ISBL Asshat[s] of The Week: Duncan Hunter, Son and Father, and Sheldon Adelson

I am not a fan of guns, as I’ve said many times before, so it must come as no surprise to anyone that I am also very much an anti-war type of person, too. Now, I understand that there are times when was might be the only answer, but I don’t like it.

Not so one Californian Congressman by the name of Duncan Hunter; oh yeah, he’s a Republican, too, and a member of the House Armed Services Committee, so this whole mess will be not so surprising. Hunter says he hopes the United States doesn't go to war with Iran, but if it happens, well, he’s in favor of a “nuclear option”:

“I don’t think it’s inevitable but I think if you have to hit Iran, you don’t put boots on the ground, you do it with tactical nuclear devices and you set them back a decade or two or three. I think that’s the way to do it with a massive aerial bombardment campaign.”

Blow ‘em all, civilian or not, to smithereens.

Hunter, of course, did not discuss the issue of radioactive fall-out because there is very little chance that it will personally affect him so what does he care. He a Republican, remember. And the son of another war mongering goose-stepping GOP asshat.

Back in Ott-Seven, his father, the ‘original’ Duncan Hunter was running for president for about a half-second. With the inevitable endorsement of Ann Coulter, and alongside also-rans for the White House like Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney, Duncan the Daddy also said that the US should be willing to murder millions of people if we dropped bombs on Iranian nuclear facilities.

And Duncan the Son’s word’s of non-wisdom comes right on the heels of Big Money GOP Donor Sheldon Adelson, who called for dropping nuclear bombs randomly throughout Iran just to scare ‘em a bit.

Duncan Hunter, the Son; Duncan Hunter the Father; Sheldon Adelson the Moron; and all those Californians who voted for Duncan Hunter are this week’s ISBL Asshat of the Week.

What brave souls they are, sitting in their high-powered offices saying we should just drop bombs randomly on people, innocent or not.
