I Didn't Say It ...

Alex Padilla, California Democrat Senator, speaking in the Senate about being taken out of that Border Barbie press conference:

"I was physically and aggressively forced out of the room, even as I repeatedly announced I was a United States senator and I had a question for the secretary. And even as the National Guardsman and the FBI agent who served as my escorts and brought me into that press briefing room stood by silently, knowing full well who I was. You've seen the video. I was pushed and pulled, struggled to maintain my balance. I was forced to the ground. First, on my knees. And then, flat on my chest. And as I was handcuffed and marched down the hallway repeatedly asking, 'Why am I being detained?' Not once did they tell me why. I pray you never have a moment like this, but I will tell you in that moment a lot of questions came to my mind. First of all, where are they taking me? Because I know I'm not just being escorted out of the building. Am I being arrested here? And, ‘What will a city already on edge from being militarized think when they see their United States senator handcuffed just for trying to ask a question?’"

Padilla witnessed the people of California get brutalized by this regime, with families being torn apart, people being denied due process, and millions living in fear. And when he wants to question the DogKiller in charge he was physically assaulted and removed.

I can’t help but wonder how he would have been treated if he were a white man and then we learned, aft er the incident from journalist Michael Wolff, that The Felon smeared Padilla, saying that he "looks like an illegal."

These racists are destroying our country and it falls to all of us to make sure that the MAGA movement never wins another election as long as it exists.

Sara Jacobs, Democrat California Representative, calling out Pete Hegseth, DUI Hire, for implementing the ban on trans people serving in the US military:

“You are actually kicking out these three highly qualified [female] service members solely because of their identity. You are using the very same arguments that are desegregating the military or allowing women to serve or allowing gay people to serve. In all those cases, those arguments were wrong. I think it’s clear that this is not about standards, or, and I’m quoting you again, ‘an equal, unwavering, gender-neutral, merit-based system,’ because if it were, you would be keeping these women in. Instead, you are the one injecting culture wars into the military, and it’s at the detriment of our military readiness and national security.”

Pete is a scared little drunk boy, afraid to admit that women, especially trans women, can do the same job he’s done, and probably better.

Lay off the sauce, Petey.

Simone Biles, Olympic Gold medalist, taking on transphobic athlete Riley Gaines:

“Riley Gaines you’re truly sick because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser. You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive or creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category in all sports!! But instead … you bully them … one thing for sure, no one in sports is safe with you around.”

Fact: Riley Gaines didn’t lose First Place to a trans athlete; she came in fifth and if you remove the trans athlete she came in fourth.

She’s just an angry bigoted loser.

Barack Obama, former President, on The Felon’s fascist ICE crackdowns and racist rhetoric:

“Thirteen years ago, my administration acted to protect young people who were American in every single way but one: on paper. DACA [Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals] was an example of how we can be a nation of immigrants and a nation of laws. And it’s an example worth remembering today, when families with similar backgrounds who just want to live, work, and support their communities, are being demonized and treated as enemies. We can fix our broken immigration system while still recognizing our common humanity and treating each other with dignity and respect. In fact, it’s the only way we ever will.”

Republicans have been foaming at the mouth for years to destroy DACA which allows individuals who arrived undocumented in the United Stated as children to receive a renewable window of deferred action from deportation.

And if it’s a smack down to President Obama, why they will love it all the more. There are roughly 530,000 active DACA recipients currently.

Tammy Duckworth, Democrat Illinois Senator, ripping Pete Hegseth a new one in a Congressional hearing:

“You are blowing through money like my fellow cadets and I did in our first liberty after basic camp. Luckily, I didn’t end up with a questionable tattoo. Your failures since taking office have been staggering. You sent classified operational information over Signal to chest thump to your wife, who has no security clearance, risking service member lives. You blew the $! Billion fight with the Houthis, who has no Navy and yet you lost all those aircraft. You have the unjustified and un-American use of the military in American cities, pulling resources and attention away from core missions to the detriment of warfighters and the warfighting you claim to love. You’re just an unquailed Yes man who can’t tell the President how to keep Americans safe.”

I mean, what should anyone have expected when the person put up for the job was a Fox News pundit, alcoholic sexual predator and liar??

Eric Sorensen, gay Democrat Representative from Illinois, confronted Navy Secretary John Phelan last week on the military’s “everything old is new again” anti-LGBTQ+ stance:

“I disagree with your leadership and [Hegseth’s] because I believe that every veteran deserves our thanks. We all walk in the footsteps of the leaders before us. And you may not find the value in the fact that many of those people are women, with different skin colors, different backgrounds, different talents, immigrants, gay, straight, transgender, disabled. You may want to change it, but you can’t. Because the America you and I both serve is a place where everyone has the ability or should have the ability to grow up and be the hero that your grandpa was. I wanted to do that when I was a kid. We’re going back to that time [of exclusion]. Gay kids like me, they don’t want to go into the Army, they don’t want to go into the Navy, because you don’t care for them. It’s happening all over our country. My grandpa taught me never to judge the value of a veteran’s service, and I hope that you can learn to do the same in your capacity, and you can find it in your heart to make that part of your process.”

Sadly, the GOP doesn’t do decent and honorable; they do fearmongering and divisiveness.

Cory Booker, Democrat Senator from New Jersey, slamming the Supreme Court for upholding a Tennessee state law banning gender-affirming care for trans youth:

“Today the Supreme Court chose to abandon trans children in America. Upholding the Tennessee ban on medical care for trans kids is heartless. This is a sad day but know I will never stop fighting to protect trans children everywhere. I know trans children. I hear the fear; I hear the worry that they’re not safe. The number one killer of children in America is gun violence. Do [Republicans] talk about that, the threat there? No. Singling out less than 1% of our population, which has the highest rates of bullying, threats of violence—heck, about 30% of LGBTQ kids, period, report missing school because of fear—and they made them the center of their political campaign. My faith teaches me to love everyone. What that means is you lead with courageous empathy for the struggles of trans children in America.”

The GOP wants you to fear 1% of the population.

Not the lunatics with guns; or the anti-Semites who set Jews on fire; or those Gestapo forces chasing immigrants through the streets of LA.

But fear the trans child.

  2. Oh, the Repugs are in an all-out war with the LGBTQ population. We knew it was coming. First they came for Trans people.... and so on.

Simone Biles told that stupid, bigoted See You Next Tuesday how it is. Riley is a bitter, bigoted, witch with a B.
    Tammy! Eric! They are fab.

    XOXO

  3. Riley is a loser, and a bad one at that. In fact, doesn't it seem as though the entire Republican party is composed entirely of losers, bitter people with gripes.

  4. When Tammy Duckworth called Dimwit Hegseth "an unquailed Yes man", did she mean "unqualified"? ...Actually, I just googled it and "unquailed" is right but I had never come across this word before. I guess it is possible to be unquailed and unqualified at the same time. Dimwit Hegseth is a cartoon character in 2D.

    1. 'Unquailed' doesn't make sense in that sentence, does it? I thought she meant unqualified, too.

  6. More and more bullshit is being inflicted upon the citizens by this vile administration. This morning, we heard from a fired DOGE-boy about VA-backed mortgage loans being withdrawn. This administration shows how they really feel about the military and vets, don't they?
Not enough people are paying attention.

👏 These are all great! I am so struck by the contrast between Obama still trying to be a thoughtful elder statesman (this country is, I'm afraid, far beyond that right now) and Simone Biles 🫶 just bringing it to Riley Gaines and demanding she eat her own bullshit!! 🤬
💪 The best power in messaging I have seen this week, though, is definitely Jon Stewart's opening on "The Daily Show" Monday night!! 28 minutes uninterrupted by commercials as he builds from one important topic to the next. Parades (birthday, No Kings, and Pride) and the Israel/Iran to absolutely slay Netanyahu's "justification" for attacks and MAGA infighting. All of it is brilliant and still manages to be funny and angry at the same time. But, then, after the "intermission" at about 17 minutes in, all humor is put aside as the political assassinations/attempts in Minnesota are covered with anger and passion and the destruction (I wish) of the political career of Sen. Mike Lee and the soulless creatures like him. If you did not see it, you are doing yourself a disservice, so here it is. The best Stewart has ever been!! ✊️ https://youtu.be/3Q08a7BI9XI?si=mH1aUXJwHCjISJ5t

  8. Donald Duck has surrounded himself with unfit persons who are egging him on to a war of aggression. The world will go up in flames in a conflagration started by Hamas, but the petrol was thrown by Net A Yahoo as he invaded Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and now Iran. The US should not get involved, apart from helping the innocents on all sides.

  10. Anybody that serves this country and puts their life on the line, and does not get shown respect or enjoy the benefits of being a veteran, then f*** this country. I'm surprised anybody wants to join it the way they're being treated anyways.

And I'll say it again if Democrats have said or done any of these things we'd never be here in the end of it. The Republicans would be up in the arms. So why do they get all pissy when we get up in arms?

  12. So much to comment on here. I'll just say that I suspect Riley Gaines knows she hasn't got the stuff, so she's settling for being a shit-stirrer to keep herself in the public eye.
