Republicans are pigs; true, some Democrats are pigs, but for the most part it seems like a GOP trait. For example …  This week, in the very same building, Couchfucker JD Vance disparaged Mr. Padilla for engaging in “political theater” and purposely called him by the wrong name: “Well, I was hoping Jose Padilla would be here to ask a question, but unfortunately, I guess he decided not to show up because there wasn’t the theater. I think everybody realizes that’s what this is. It’s pure political theater.” Says the Queen of Political Theater. And his use of ‘Jose’ when he must know Padilla’s real name unless he’s pathetically stupid and ill-informed, has a tinge of racism to it; Jose sounds more Latino than Alex. And this from a guy who was born James Donald Bowman then became James David Hamel and finally J.D. Vance, though he subsequently changed that by leaving out the periods and going by JD Vance. Maybe his issue with not remembering people’s names is that he’s had so many during his lifetime of reinventing himself.  He will remain in custody until his trial. Odd, isn’t it, that the GOP spreads all kinds of rumors about Democrats and child porn, Democrats and homosexuality, Democrats and rape, when the truth is it’s almost always Republicans.  Makes me wonder what kind of God is happy to see people bombed into oblivion from just one side and not the other; and what kind of God is happy that we are bombing Iran in retaliation for Iran being bombed first by The Fascist Felon’s BFF—Best Fascist Friend—Bibi Netanyahu. Oh, and it makes me wonder how God feels about Little Mike Johnson lying to America about Iran refusing to commit to a nuclear disarmament agreement. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action [JCPOA], AKA the Iran nuclear deal, was negotiated during the Obama administration as an agreement between Iran and several world powers aimed at limiting Iran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. In 2018, The Fascist Felon regime withdrew the US from the JCPOA and reimposed sanctions on Iran. So, we had a deal that The Felon ended and is now bombing Iran because they won’t make a deal? Have I got that fascist?  In the wake of the attempted assassination of Minnesota Democratic State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, and the assassination of Democratic House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, a week ago, Mike Lee because he’s a soulless party over country asshat of epic proportions went online to share his reaction to the shootings in posts to X that he tried to remove but will live on forever to remind us what a callous fuck Mike Lee is: “This is what happens when Marxists don’t get their way.” Accompanying this vile comment was a photo of the shooter Vance Boelter, wearing what appears to be a latex face mask. And Mike Lee wasn’t done; he posted another picture of Boelter under the caption: “Nightmare on Waltz Street.” That is a reference to Minnesota governor and former Democratic nominee for vice-president, Tim Walz, who Mike Lee blamed for the shooting. Mike Lee is the worst kind of politician and the people of Utah deserve to have better representation and if you reelect then you are saying you agree with his vile comment. So, I guess that makes y’all Bitches. |

Mike Lee, Utah GOP Senator, says he’d heard “rumors circulating in the days and weeks leading up to January 6 .. suggesting that some states would be shifting out their slates of electors” and says he decided to open and count the electoral votes and make phone calls to investigate the truthfulness of those rumors. What Mike Lee doesn’t say is that he sent multiple text messages to Thing 45 offering to help overturn the result of the election. That isn’t searching for the truth, that’s being a traitor, and that’s the GOP. Lauren Boebert, the GOP Representative, criminal and ALLEGED former escort, believes women are a “lesser vessel” when compared to men: “We are created equal, we’re not the same. Women are the lesser vessel and we need masculinity in our lives to balance that, that so-called weakness. Just us being more frail and needing that strength in our lives.” I guess Lauren’s GED didn’t explain what equal means, but this is the GOP where women cannot make their own healthcare choices and one woman in Congress thinks y’all are less than, and that’s the GOP. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina’s GOP Senator, has asked the Supreme Court to block a subpoena from the special grand jury investigating efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, arguing that his efforts after the 2020 election were legislative activities protected by the Speech and Debate Clause of the US Constitution. But ask yourself this, if it was all protected by Free Speech, why not testify? Is it because he’s maybe wrong and lying and that’s the GOP? Greg Abbott, GOP Governor of Texas, was aware of the flight of migrants from San Antonio to Martha’s Vineyard though he denied any involvement. And yet text messages released by Abbott’s office in response to a public information request show otherwise. That can be called kidnapping, and that’s the GOP. Ron DeSantis, Florida’s Fascist Governor, also faces multiple lawsuits, and it seems he expected as much—which means he knew what he was doing was wrong—because the “nonrecurring sum of $1,500,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to the Department of State for Fiscal Year 2021-2022, for litigation.” For litigation against what, Ronnie? Human trafficking. That’s the GOP. Kari Lake, Arizona’s QAnon candidate for governor, did not answer—when asked multiple times—if she will accept the results of her state’s 2022 gubernatorial election if she loses. She did say she’ll accept the results if she wins, but not if she loses and that’s what the GOP does Mehmet Oz is a lying quack doctor who has paid millions in fines for lying about products he was paid to hawk on his TV show, but this is a new low … At a campaign event in Philadelphia a Black woman broke down in tears describing the fatal shootings of her brother and nephew, and was comforted by Oz. Once the encounter was featured in local and national news reports, journalists discovered that the distraught woman, Sheila Armstrong, is a paid member of the Oz campaign staff. He's always lied, and he’s still lying, and that’s what the GOP does. Steve Scalise, GOP congressman, claims Nancy Pelosi didn't do enough to secure the building while under siege. But the funny thing about lying, pandering Steve Scalise is that video footage shows him in the room when Pelosi was calling the National Guard; not only in the room, but mere feet away from Pelosi. But still he lied because that’s what the GOP does. Herschel Walker, the dumb as a rock GOP candidate for a Senate seat in Georgia as a Republican mocked transgender people who serve in the military: “Hey, just think about it: Pronoun? In our military? How do you identify? In our military? These are war times. What happened to push-ups? Sit-ups? Because I can tell you right now, China, Iran, and Russia are not talking about pronouns.” First off, how does he get from pronouns to pushups, and why oh why would he compare us to three countries with poor records on human rights, especially when it comes to LGBTQ+ people? This is what the GOP wants the people of Georgia to elect so that they can gain a seat in the Senate, caring not at all that he’s an idiot, because that’s what the GOP does. SCOTUS overturned Roe v Wade while the GOP cheered, and now we see a result: at least two children who were victims of incest have been denied abortions in Florida since the state instituted its 15-week ban. The GOP-controlled state legislature allowed exceptions to the 15-week ban in order to save the mother’s life, prevent serious injury, or if the fetus has a fatal abnormality. Not for rape or incest, which means rapists and child molesters have more rights than their victims, and that’s what the GOP does. Marjorie Taylor Greene tried to make a show of herself standing up for Confederate soldiers and “our nation’s history”—the wrong side of history—but failed as she always does. She visited the Wilder Brigade Monument in Georgia to claim that the memorial recognizes “Confederate soldiers” but apparently is as dumb as Lauren Boebert because what she believed was a Confederate monument actually pays tribute to Union troops that battled the Confederates there and won. She is utterly clueless and doesn’t care, but that’s what the GOP does. Now, if Greene’s ignorance doesn’t scare you, maybe this will: a New York Times reporter confirmed rumors that if Thing 45 gets the GOP nomination in 2024 he will consider his fellow serial adulterer, liar and cheater, Marjorie Taylor Greene as his running mate. A couple of programming notes … my father has postponed his New Ankle™ surgery for the time being so I won’t be heading out West for an extended stay. He may reschedule; he may not.
On the Carlos front, he’d been a bit worried about his mother since his father passed away; she’s staying with family in Querétaro, outside Mexico City, and they’re keeping her busy and taking good care of her. But the other day, Carlos was speaking to her on the phone and after he’d finished, he hung up and said to me:
“I can’t believe it.” “What?” I was telling my mother something, and I made a little joke and she laughed.” “I can’t believe that anyone would laugh at one of your jokes.” “No, seriously, this was the first time I’d heard her laugh in I don’t know how long.” “Well, if you think about all she’s gone through, in the last month that we know about, not even considering that last few years, she probably hasn’t had the chance to laugh much.”
But that was all it took to ease Carlos mind about his mother; a little laugh during a phone call. I am so glad he got to hear that.
Sidenote: I told him that I was kinda happy not to have to go to Oregon for five weeks; and he said:
"Awwww, you'd miss me?" "You? I'd talk to you five times a day, but Tuxedo doesn't have a phone! What would I do?"
What can I say, what Tuxedo and I have is real, and it's fabulous.
Plus, you know, being away from Carlos would make me crazy.

Shortly after Talabama Governor Kay Ivey signed that extreme anti-abortion bill into law, she attended the execution of Michael Brandon Samra, who took part in the quadruple murder of the family of a friend.
Keep that in mind when she says she’s all about the sanctity of life because she attended an execution. In fact, since Ivey assumed office two years ago, Talabama has executed six other men, including convicted serial bomber Walter Moody who, at 83, was the oldest person executed in the nation’s history; and don’t forget Ivey’s attendance at the execution of Domineque Ray after the Supreme Court refused to issue a stay when Ivey’s government denied the condemned Muslim inmate access to an imam in the death chamber, although it does provide a Christian chaplain.
Keep in mind that California has the nation’s largest death row with 735 condemned inmates, Alabama has the highest per capita rate of death sentences.
So much for Ivey’s notion that the new abortion ban “stands as a powerful testament to Alabamians’ deeply held belief that every life is precious & that every life is a sacred gift from God.”

Senator Mike Lee, a Utah Republican, bigot and homophobe spoke out in opposition last week after the House of Representatives passed the historic Equality Act, which expands existing civil rights laws to protect LGBTQ people.
Lee said the legislation, which heads to the Senate but has little chance of being brought to the floor for a vote, is unnecessary because:
“LGBT people don't need protection because Americans are becoming more "tolerant."
Funny, cuz all that tolerance was nowhere on display last December when GOP bigot and homophobe Mike Lee blocked the renomination of a lesbian to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission because he said her views on marriage were "radical."
LGBTQ Americans need protection from asshats like GOP bigot and homophobe Mike Lee.

Last week Robert F. Smith, the billionaire investor who founded Vista Equity Partners and became the richest black man in America, gave the commencement speech at Morehouse College and kind of went off on a tangent when he …
… told all 396 graduates that he and his family would pay off the entire graduating class’s student debt so they could start their lives without student debt hanging over them.
That’s right. In this last years, full-time tuition at Morehouse was $25,368, with other expenses such as room and board, books and fees, pushing the total to over $48,000.

He’s at it again … totally-not-gay-at-all former Republican Congressman, noted homophobe Aaron Schock was snapped poolside at the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood by a gay tourist visiting from New York.
The closet case was accompanied by an attractive speedo-clad young man lounging at the pool, until he got into the water and tried “chatting up” another young man.
Aaron? Come out already you big queer. And then go away, because after all the years and effort you spent denying the LGBTQ community representation and equal rights, we don’t want you or your turquoise belt.
