Would You Hit It?

Adam Lambert, a runner-up on American Idol, who is actually a bigger star than the guy, er, whats-his-name, who won Idol that year.

And, I may be wrong, but isn't that whats-his-name behind Lambert, asking for some coins? I dunno, because that's neither here nor there.

Would.You.Hit.It?

Yes or No.

I Didn't Say It....

Matt Bomer, my Husband-In-My-Head, on stripping for women in Magic Mike:
"Channing told me, 'You have to use the stretcher and just get up on this girl and grind your junk in her face. But this girl was not going to just sit there and be ground upon. She started licking me in all kinds of special places and we just kept going…It was one of those situations where you were in an environment where moral parameters are not the same as they are if you're doing a political drama. You just sort of have to say yes to everything and embrace it."

As Carlos said, while watching Hugh Jackman, and his Huge Ackman, kiss his wife at The Tony’s: Lucky bitch.
Seriously. Why.Couldn’t.That.Have.Been.Me!

Adam Lambert, on being a gay role model:
"At the beginning I was a little bit like, 'I don't know what to say, I don't know how to be that role model,' even though all of a sudden people are telling me I am. One of the things I find very gratifying now is that I have grown a lot more comfortable with my position and I'm embracing the opportunity to be able to address this stuff through music...In so many cases, I find myself saying, I wanna be the really nice down-to-earth guy who happens to be gay in order to set an example that it's not threatening. Then there's another part of me that's like, no I wanna be fierce and ... do whatever I want because I'm a rebel. I have that battle inside of me. I know a lot of people do."

I think just coming out and living your life as an openly gay, unapologetically gay, normal guy is being a role model.
It shows not only other gay people that it’s just fine and dandy to be out, it also shows straight people that gay folks are normal, and weird, and odd and different; just like straight people.

John Fugelsang, on the Cheney's and daughter Mary's lesbian wedding:
"So on behalf of all the progressives in America, Cheney family, allow me to say, “You’re welcome. Because while Dick Cheney’s party spent decades calling people like Mary deviant or unnatural, the liberals were fighting for her. When Karl Rove made same-sex marriage a wedge issue to divide Americans in the 2004 election, liberals were writing the checks to defeat that homophobic agenda. And when Fox News spent hundreds of hours lying about people like Mary Cheney and calling them a threat to traditional marriage, the very people Mary’s dad so deeply despises were the ones standing up for her liberty. So you’re welcome, Cheneys, we were happy to do it."

Isn’t it funny that the GOP and its Band of Homophobes have been silent about Mary Cheney’s wedding, but they seem to get their panties in a twist over every gay Democrat who gets married?
Pot.Kettle.Hypocrite.

Pablo Monroy, a 24-year-old Navy vet, on asking his partner to marry him:
“Even when I was growing up I wanted to get married, settle down, have a family...white picket fence. And even after I realized I was gay I still wanted that, with whoever [sic] I loved.”

Of course you wanted that. We all grow up wanting the same things; some of us to be married, some of us not. But the fact is that it shouldn’t be different because you’re gay.
It’s all about being equal, man.

George Takei, former Boy Scout, on the Boy Scouts of America:
“Some of my best memories from my boyhood are of my scouting days. I played bass bugle in our troop’s drum and bugle corps. We marched in Fourth of July parades. We learned teamwork and brotherhood from camping together. The Boy Scouts built my character. As an adult, I was shocked and deeply disappointed to learn that the Scouts discriminate against LGBT people. This is contrary to the ideals of equality and fair play that I hold dear. The Boy Scouts must change.”

I was never a Boy Scout. I was a Cub Scout and I loathed it.
Camping? Honey, there is no room service! But I digress.
The BSA needs to change, and the change will come from pressure of both former Boy Scouts and current Boy Scouts.
Inclusiveness is the way to be.

Debra Messing, making a joke at a Trevor project event:
"I'd be devastated if my son grows up to be a hetero (sexual). As a parent you just envision a certain life for your child. I mean, if he's straight, think of all the fabulous things he's going to miss out on!"

You’re preachin’ to the choir, Grace, er, Debra.
But, you know, we gays love our straights and we’ll help your son discover what’s fabulous in life, even if his sexual orientation is straight.
I mean, if we were all gay, wouldn’t life be a little dull?
Oh, who am I kidding: Life would be faaaaaaabulous!

Madeline Rogero, mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee, celebrating Pride and taking jabs at Stacey Campfield's "Don't Say Gay" bill:
"I have purposely and strategically put together a very diverse and inclusive leadership team and with City Council we have begun to tackle these issues head on. That's why in April I announced a non-discrimination ordinance that would ensure that the city did not discriminate in its hiring or employment practices on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. I am so very proud that our City council passed that with a vote of 9-0. In our City Hall, it's okay to say gay."

Maybe there is hope for Tennessee yet, if they elect leaders like Rogero.
Hopefully her brand of understanding and acceptance and tolerance, and just good common sense and intelligence, will rub off on Tennessee.
Fingers crossed!

Basil Maglaris, Kraft's director of corporate affairs, on Pride Oreo:
"We are excited to illustrate what is making history today in a fun and playful way. Kraft Foods has a proud history of celebrating diversity and inclusiveness. We feel the OREO ad is a fun reflection of our values. There has been a lot of buzz about the image, and it shows how relevant OREO is to people even after 100 years."

Random Musings

Well, The Next Food Network Star is back again, and again, I'm hooked. They've changed the format this year, breaking it into three teams, each with a Food Network mentor: Giada De Laurentiis, of the blazing white teeth and oh so perky personality; Bobby Flay, arrogant douche; and Alton Brown, who, and call me crazy, I find absolutely adorkable.
He’s nerdy; he's cute; he's very smart, very nice, and wears bow-ties.
OMG....he's Carlos!
That explains that.

I thought this had already happened, I mean, it's the 21st century and all, but this week Adam Lambert's new album "Trespassing" debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, and #1 on the Billboard Digital Albums Chart.
It's Lambert's first #1 debut, and also the first time ever, that an openly gay singer has had an album debut in the top spot. Elton John and George Michael, each had top spot records, but not before they came out, and, oddly enough, they haven't had a top spot record since coming out.
So, congrats to Adam Lambert for another first.

Lots of gossip this week about former Cosby Show cute kid Raven-Symoné being a lesbian and living in NYC with her girlfriend. It was all over the Twitter and the Facebook, until Raven came out, pardon the pun, to say that her private life is her private life and she will not comment on whom she is dating or with whom she might be living.
So, is she gay? I dunno. If she is, good for; but bad for her for staying in the closet because a lot of young Black girls, who are struggling with coming out could be helped by Raven's story.
If she isn't gay, well, good for her, too.

Speaking of Is she gay or is she straight....
Queen Latifah performed at the Long Beach Gay Pride last weekend and apparently told the crowd that she was proud to be among "her people."
Instructing her audience "to conquer hate with love" and to "let their inner light shine in the world," Latifah, long rumored to be a lesbian, admitted, "I’ve been waiting to do this for a long time."
But she didn't say those two words, I'm gay, that people have expected. So, is she testing the waters? Is she just gonna go Jodie Foster or Jim Parsons and be known as a gay celebrity until one day it's just mentioned in passing.
Again, if Latifah came out she'd certainly be helping a lot of people struggling with coming to terms with their orientation.

So, Forbes magazine named JLo as the Most Powerful Celebrity in the world. Seriously. JLo.
I guess being on Idol, selling Fiats, hawking her “clothing line” at Kohl’s, being a spokesperson for hair color and makeup and, well, anything else, plus schtupping a backup dancer young enough to be her son, is Forbes definition of power.
Sadly, Oprah toppled from the top of the list, though she is rumored to have made $165 million last year.
But her network, OWN, which I’m not sure she really OWNS reportedly lost another $330 million.
So, even if she OWNS a third of OWN she took quite fall.

I caught a bit of The View this week and again I am wondering: Isn't it time for Babs to retire?
See, they were discussing the wedding of Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, to his longtime girlfriend, And the discussion turned to the fact that the marriage took place after Facebook went public, and how Zuckerberg might have planned it that way because if he and the new missus get a divorce in the future, his earnings from before the marriage are untouchable.
Okay, so maybe he did it that way and maybe he didn't. No one really knows except the Zuckerbergs. But, Batty Babs Walters claimed that Zuckerberg did plan to marry after the stock went public so he wouldn't have to share that pot of gold. She claimed it as gospel.
Funny, but, how does she know that? I mean, the first status updates Babs ever made was etching into a cave wall: Today Daddy dragged home a brontosaurus for dinner.
Someone make her retire already.

Dharun Ravi, the former Rutgers student who, with friend Molly Wei, pushed Tyler Clementi toward suicide because they videotaped him having sex with another man, was sentenced to thirty days in jail this week.
Now, I understand that he was actually charged with eavesdropping, and not murder, but when your eavesdropping leads to someone killing themselves, maybe thirty days is the wrong sentence?
Just sayin'.

Battleship. The movie.
B-one. G-seven.
Seriously?
I mean, the alien bullets are shaped like the peg pieces from the actual game.
And, really? Rihanna?
Are there no new ideas anymore?
Did no one learn from Clue: The Movie?

You gotta love a politician who says it like it is.....
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, long rumored to be a potential vice presidential candidate alongside Mittsy, wasn't mincing words when he was asked about it yet again: “If I thought that call was coming, I would disconnect the phone,” Daniels said in an interview with Fox News.
And last week former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty told the Minnesota Star Tribune: “I'm going to take my name off the list, so if ... you're a journalist, an observer, remove my name from the list,” It gives me the giggles that more people are saying Don't pick me than are saying I'll do it.
In fact, only loons like Santorum and Gingrich seem interested.
Poor Mittsy, your own party doesn't think you have a shot.

Flipping channels I caught some of the American Idol finale last night.
Such a trendy show.
Neil Diamond!
Chaka Khan!
Reba McIntyre!
And Idols dressed in white like an old episode of The Brady Bunch, when they tried to be like The Partridge Family.
Yikes.

I Ain't One To Gossip, But.....

Poor JLo. She's learning the hard way that when you hook-up with a back-up dancer eighteens years younger than you, people might be pissed off.
The trouble started when JLo's mama stopped talking to her because of her, ahem, relationship with the toy boy. Then soon-to-be-ex Marc Anthony refused to work with her on their joint project, a kind of Latino Idol, when she brought her little new man with her.
And to make matters worse, some people might be confused.
The Enquirer--that bastion of journalism....Hey, they broke the John Edwards story, remember--has the story from a few "eyewitnesses" who say that Jennifer is often being mistaken for back-up-toy-boy-dancer, Casper’s, mother.

It's funny, cuz she could be. And, while JLo may not look like his mama, she could have gone to high school with her.

Poor Kobe. After that whole accused-of-rape-but-I'll-buy-my-wife-a-diamond-ring escapade of a few years back, his cheating has caught up with him, and now Vanessa Bryant, owner of The Apology Diamond, has filed for divorce.
And Kobe's acting all sorts of guilty, and so most folks think he is guilty of some Tiger-sized man-whorin'.
It seems Vanessa Bryant recently caught Kobe red, er, handed, in his latest bout with infidelity and that is why she filed for divorce. But, um, yeah, it wasn't the first time. Over the years, Vanessa has caught Kobe with several women, but, and I'm just guessing here, a new piece of jewelry or a shiny new car appeared and Vanessa forgot all about the extra-marital schtupping.
I guess there ain't no diamond big enough, this time.

Scarlett Johansson is miffed. Not about breaking up with Ryan Reynolds [sidenote: Really?] or about her split-second relationship with Sean Penn [sidenote: Really?!?].No,. she's miffed because people call her ScarJo, saying, “It’s a laziness. People can’t actually say the whole name? It’s just bizarre.....How come Daniel Day-Lewis isn’t subjected to “like, ‘DaDay’? So Cate Blanchett is not, like, ‘CaBla’? Why is that? Why do I have to get stuck? If I hear somebody say that, I know I don’t know them at all.”
Oh, honey. You're no Daniel Day-Lewis or Cate Blanchett. In fact, in your last few films, you've been a supporting player.
So, take the ScarJo and just live with it.
It hasn't hurt JLo.

James Franco.I don't get him. I don't get the sort-of-pseudo-stoner-intellectual-grad-student-ness of him. I just think he's odd. And not that talented.
But, apparently that slacker attitude is just an act, at least where a former teacher is concerned. It seems that Franco has turned his rather sizable wrath on a poor NYU professor who dared to give him a bad grade for barely attending class.
You know, Cuz he’s James Franco, right?
NYU professor, José Angel Santana, gave Franco a 'D' because he missed 12 of his 14 “Directing the Actor II” classes while pursuing a master’s in fine arts. And, for that, Santana says he has suffered all kinds of drama--first from Franco, who publicly ridiculed him, and then from his department, which axed him over the 'D.'
Yes. Fired for giving Franco a 'D.'
Santana is now suing NYU and wants his job back, and says that Franco's other professors at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts gave him good grades even though he wasn't so hot in class, because big names such as Franco’s typically translate into big bucks for universities.
In fact, Santana suggested that the good grades Franco received were payback to the actor for hiring one of his other professors, Jay Anania, to write and direct the film William Vincent, which starred Franco.
Hey, lots of folks buy grades and have sex for grades, right?
Nothing wrong with that......right?

I'll put this out there right at the first.
I don't like Tom Cruise. In fact, my loathe of Tommy Grrrl is so strong that I even loathed Nicole Kidman, until she divorced him.
Hey. I have my reasons. One of which is, once, when being interviewed by Grandma Walters, who asked him about The Gay Rumors, he said that the idea that he would be gay is disgusting, because, to him, gay is disgusting.
And it might be if you're a pint-sized Hollywood homo trapped in a Scientology closet. Just sayin'.
But this tale is about how Tommy Grrrl keeps looking younger each and every year. I mean, sheesh, grrrl is forty-nine. Wud up wid dat?
Well, according to a Brazilian magazine, EPOCA, Tommy Grrrl has had meetings with world famous Brazilian plastic surgeon Dr. Ivo Pitanguy. In fact, Tommy and The Blade are so close, he even invited the good doctor to the 2009 Rio premiere of Knight and Day. And then Tommy sent his Robo-wife, and their daughter to have lunch at Pitanguy’s private island in Brazil’s Bay of Kings.
It seems Tommy is frantic about his skin, and has even begun using Katie's Robot-Creams....WD40, I think it's called. But now that Dr. Pitanguy’s skin care line, Beauty By Clinica Ivo Pitanguy, is available at Bergdorf Goodman, Tommy has taken to ordering it by the case to slather on his aging mug. The cost: $300 for 1.7 ounces.
Tommy's doctor 'friend' is ALLEGED to have worked on Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Persian Empress Farah Diba, French president Francois Mitterrand and Frank Sinatra in addition to Miss Tommy.
What do you think? Think Tommy likes a little nip and tuck as much as he ALLEGEDLY likes a little d**k and f**k?

Proving that bad behavior crosses sexual orientation lines, Adam Lambert and his boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen, a real life Pocket Gay, had a bit of an, um, incident in Finland.
The couple were at a gay bar, the aptly named , Don’t Tell Momma, and Adam ALLEGEDLY started getting all kinds of violent. And then he was arrested.
The argument started in the bar, but the fight, as they should, took to the streets. Earrings were removed and makeup was mussed, hair was ALLEGEDLY pulled, and when patrons tried to stop the altercation, Lambert attacked them as well. Luckily, though, no one was injured. Still,  ex-Miss Helsinki, Sofia Ruusila, who had been celebrating with Lambert and Koskinen, tried to get between the quarrelling couple when Lambert accidentally hit her by mistake.
Lambert and Koskinen spent several hours in a Finnish jail following their arrest, and were being held for questioning as local police investigate a total of four possible assault offenses. Still, the lovebirds, and brawling-birds, should be released after being interrogated.
It’s unclear whether Lambert or his Lil Gay will face charges.
It sounds like Adam had too much to drink and he started getting aggressive and pissy and… well, that ain't good. Drunk queens can be nasty.
Heck drunks can be nasty.

I Didn't Say It........

Barack Obama, on the GOP debates:
"I mean has anybody been watching the debates lately? You've got a governor whose state is on fire denying climate change...It's true. You've got audiences cheering at the prospect of somebody dying because they don't have healthcare. And booing a service member in Iraq because they're gay. That's not reflective of who we are."

It seems simple enough, doesn't it?
If you want people executed, or you want people with no healthcare to simply die, or if you have no respect for a gay soldier, then vote GOP.
Vote for the candidates who said nothing as people cheered and booed.
But remember, you get what you deserve.

John Shore, Christian author, on Christians who bully:
"If you’re a Christian who believes that being gay is a morally reprehensible offense against God, then you share a mindset, worldview, and moral structure with the kids who hounded Jamey Rodemeyer, literally, to death. It is your ethos, your convictions, and your theology that informed, supported, and encouraged their cruelty. We Christians who believe that God created gay people as much in His own image as he did straight people are begging you to reconsider your theology — to do nothing more than be open to an alternative, fully credible, scholastically sound interpretation of one or two lines from Paul. How can you be unwilling to do something so simple, when you see the horrible ultimate cost of that refusal?"

No one is asking you to disavow your faith.
We're just asking that you be more open to the possibility that god, if that's what you believe, created all of us.
And, as such, we deserve to be treated equally.

Richard Land, of the Southern Baptist Convention, on DADT ending:
"I think there's a grave concern on the part of the Southern Baptist chaplains that I've talked to in all branches of the service that their First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religious free exercise are going to be either extinguished or severely limited in the near future and they're very, very, very concerned. I believe that if we get a Republican president, we're going to hear the senior officers in all of the branches singing a very different tune than the one they're singing now"

Why is these so-called "men of god" think that by allowing gay men and women to serve openly, that Christians will be denied and rights?
You cannot deny rights, when you give everyone equal rights.
And I don't believe we'll ever be a country of Don't Believe, Don't Pray.

Adam Lambert, on being gay:
"I think when I was about sixth grade, that's when I realized that I was probably not the same as the other boys. And, you know, it was a weird discovery and, of course, I was kind of in denial for a while and it was all in my head ... That's one of the things that's so hard about being a young person and realizing you're gay or bi or whatever -- we're not told that that's okay."

Slowly we as a country, as a people, are beginning to realize that gay people are born that way.
And as this news sinks in, and more people understand it, we'll see less intolerance, less bigotry, less bullying.
And that cannot be a bad thing, now can it?

Bob Maginnis, Family Research Council senior fellow, wanting more than just reinstatement of DADT:
"They did not tell the Pentagon that homosexuals have to serve; they just said we're removing this law. So a new president could impose a new regulation or for that matter, Congress could pass a law saying 'we now prohibit the service by people that are known to be homosexual.' That's easily done. Even though it would be the right thing to do, it would take a very courageous future leader to do anything about it."

Courageous? Or pandering to the will of the bigots and homophobes?
And, if you want to ban people from serving, people who are willing to fight and die for their country, then you might want to ask that next president where we'll get our military service-people.

Pam Olsen, Rick Perry's newly-named co-chair of his Florida Presidency 5 campaign leadership team, explaining that natural disasters are God's judgment for tolerance of gay people:
"We are under judgment. Do you know how many of the denominations now are suddenly saying, ‘Oh ok we think it’s ok now to have gay marriage, we think it’s ok to have gay preachers, we think it’s ok.’ Whole denominations! The Episcopalians fell off the planet, they think it’s ok to have gay priests. We’ve got other groups, one of the Presbyterians, they’re looking at voting, we’ve got other ones, they’re all of the sudden going, ‘Oh in the name of tolerance,’ and they’re forgetting God’s word completely in whole denominations....And God is shaking. If anybody looks at the news and has just seen what’s been happening recently with the floods, the fires, the tornadoes, God is shaking....But the reality is God is judging us, and I think it’s going to get worse."

That's funny, Pam, because I was thinking that floods and fires and hurricanes and tornadoes and people like you are God's punishment for people being homophobic.
See, there, Pammy, idiocy works both ways, only you actually believe what you say, and I'm being snark-astic.

Scott Lively, "Pink Swastika" author, on the scourge that is the LGBT community:
"We need to stand firmly and unapologetically on the hard truth that homosexuality is not a benign, morally neutral social phenomenon. It is an insidious and contagious form of sexual perversion condemned by God as an abomination. I cringe even writing these words because I know the wrath I am inviting on myself. Still, someone needs to say this boldly and publicly because it is the truth, and only the truth can set us free of the political correctness that has imprisoned us until now. The homosexual agenda represents an existential threat to Christian civilization and we're in the final phase of the war, losing badly. It all hinges upon you, Christian reader. Either get into the game in earnest, immediately, or wave goodbye."

Funny, I think going to a foreign country and working silently to see that people are killed or being gay is more of an insidious and contagious perversion.
Scott Lively wants gay people dead. Not just unable to marry, or unable to find housing, or unable to keep a job.
He wants gay people dead.
That's perversion. In the name of religion.

Tony Perkins, FRC head bigot, on Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, the only Republican sponsor on a bill to end DOMA:
"Never a big fan of family issues, Florida Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R) has joined the dark side by becoming the first Republican to co-sponsor bills that boost counterfeit marriage while effectively closing down most Christian adoption services. Last week, Ros-Lehtinen became the only Republican sponsor on a bill that seeks to overturn the bipartisan Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). This new legislation's ultimate target is to overturn the state laws and 42 state constitutional amendments in by redefining marriage at the federal level. Is the Republican Party ready to be turned into a party that sacrifices religious liberty on the altar of unrestrained sexual license?"

Or, is the Republican party the party to set aside hatred intolerance, bigotry and bullying, and focus on the ills of this country, like say, oh, maybe the economy, or those pesky wars, or the environment, or the ever-widening gulf between the classes?
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen deserves praise for having the balls to stand up to the GOP for what's right.

I Ain't One To Gossip, But........

I'm not an expert, but having babies must be hard, so I, for one, would wanna knock back a shot of tequila or two after poppin' out a Mini Me, much less two Mini Me's.
So that's apparently what happened with Mariah Carey after she gave birth to her her two Mini Mimi's, AKA Monroe and Moroccan on April 30.
Sidenote: Monroe is the girl? Moroccan is a boy? What happened to Mike and Sue? This makes Apple sound almost normal, and there ain't nothin' normal about Paltrow, m'kay?
Anyhoo, back to Nick and MooMoo, er, Mimi, er, Mariah, and their bundles of badly named babies. It seems that, while in the hospital, someone called Child Protective Services on the Nick and Mariah Carey.
Yes, I know, the last name is technically Cannon, but you know darn well that folks call him Mr. Carey and Mimi loves that.
But about that CPS call. Nick told Piers Morgan that "Child Protective Services actually came to me, [and] said that they were here to see me because there had been allegations that there was drug and alcohol use during the stay in the hospital."
Nick began the spin.
He said it was all a mistake because someone involved in Carey's care was overheard discussing a beer that ALLEGEDLY boosts breast milk production. But, um, we all know how Mimi loves her champagne--in fact, I thought she dubbed the offspring Dom and Veuve--so I wonder if Mimi was sippin' on the bubbly after spitting out the spuds.
Just sayin'.

You know, if you're an up-and-coming starlet or singer or dancer, or whatever it is that Ali Lohan thinks she wants to be today, you try to emulate someone who's gone before you and achieved success. You find a role model and say, "I wanna be like that." Then again, if you're Ali Lohan, who exactly do you have to look up to, if you get my meaning.
You can become a media whore like your mama, selling your children to the highest bidder and then championing them as they fight arrest after arrest and enter rehab like it's a summer holiday. Or, you can try to reinvent yourself as your sister, who's been accused of everything from car theft to possession of drugs to kidnapping to jewel theft to drug possession to being drunk in public to being a really bad actress.
Yup, those two are the women to whom Ali Lohan aspires to be.
It seems Ali joined the Star Tattoo club, and is the latest female Lohan, after Dina and Lindsanity, to get a star tattooed on her left wrist.
Nice, I guess, but it also marks another Ali-Lindsay link: doing something illegal. See, 17-year-old Ali lives in California where it's illegal to get inked if you're under eighteen, even with a parent's--I giggle, because Dina is so not a parent--consent..
Ali has tried her whole life to be Lindsay Jr. She began modeling as a baby, appeared in her big sister's music--I giggle because Lindsay can't sing--videos, and even tried her hand at being a singer herself. And ALLEGEDLY this wee star tattoo isn't Ali's first one. There are reports that she has the same 'bella vita' tat on her back that Lindsay has on hers.
Next up? A jailhouse tat like her sister.

Even actresses can get a little litigious.
Case in point: Rosie Perez says she was injured on the set of 'Law & Order: SVU' way back in 2009 and now she's taking legal action against the NBC show.
It seems Rosie was filming a guest role on the hit New York City-based crime drama when a scene called for an extra to forcibly shake her. Now, Rosie says the violent action caused her to suffer a herniated disc which took two surgeries to correct.
And she wants cash, only she doesn't have a clue as to how much.
Still, she says the shaking should have been done by a stuntman who knows how to handle these things and not just some no-named extra on-set that day. Perez's lawyer Brian O'Dwyer, says, "This person was not a stuntman, he was just an extra."
Trouble is, even after being injured Perez continued to work on the show, and now claims her injuries have worsened. O'Dwyer says, "There was pressure on her to continue and finish up the episode and she did."
I like me some Rosie Perez, but I have trouble with this. You get hurt at work, and say nothing ALLEGEDLY, and then continue to work, and then you sue for your injuries, without naming a specific amount of money. You just say you want "very substantial" damages.
Perez underwent two surgeries to correct the problem, and O'Dwyer says "She's still suffering severe pain, numbness of the arms, and she'll never be the same despite the surgery." He also says that the injury caused her to be unable to work for almost a year.
Now, again, I love Rosie, but it isn't like she's the in-demand actress, like say, a Jennifer Love Hewitt--who always seems to find a job--and again: You get hurt at work, stop working. You want to sue because you got hurt, how about suing only for your out of pocket medical bills.
I mean, to say you don't know how much money you want makes me think this is all about a payday.

It's the American idol Also-Ran Feud.
Former American Idol contestants Adam Lambert and James Durbin--neither of whom won the title--are trading jabs at one another in the press.
After James Durbin was voted off last week in the most shocking elimination in all of Idol history--I kid, because that title goes to the year JHud was voted off--Adam Lambert took issue with Durbin. In fact, he said he was tiring of Durbin as the competition wound down: “I think he’s got talent and passion 100 percent, but I feel like he’s trying way too hard. Also, his niche is so limited with the metal. When he did that “Heavy Metal” song (by Sammy Hagar), James was note-perfect. He was on pitch, which is usually kind of an issue, and I think he sounded really good, but it felt like a copycat. I didn’t feel like I was seeing an original artist yet. And I’m not saying he doesn’t have that in him, but it hasn’t been showing.”
Oh dear! The leather gloves have come off.
See, when Durbin heard this news, he responded to MTV with: “I was nothing (but) nice to that guy, [and] he decided to take it to a different level. Whatever.”
Whatever? I think Durbin needs some debating skills, rather than fall back on the all-encompassing 'whatever'. But he did try and distance himself from Lambert: “I don’t know what the comparison’s all about. He sings pop and electronic, and I sing rock and metal.”
And Lambert has a Grammy nod and you don't
And he has a hit record and you don't.
And he has a record deal and you don't
And he kissed a guy on TV.
Just sayin'.

Those wacky Grammers.
They've been so quiet since Kelsey quickly divorced former porn-star-turned-exotic-dancer-turned-Beverly-Hills-Housewife-turned-ex-wife so he could marry a women a few months older than his oldest daughter, that I thought all was lovely-dovey between the former spouses.
Not so much.
Kelsey Grammer just filed for sole physical custody of their two young children.
Camille responded with, How dare he! I'm their mother. No one loves that girl, Mary? Margaret? Whatever? than me. And that little boy, the younger one right? I love him with all my heart. In fact, I see them for lunch every other Thursday.
But now Kelsey Grammer believes that his children--and, Camille? They're names are Mason and Jude, so you might wanna jot than down--have been caught in the middle of an emotional tug of war between Former Missus Grammer, Mister Grammer, and Current Missus Grammer.
Kelsey, though, might have a hard time convincing a judge he should have sole custody. The children live in LA with their mother, while he lives in Chicago with the Fourth Missus...or Fifth? In fact, to be fair, Camille wanted to split custody, but that's hard when you live 2,000 miles apart.
How does Dad pick them up after school? In a Lear jet landing on the football field?

Hell hath no fury like a woman, or Charlie Sheen, scorned.
He has taken about a nanosecond to mock the decision to replace him on 'Two and a Half Men' with Ashton Kutcher. He has called the 'That '70s Show' alum a "sweetheart" but says the choice will bring the show down.
Really? I don't know if I buy that, because for years, drugs and hookers and rehab and bad press didn't bring the show down.
A friend of Charlie's--and by friend I mean coke-smuggling-porn-star--says, "He really thought that he would be invited back. After years of suffering no consequences for his behavior, why would he think anything else? Finally it has sunk in that he doesn't live by different rules to everyone else. Actions do have a consequences."
For his part, Ashton, while doing cartwheels and planning on how to spend his weekly five-figure salary, has been polite, saying "I can't replace Charlie Sheen but I'm going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!"
Of course, drug-and-bipolar-fueled Charlie responded with, "Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I!! Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there."
Yeah, it sounds like he's really trying to get his job back.
Winning!

Andy Dick used to be a TV star.
Now he stars in mug shots and bad press.
The latest shocker? Andy Dick is in trouble again for ALLEGEDLY crossing the line with a comedy fan down in Texas, who says, in a lawsuit, of course, that, during a show, Dick took out his dick, and put it on the man's head.
Andy Dick. Dick. Dickhead.
Just wanted to get them all out.
Robert Tucker, who filed his suit this week in Dallas County, says that back in December, he went to see Andy Dick's live comedy show, but wasn't at all entertained. He ALLEGES that the comedian was singing in a blond wig, black camisole and loose red skirt, and then came off-stage to mingle with the crowd. That's when the Dick's dick appeared.
It seems that Tucker, who stated the show wasn't very good, asked Andy Dick for an autograph while Dick was in the crowd, and, ALLEGEDLY, the comic replied to Tucker's request by sidling up close and kneeling on a tall bar stool, before opening the skirt, reveling that he was going commando, and then gently laid his genitals on Tucker's head.
Andy's Dick Dickhead.
The lawsuit explains: "Defendant Dick then, while still controlling Plaintiff's head with his hand, forced his genitals against the left side of Plaintiff's face." Tucker's lawsuit cites defamation of conduct and infliction of emotional distress, and seeks unspecified damages, or, at the very least, a phone call from Dick.
And flowers. Flowers would be nice.

I Ain't One To Gossip, But........

Charlie Sheen unlocked the door to his subbasement of crazy this week.
It seems that right after Charlie went nuts the last time, and then took his crazy to the airwaves and got fired from his job, he was fond of calling ex-wife, and mother to two of his children, Denise Richards, "fabulous" and "smoking hot."
He also said that he loves her "to death."
Now he's changed that statement, saying he'd love her to die.
His mood went from love to hate because of the unconscionable thing Denise Richards did: she rebuffed his request to allow their daughters, Sam and Lola, to be a part of that drugged-out, manic, crazy-fueled Dateline special.
Now, Charlie has taken to his Twitter feed--shouldn't his be called Nit-witter? Think about it--to call the once-'fabulous' Denise a "traitor and loser whore" and "dog thief."
Dog thief? How dare he!
A source--and by source I mean the porn star who holds the crack pipe for Charlie when he's too high to do it himself--says, "Denise didn't steal the dogs, he gave them back to her...[and they]...were in horrendous shape. He doesn't want the dogs, he wants to fight!"
And he did fight, Twatting: "We must bombard with Warlock Napalm, that traitor and loser whore #DUH-neese POOR-ards. a vile kidnapper and now dog thief. hate."
What's odd, and really, what isn't odd about Charlie Sheen these days, is that the dogs were actually Denise's dogs, but after she and Sheen divorced she let him keep them at his house so that when their daughters came to visit, "they would feel more at home." She only took them back after his NYC-Hooker-In-A-Cupboard escapade, and one of the dogs has since died.
One of these people is a parent, the other is a crazed, drug-addicted menace.

Hey, why shouldn't she?
Diddy did it. So did Madonna and Prince. Cher was probably the first--unless you count Jesus. But Liza's done it, and GaGa will no doubt soon be doing it, too.
So why shouldn't Lindsay Lohan?
It seems that La Lohan is sick of having a tie to her wack-nut father, and now wants to surgically remove the Lohan from her name, and forever be known as Lindsay.
A source--and by source, I mean Dina Lohan,Lindsay's enabler, and the spender of all the Lindsay money that still comes in from ventures like the Lohan Leggings and such--says, "Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay. Plus, me and [younger daughter] Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan."
Oh, Dina, you self-obsessed hack; you'll never change your name back to Sullivan. You'll keep the Lohan, because how else will anyone know who you are?
Well, you could change your name to Dina Famewhore.
Dina Spongingoffherdrugaddictkids.
Dina Doesn'twork.
Dina Moron.
Moron works because it sounds like Lohan.
Meanwhile, Back at Lindsay Lohan.
A family friend--and by friend, I mean the guy that distracts the jewelry store clerk while Lindsay fills her bag with necklaces--says, "So many of the greatest [sidenote: sorry to interrupt, but is he calling Lindsay one of the greatest? Tee hee] people in showbiz are known by just their first name. Look at Oprah and Beyonce. Now you can add Lindsay to that list. And it's a way for them all to start over. No one in the family want anything to do with Lindsay's father [Michael Lohan] anymore and that includes sharing a last name."
After all is said and done, I think we will be calling Lindsay Lohan by a single name:
Prisoner.

Don't you hate it when you get engaged and plan a fabulous wedding and buy a beautiful white dress and get your hurr did and nails done and fresh makeup troweled on and someone comes to your nuptials and steals the show?
Then you must know how Reese Witherspoon feels.
It seems that this past weekend Reese tied the knot with Jim Toth. And she wanted her friends, and, of course, the Hollywood A-listers, to share in her joy. But dammit it all to hell, Reese was upstaged at her own wedding by the arrival of new supercouple, Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn.
A source--and by source, I mean the bridesmaid who broke the news to Reese--says, "Scarlett is Jim's client, but no one, including the bride, knew she would have turned up with Sean Penn. Turning up at a wedding with your boyfriend is definitely a huge statement, especially that wedding. What it's doing is announcing to the whole of Hollywood that they are serious."
Now, rather than everyone talking about the blushing bride and her new second husband, all mouths are agape about Scarlett and Sean.
Always a bride, never the center of attention, eh Reese?

Table-flipping,face-punching, foul-mouthed, bankruptcy-filing, one-head--look at her, that's no forehead, it's a one-head--'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice is dealing with yet another headache involving her husband.
It seems Joe Giudice, Teresa's numbskulled, thicknecked husband, was arrested at the family's New Jersey--soon to be auctioned off to pay bills--home last week, and charged with fraudulently obtaining a state driver's license.
Joe could face more than ten years behind bars.
That sound you hear is Teresa flipping a table.
It seems that last year, thug-lite Joe ALLEGEDLY went to the motor vehicles department, presented his brother's identification materials--ALLEGEDLY his own brother's marriage license and birth certificate--and got a driver's license for his own use.
Now, why would serial loser Joe need to do that, eh?
His own license had been suspended. And , the wonder daddy of four served eight days of a ten-day sentence last fall for driving with a suspended license. The license was first suspended in January 2010, when Joe crashed his car in the wee hours of the morning.
What a lovely man. Drunkard. DUI'er. Impersonator of his own brother.
And what about that lovely wife if his. Where was Teresa when Joe was arrested? Well, she had a scheduled appearance at a casino in the Pocono's--I believe it was in one of those 'Poke A Fame Obsessed Reality Star booths--so she had her family post bail for her husband.
In fact, on Twitter, or, like Charlie Sheen when it's Teresa Giudice, it should be Nit-witter, she didn't even acknowledge her husband's arrest: "Hanging out with my honey at Mt Airy Casino. Just finished dinner now we are going to check out the scene."
And see about getting a fake ID, eh Joe?

Nearly two years after he shoved his face into a piece of scenery during the Tony Awards, Bret Michaels has decided to sue the program.
In a lawsuit targeted at Tony Awards Productions, CBS and a boat load of others, for unspecified [i.e. scads] damages and costs. Michaels says he “suffered a near fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage."
Odd, because at the time he said he just had to get stitches for a cut lip.
His lawsuit goes on to say that "[t]hrough his sheer will to live, see his children grow up, Michaels was able to survive this trauma. Although he put a brave face on for the public, the fact is that the injury left Michaels clinging for his life and in excruciating agony. It was only through months of hard work and dedication – that continue to this day – that Michaels has been able to resume some semblance of his life and career.”
Hmmm, after that horrendous smack in the face by a screen, didn't he appear on The Hair's reality show? And wasn't he on every single talk show, rattling on about his brain injury and how he battled back from the brink of death without ever once mentioning that his traumatic head banging was a result of the Tony Awards faulty screen lowering?
Me thinks someone has huge medical bills to pay, and he wants Tony to cough up the dough.
Someone oughta smack him in the head.

Chris Brown.
He beats up his girlfriend and gets a little fine and some community service, along with a couple of anger management courses.
M'kay.
Then he goes and ALLEGEDLY 'rihanna's' his dressing room at Good Morning America last week because Robin Roberts dared to ask him about the beating of his ex-girlfriend.
Now, probably the worst thing that could happen tot his poor man, is he is being snubbed by a couple of celebrity dancers on 'Dancing With The Stars'.
Oh, the humanity!
It seems Brown got a chilly welcome from some of the celebrities when he performed in the ballroom this week, especially from Kirstie Alley, Wendy Williams and domestic abuse victim, Cheryl Burke, who said, "As a victim of domestic violence, I don't agree with him coming on the show, but it's out of my control."
I agree, he isn't, or maybe wasn't, a good guy, but do we hold that grudge forever, or do we move on?
And Wendy Williams--whom I love for the fact that she doesn't know when to keep quiet--has been quite vocal about her dislike for Chris ever since he attacked then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. After his 'GMA' blowup, she said on her talk show that she was "disgusted with this little boy."
I imagine she was more than chilly when he showed up on DWTS.
Kirstie Alley, while she get her yap closed, except when she was eating, basically stayed clear away from Brown while he was in the building.
But even show host Tom Bergeron warned that there might be trouble if he had to interview Brown. "I did say to the producers that it might be to their advantage to not have me interview him, because my natural tendency would be to say something."
i understand the disgust.
I understand the anger.
But how long does Chris Brown have to pay for this? Now, don't get me wrong, I don't like the guy, and, had I been a part of the show--[sidenote: I giggle, picturing myself doing the cha cha]--I would have steered clear of him, too.
But I'd'a kept my mouth shut.

You can come to the party in an egg.
You can come to the party in a meat dress.
You can come to the party with a plastic lobster on your head.
But DO NOT get drunk and play the fool at a Lady Gaga birthday party.
We have Adam Lambert to thank for this lesson, and I'm sure there will be a PSA about it soon.....The more you know......shooting star!
It seems that close friends of Gagas--and I believe that means the good folks at Egglands Best and the Meat council--threw her a surprise 25th birthday party at La Cita Bar over the weekend, and Adam Lambert--not one of the official guests...party crasher--came as a guest of Scissor Sisters.
And came drunk. ALLEGDLY.
Perez Hilton who was also at the party--because he's had his enormous pink-haired head up Gaga's ass since day one--says Adam Lambert began some intense fist-pumping and kept beating on the walls until he actually punched a hole in the bar's low ceiling.
A source--and by source I mean the minion who carried Gaga around in an enormous Gucci bag--says, "Adam acted like an animal. He kept jumping up on the tables and chairs and screaming. When they brought the cake out he tried to smear it in Gaga's face and put a doll from the cake in her mouth!"
Then he tried to sing to Gaga.
How.Rude.
Singing. To the birthday girl. At her birthday party. How.Rude.
But, ALLEGEDLY, that was the final straw in Gaga's scarecrow headpiece, and she ordered her security team--AKA The Keebler Elves--to throw Lambert out.
And, as we are all apt to do these days--except me, because I don't Tweet--Lambert later tweeted: "Was trying for celebratory gesture 4 gaga's B- piñata style...instead my fist is all bruised and la cita has a hole in the ceiling. #sloppy".
Indeed.
But I hear his mascara never ran.
Now that's a star!
