Smith as Superman!

I won't even listen to the complicit news media afterwards.
DeleteR to the fourth power! The trumpster fire!
ReplyDeleteI only hope he'll be as ineffective a leader as he was the last time, but doesn't let 100s of 1000s of people die on his watch.
DeleteAnother prick in the wall.
ReplyDeletePerfectly well said , sir!
Delete"Post-op" is pretty, um, pointed.
ReplyDeleteI like how the cartoonists stood up for Telnaes in their own style, and that one is a good one.

ReplyDeleteI read that everyone should turn on their TVs because what you watch can be tracked, but set it to watch HGTV, or Bravo or anything but news.
DeleteDrag Race Marathon!
DeleteThat would be perfect!
DeleteDemocracy dies in darkness, the Washington Post use to herald that statement on their newspaper.
ReplyDeleteNow the Washington Post has died in darkness :(

WaPo is a shadow of its former self thanks to Bezos.
DeleteTomorrow will be a sad day, not only in the USA but around the world. (Well, maybe Putin will be excited)
ReplyDeleteI think the Cult will be excited because they still believe he's giving them cheeap eggs.
DeleteAn excellent collection of en pointe political cartoons, Bob! I gotta go with fellow Canuck and my favourite cartoonist, de Adder, for the win though, LOL!
ReplyDeleteMichael de Adder has long been one of my favorite cartoonists.
DeleteA better Dickens is to remind us the children of man under the Robe of Christmas Present.

ReplyDeleteToday, freedom has died in America
