A few weeks ago Carlos' mother tripped over one of the family dogs and requires surgery on her shoulder. Last week my father tripped over his dog and requires surgery on his humerus bone--there's nothing funny about that. So I am on my way to Oregon to get my dad to the hospital and get his arm fixed. I will be gone at least ten days and, of course, blogging will probably be non-existent or sporadic during that time. Talk soon, and if you'd like, send some positive thoughts to our respective parents. Thanks. |

Travel safe!! Speedy recovery to the parents!! I tell you it is a pain getting older. In times past it would be a quick roll on the floor and popping right back up and going about your day. Now we have to take inventory before we get up. If we can.

When it rains, Bob, right? I'm so sorry to hear about these emergencies with your dad and Carlos's mom. It's hard to keep our balance when those around us are losing theirs. Bless your hearts.
