Well, the retribution has begun as Cankles is siccing his DOJ Lapdog Pammy Jo Bondi on his so-called enemies … he’s asking to release the Amelia Earhart files because of Jeffrey Epstein … he’s doxing Democrats … Border Barbie is helping her friends and donors while others suffer … and more. On the upside, Melanie has released a line of Christmas Ornaments … I haven’t seen them but I imagine they were created in the Devil’s Sweatshop with child labor … so let’s go ….

Cankles wants to release the files about Amelia Earhart and there are two possible reasons. One, a donor of his paid him to do it, or … Two, he needs another distraction from the Epstein Files.

Personally, I think that unless Amelia Earhart crashed on Epstein Island, no one cares.

Democrat Representative Mikie Sherrill and other leading Democrats want an investigation into a politically motivated leak by Cankles and the GOP of Sherrill’s unredacted military service records, which included her Social Security number and other personal details, to her GOP opponent in the New Jersey gubernatorial election.

This is the game they’re playing, putting out personal information of their opponents which could endanger their lives and their families.

Mob Boss Cankles is behind this.

For months, the complaints have rolled in from parts of the country hit by natural disasters that FEMA was moving too slowly in sending aid to communities ravaged by floods and hurricanes. Many officials blamed Koncentration Kamp Kristi Noem, whose agency oversees FEMA, after records obtained by ProPublica show how one locality found a way to get FEMA aid more quickly: ask one of Border Barbie’s political donors for help.

Those records show that Noem expedited more than $11 million of federal money to rebuild a historic pier in Naples, Florida that was damaged by Hurricane Ian in 2022, after a major donor contacted her. Noem flew to Naples on a government plane to tour the pier herself, and then had dinner with the donor, local cardiologist Sinan Gursoy.

Noem’s top adviser, and ALLEGED lover Corey Lewandowski, also owns a home in Naples near the pier; Lewandowski is an unpaid staffer—I’m thinking Staffer With Benefits—at DHS serving as Noem’s de facto chief of staff.

Texas GOP Gover Hot Wheels AKA Greg Abbott has signed a bill to restrict which restrooms transgender people can use in government buildings and schools and fines institutions up to $125,000 for violations.

Texas which has seen power grid outages, hurricanes, floods, school shootings, church shooting and all kinds of violence is more concerned about who pees where and not about taking care of the citizens of the state.

When Cankles took office eight months ago, the DOJ 36 experienced attorneys assigned full-time to investigate corrupt politicians and police officers; today it has two. The other thirty-four have either quit under pressure, resigned in protest or been detailed to other matters across the nation.

It’s almost like the Cankles Regime doesn’t want lawyers to look into corruption. I wonder why.

Bill Berrien, a Republican running for governor  of Wisconsin, is a so-called conservative who stands up for family values, and is especially critical of transgender individuals, saying they are engaged in “radical social experimentation.”

But, big surprise,  Berrien’s online footprint tells a different story: on Medium.com Berrien has an account that follows transgender porn star Jiz Lee and the authors of sexually explicit essays, like Octavio Morrison, author of “7 Types of Orgasmic Sensations” and Emma Austin, who has posted items such as “Pegging is A-OK,” and “I Love Getting Jackhammered.” In the past, he “liked” an article on “Polyamory Today” entitled, “My Husband Loves Watching Me Flirt With Another Man.”

Every GOP accusation is an admission, especially given that Berrien has been voraciously trying to scrub his dirty little online secrets.

UPDATE Bill Berrien has ended his Republican campaign for governor.

Exactly two months after Cankles signed his so-called Big Beautiful Bill a Virginia health care company blamed the law for the closure of three rural clinics serving communities along the Blue Ridge Mountains. The closures, Augusta Medical Group said in its statement, were part of the company’s “ongoing response to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and the resulting realities for healthcare delivery.”

Keep this in mind as we move ahead and vote; the GOP passed this bill and now people in rural Virginia have far less access to healthcare.

At the UN last week, war criminal and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told fellow world leaders that Israel “must finish the job” against Hamas in Gaza, giving a defiant speech despite growing international isolation over his refusal to end the devastating war in Gaza.

As he spoke dozens of delegates from multiple nations walked out of the General Assembly hall en masse.

The US delegation, which has backed Netanyahu, stayed put but neither the US nor the UK sent their most senior officials or even their UN ambassador to their section.

Hundreds of federal employees who lost their jobs in Leon Skum’s cost-cutting blitz are now being asked to return to work and the General Services Administration has given the employees until the end of the week to accept or decline reinstatement.

No one saw this coming … except for everyone but Cankles and his Minions.

Democrat Adelita Grijalva won a special election for the Arizona congressional seat held by her late father. Grijalva, a former Pima County supervisor and Tucson school board member, captured Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, which includes Tucson, and will serve out the remaining 15 months of her father, Representative Raúl Grijalva’s term after he passed away in March.

On the down side, Little Mike Johnson is putting off swearing her in as she would be another vote to release the Epstein  Files and Little Mike is Cankles' Little Bitch.

The Wall Street Journal, its parent company and Rupert Murdoch asked a federal judge to dismiss Cankles’ $10 billion defamation lawsuit over the publication’s report on his relationship with BFF Jeffrey Epstein.

Cankles claimed that the article could damage the reputation, hold for laughter, of a man who cheated on his first wife with the woman who became his second wife , and the cheated on his second wife with the Slovenian Hooker who became his third wife, and then cheated on his third wife with a porn star, all the while bragging about grabbing women by the pussy and being a sexual predator with Jeffrey Epstein.

Seriously? That reputation?

Participants gathered on the Melbourne Causeway in Florida to shine a Rainbow light on LGBTQ rights with the Light Up Melbourne with Pride event. Participants marched to the top of the causeway and lit it up in support of LGBTQ+ Americans.

This comes on the heels, the Gogo boot heels, of Governor Ronnie DeSantis who has banned the painting on sidewalks and crosswalks in the Rainbow colors.

Sorry, Ronnie, you cannot erase us.

And speaking of Melbourne, Florida … a push to rename a street in Melbourne after conservative activist Charlie Kirk has failed.

The Melbourne City Council voted down the proposal during a tense meeting when council chambers were packed with people who wanted to voice their opinions on Charlie Kirk and whether or not a road in the city should be named after him.

Good.

US District Judge Rita Lin of the Northern District of California has ordered the Cankles Regime to restore $500 million in UCLA medical research grants, halting for now a nearly two-month funding crisis that UC leaders said threatened the future of the nation’s premier public university system.

The opinion added hundreds of UCLA’s NIH grants to an ongoing class-action lawsuit that already led to the reversal of tens of millions of dollars in grants from the National Science Foundation, Environmental Protection Agency, National Endowment for the Humanities and other federal agencies to the University of California.

Lin ruled that the NIH grants were suspended by form letters that were unspecific to the research, a likely violation of the Administrative Procedure Act, which regulates executive branch rulemaking.

This week Cankles’ lapdog FCC Chair Brendan Carr was seen wearing a gold Cankles-Head lapel pin.

Egypt and Ethiopia have argued over an Ethiopian dam project on the Blue Nile, but they were not in a raging war in which thousands of people were being killed.

He also did not stop the conflict between Serbia and Kosovo from resuming because they were also not at war.

The conflict involving the Democratic Republic of Congo and neighboring Rwanda has not actually been resolved.

And India denies that Cankles was responsible for mediating its ceasefire, its truce, with neighboring Pakistan.

So, yeah, he lied … and no one is surprised … but wait, there’s more:

Cankles says grocery prices are down during his presidency but the fact is prices are up and going higher because of his tariffs.

Cankles says inflation has been defeated but the fact is that it’s also accelerating., up 2.9% last month, from 2.7% previously.

Cankles said European electricity bills are high,--which is true—but that ours are coming way down when the fact is electricity bills are up over 6.2% from when Biden was in office.

Cankles claimed that he has secured $17 trillion in investment in the US and yet his own White House Press Secretary, KaroLying Leavitt says it was $9 trillion in investment; did someone lose $8 trillion?

Cankles says China builds a lot of wind turbines and manufactures them for others, but barely uses wind power but, again, the fact is that China is the world leader in the use of wind power.

The man is delusional AF.

After Dr. RFK BrainWorm announced that Tylenol causes autism he pushed a “cure” for it, something called Leucovorin [folic acid]. Of note, is that Dr. Snake Oil Salesman Oz’s supplement company, iHerb, sells  folic acid so it looks like BrainWorm is trying to make coins for Snake Oil.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent pledged to provide “all options for stabilization” to Argentine President Javier Milei as the South American country faces a market selloff in recent weeks. Options include, but aren’t limited to, currency swap lines, direct currency repurchases and US dollar-denominated debt from the Treasury’s exchange stabilization fund.

Funny, he wants to save Argentina’s economy while he destroys the American economy.

Racism, If Not Taught, Is At Least Ignored At McCormick Junior High

Racism is taught, and apparently at schools like McCormick Junior High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming after flyers saying …

“It’s great to be straight it’s not OK to be gay.”

“Black lives only matter because if it weren’t for them who would pick our cotton.”

“Join the KKK”

… were taped to walls and passed out by students.

The school’s principal, Jeff Conine, is downplaying the incident saying there were only two flyers, and that they were taped to walls in areas without security cameras, and that teachers found the flyers and took them down before the school day began.

But what about other reports that say the walls of the school were papered with the flyers, and that students with Confederate flags were passing them out to targeted students in the school’s Gay Straight Alliance [GSA] club?

Conine doesn’t know, or so he says; he told Wyoming Equality Executive Director Sara Burlingame that he was not aware that students had passed out any flyers, according to Cheyenne’s Mayor, Marian Orr, Conine told her that students had been handing out flyers.

Oops. Hate is taught, and then covered up?

Conine still maintains his story, though he did confirm a student shouted the word “faggot” at GSA students during a meeting but says he ‘scolded” that student.

A scolding doesn’t stop hate.

Conine said the day’s events were still under investigation and couldn’t say what the repercussions would be for those responsible until they were found. The most severe punishment he is authorized as principal to deliver is a 10-day out-of-school suspension.

For hate; time for the haters to gather and pan their next assault.

Conine also said he believes this was an isolated incident and yet the 40 members of McCormick’s GSA club, and the club’s co-sponsor, Kaycee Cook, a substitute teacher, say nearly all of them have reported bullying this year.

Cook claimed that students have been flashing confederate flags and yelling homophobic slurs at GSA students for weeks. In fact, it was so bad that she reported the bullying to district administrators three weeks ago but was told the incidents did not fall under their purview, and her claims were dismissed. She also says Principal Conine had been informed of the bullying, and that these recent events were not isolated. GSA students have even reported bullying from some teachers who refuse to use students’ preferred pronouns and have called same-sex students holding hands “disgusting.”

Hate is taught; and one way to teach hate is to do nothing when it rears its ugly head, and that’s what seems to be happening at this school. The bullied are being ignored, while the bullies go unpunished.

Cutting Off Your Nose To Spite Your Face, Pt 2: School Considers Banning All Clubs Because ... Gay Club

So, this morning it was all about the city of Stockton, California, cancelling a citywide Easter Celebration because event organizers “accidentally” invited an LGBT-inclusive church to attend, and now we move to Franklin County, Tennessee where school board members are considering the banning of all students groups because it will force a recently formed Gay-Straight Alliance [GSA] to disband.

Uh huh. The GSA at Franklin County High School has faced nothing but opposition since its first meeting just a few weeks ago; some parents compared the group to ISIS, seriously, while, at the school, students defaced the group’s posters and started wearing “straight pride” signs as a protest. Then these wingnuts, homophobes, bigots and illiterates played the “radical gay agenda” card and said the purpose of the GSA was to recruit children.

Uh huh. But, there’s something called the federal Equal Access Act, and so school officials cannot shut down the group … unless they also ban each and every other extracurricular group, from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to the Student Council.

So, punish all the kids because a GSA has been formed to create a dialogue between gay and straight students, so they can understand one another better. Little Johnny cannot be in the Baptists Bully Club and Betty Sue cannot be President of the Student Council because of The Gays.

Now, that does seem like an unfair way to handle the situation, you know, punishing all the kids because you’re bigots and homophobes, but school board Chairman Kevin Caroland says that is their strategy:

“We discussed last night our policies and procedures and the possibility of getting rid of all clubs, and what all that would entail.”

The GSA took to Facebook to rally support for their group …

… while, at the meeting, opponents of the club waved Christian flags and warned about the dangers of “fisting, rimming and anal sex.”

Uh huh. And so Chairman Kevin Caroland said:

“We’re trying to spell out for the community what would happen if we shut down all clubs. I think the community needs to be educated on what the consequences are of doing that. We’re just trying to get it all laid out so nobody’s surprised by anything.”

Well, I know what would happen; all of the students at the school who belong to any kind of extracurricular club would be punished because of the bigotry of their parents who cannot accept the fact that GSAs here, and they’re queer, and they’d like everyone to get along.

But that’s a bad thing in Franklin County, Tennessee.

Last week I posted about Jadin Bell's attempted suicide by hanging after being pushed to do so by bullies at his school and on the Internet. His parents made the decision to take Jadin off life support and he died Monday morning.

I am not a consumer of fast food; I like to cook, and, well, I like to save money so eating at some place with a drive-thru isn't conducive to either one of those things.

Neither is the idea that I might be getting horsemeat in my burger.

After weeks of deny-deny-deny, Burger Kings has finally admitted that if you had a Whopper at one of their UK restaurants, you probably ate horse.

Just when you think the GOP isn't overrun by backwards thinking, petulant schoolboys with Little Penis Syndrome, comes news that one such Republican, Montana state representative, Jerry O’ Neil is actually sponsoring a bill that would give felons the option of receiving a spanking over incarceration. 

I don't mean a slap on the wrist so it surer sounds like it.

No, while the legislation would cover not just misdemeanor crimes, it will also cover felonies. In fact, it appears the bill requires that the “exact nature of the corporal punishment to be imposed” be directly related to the severity and nature of the crime committed. 

I can hear the judge now, 'Will the defendant please rise, go out to the front of the courthouse and bring a switch back from the willow tree."

Unless of course, you're a felon, then it'll be, "Fetch me my belt."

For the record, O’Neil has also requested to have his legislative salary in gold and silver, wrongfully interpreting a provision of the U.S. Constitution that prevents states from minting their own paper currency.

It sounds more like he'd be happy to get his pay in Skittles.

I didn't hear a lot of singing come out of Beyoncé's mouth, but she grabbed her crotch and licked her finger before running it between her breasts; she shook her booty and she whipped her hair in a way Willow Smith would call reckless.

Plus, it wasn't so much a performance as it was a pyrotechnics show with mirrors.

So, earlier this week I posted about Aaron Klein, of Sweet Cakes by Melissa in Gresham, Oregon, who refused to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex wedding because, you know, God said so.

Well, now Baltimore-based pastry chef and "Ace of Cakes" star Duff Goldman has offered to bake a cake for the couple and bring it to them for free:

"I saw this story and I was like, “Wait -- I can do something, there’s injustice involving a cake! For a cake decorator to really feel like he really needed to take a stand…it just makes absolutely no sense. It’s petty, it’s small…this man has wrapped up his hatred in the cloak of religion.”

It should be noted that Charm City has been making same-sex wedding cakes for years.

Speaking of the Superbowl....

I saw the interview with 49er's quarterback, Colin Kaepernick. What a charming, humble young man; what an adorable smile.

Yesterday, the Illinois Senate Executive Committee passed the SB10, the Religious Freedom and Marriage Equality Act, out of committee on a vote of 9 to 5. Senate President John Cullerton, a leading supporter of marriage equality, has announced he will call the floor vote on February 14.

Rick Garcia, Director of the Equal Marriage Illinois Project:

"We are all very excited to see this bill move forward. We are looking forward to a full vote in the Senate and we expect it to pass. It should be a very welcome Valentine's Day gift for the thousands of couples and families that are anxiously awaiting the passage of this bill. The momentum continues to build in Illinois."

Jim Bennett, Midwest Regional Director of Lambda Legal: 

"The day when loving, committed same-sex couples in Illinois can marry feels imminent, and Lambda Legal is energized by this vote. Our state is ready to become the tenth state where same-sex couples have the freedom to marry, and we urge people across the state to call their senators and urge them to vote in favor of the bill when it comes to a vote as early as next week.  It's just time." 

It's moving ahead, people.

They are so afraid of Gay-Straight Alliance [GSA] clubs in the Lake County School District that the school board is deciding they might want to ban all clubs.

Yes, because a 14 year-old middle school student wanted to form a GSA in response to bullying at his school, the board will say goodbye to the Chess Club, the Drama Club, and the Debate Club.

Lest a gay kid want to start a GSA.

This is education in Florida.

Punish every student because of your own homophobia.

Those who wish to ban all clubs are: Bill Mathias, Debbie Stivender and Chairwoman Kyleen Fischer who want to ban all extra-curricular clubs in secondary schools, and Tod Howard and Rosanne Brandeburg who want to ban all extra-curricular clubs only in middle schools.

I think we should ban these people from ever being part of a school board.

Tennessee High School Principal Assaults Student For Wearing T-Shirt Supporting Gay-Straight Alliance

Up there in Tennessee, which seems to be the latest hotbed of anti-LGBT activity, Chris Sigler, a 17-year-old senior at Sequoyah High School, was ALLEGEDLY shoved, bumped in the chest and verbally harassed by his principal for wearing a T-shirt in support of efforts to establish a gay-straight alliance (GSA) club on campus.

Now, the American Civil Liberties Union and the ACLU of Tennessee is involved and has sent a letter to the school district today demanding that students’ rights to free speech be protected in the classroom.

The ACLU has been assisting Chris Sigler, in his and other students’ efforts to establish a GSA at Sequoyah, but Principal Maurice Moser has continually threatened to punish students who circulated petitions about the club. On the day of his attack by the principal, Chris Sigler was wearing a T-shirt he made, that said: “GSA: We’ve Got Your Back.”

How out of control.

One of Sigler's teachers ordered him to cover up the shirt in the future, but Chris knew he had the right to wear it, and he did, that following Friday. He was then ordered to remove the shirt, and he refused. He says that Principal Maurice Moser then ordered all students out of the classroom, except for Sigler’s sister Jessica, who refused to leave.

Then, according to brother and sister, Moser grabbed Chris Sigler by the arm, shoved him, and chest-bumped him repeatedly while asking “Who’s the big man now?” 

Um, that would not be you, Principal Maurice Moser. Not by a long shot.

When Chris Sigler’s mother--who had been called about her son--arrived, she found Chris seated at a desk with Principal Moser leaning over him and shouting in her son’s face. The Siglers filed a report that afternoon with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.

It's bad enough when students bully students, or when teachers are inappropriate, but a principal shouting "Who's the big man now?" is reprehensible.

Chris Sigler: “All I want is to have a GSA at my school to help stop the bullying against gays and lesbians and their friends who support them/ The shirt was a way to use my voice and show my support for the club. The way I was treated shows even more why we need a GSA here.”

Amanda Goad, staff attorney with the ACLU Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Project: “All students deserve a safe and respectful learning environment. Harassment, abuse or censorship of any student – regardless of sexual orientation – is absolutely reprehensible as well as illegal. We expect the police to investigate this quickly and fairly, and take statements from all witnesses who were present.”

Hopefully, the school can form a GSA and people like Principal Maurice Moser will be exposed as bigots and homophobes and bullies.

Homophobia Punishes Everybody

In an effort to block the organization of a Gay-Straight Alliance [GSA] club, a Corpus Christi school district has decided to disband every single club at every single school in the district.

Everyone gets punished because of homophobia.

The Flour Bluff Intermediate School District's move comes after one of its high schools gained national attention by blocking senior Bianca "Nikki" Peet's request to start a GSA at Flour Bluff High School. But Flour Bluss ISD Superintendent, Julie Carbajal, said there is no chance the district will approve a proposed GSA, and then decided to cancel all extracurricular activites on school campuses. She did, however, give the student group, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the go ahead to meet off campus until they can determine if they are adhering to the 2005 school policy that only student groups tied to curricula are allowed.

By cancelling ever single club at every single school, the Flour Bluff Intermediate School District hopes to sidestep the Equal Access Act--a federal aw enacted in 1984 that requires schools receiving federal funding to offer "fair opportunities for students to form student-led extracurricular groups, regardless of their religious, political and philosophical leanings."  The Flour Bluff Intermediate School District maintains that they do not have to follow the Equal Access Law.

Paul Rodriguez, President of the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Gay Straight Alliance, said, of the Flour Bluff ISD decision yesterday: "What a sad, sad day in Corpus Christi. Hatred and intolerance prevails in Flour Bluff ISD. Rather than allowing the Gay-Straight Alliance to form at FBHS, Administrators have chosen the alternative route of dis-allowing ALL non-curricular clubs to meet on campus. Not only has this district turned its back on the students who could benefit from a GSA, but now has alienated the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and other non-curricular clubs on campus as well."

Nice. Punish everyone so you can maintain your homophobia and bigotry and discrimination in a public school district.

The HCDSB Changes It's Tune.....Slightly

It was a little more than a week ago that i posted the story of the Halton Catholic District School Board [HCDSB] in Canada not allowing a Gay/Straight Alliance [GSA][ to be formed at their schools because, well, they don't allow Nazi's to form groups either [original post HERE].
Yes, gays and Nazi's are apparently very similar to the HCDSB.
Well, now it seems that, after many vocal complaints and protests, they may have changed their minds, though the board’s new equity policy may still discriminate against gays.

Former HCDSB student James Hopkins gave trustees a picture of what it’s like growing up gay in small town Ontario, and says he plans to pressure the Ministry of Education to push for one equity and inclusive education policy for all school boards.
Catholic and otherwise.
Hopkins: “Day in, day out, I suffered. What I, and so many other gay youth, experience is not an act of hatred, but one of fear. Without exposure [to gay people], how do we fight ignorance?”
And then, iIn a 6-2 vote, trustees decided to rescind the ban on GSAs and shelve the equity and inclusive education policy. While a new policy is being drafted, the board will use the Catholic “template"--a version of Ontario’s equity policy that’s written specifically for English Catholic boards.
Originally Halton wasn't satisfied with the Catholic template, so they made a few edits, like removing words like "sexual orientation" and "gender" and then altogether banning GSAs.
Board chair, Alice Anne Lemay, when asked whether or not the board will allow groups to be called gay-straight alliance clubs, refused to answer: “I can’t answer that tonight, the policy will go to senior administration and will be implemented in the schools.”
See, it's all in the word gay, because if you use the word gay then kids might start thinking they're gay and then you'll have an infestation of gay kids looking for acceptance and tolerance and a place to go where they can be themselves and, well, for the HCDSB, that's just wrong.
I think they believe that Catholic kids, because they go to Catholic Church and Catholic schools, will not ever be gay; it must be those other religions, and those atheists, that produce the queer children.
And, even thought the ban has now been lifted, the HCDSB may follow suit with other Catholic school boards and adopt a broad “diversity group” policy, creating space for anti-discrimination groups, which allow students to discuss a number of social justice issues, such as racism, sexism, poverty and homophobia.

It Gets Better, But Not At The Halton Catholic District School Board

You gotta love how people feel about the LGBT community.

I mean, Sally Kerns think we have the power to ruin the economy, and that we are worse than terrorists. And Cindy Jacobs thinks because we are getting small doses of equality, via the repeal of DADT, and the hoped for repeal of Prop H8, that we are responsible for the mass bird and fish deaths, and that California will split in two from an earthquake, becoming, not Northern and Southern California, but apparently Gay and Straight California.

But what isn't so funny, is how these people actually believe what they say. And then spread their hatred far and wide in an attempt to deny equality, in an attempt to promote intolerance and bigotry.

Now, up there in Canada, with their marriage equality and health care, comes news that, while the Ontario Ministry of Education thinks Gay/Straight Alliances [GSAs] are important, the Halton Catholic District School Board takes a different view. 

To them GSAs are harmful and must be banned. In fact, GSAs are as harmful as, wait for it, Nazi groups. I wonder just how many Nazi/Not Nazi Alliance groups have basked for the right to meet in Halton Catholic School District schools.

Board chair, and utter delusional wingnut, Alice Anne LeMay, actually said: “We don’t have Nazi groups either. Gay-straight alliances are banned because they are not within the teachings of the Catholic Church.” 

Neither apparently is tolerance and understanding and acceptance, but then according to LeMay's logic, and the view of the Catholic Church as pedophile heaven, maybe child rape is one of God's teachings, because it seems to be tolerated quite nicely.

Michael Pautler, education director of the Halton Catholic District School Board, also tried to explain the ban: “Anybody can have input into the process as the policy is being developed, but ultimately the language at the end of the process is approved collectively.”

Oh, so it's the language? The word 'gay'? Well, then let's find something more appropriate, like, oh, I don't know, the Forever Burning In Hell/Saved By The Light Of Jesus Alliance?

Better?

And the Pautler justifies the board's decision by saying the Ontario ministry’s equity and inclusive education policy only proposes GSAs as “one possibility” to fight homophobia, though when asked to think of just one more possible way to fight homophobia, Pautler says.....

Crickets.

Until he comes up with, “All students that attend school should be able to feel free of harassment and are protected from any forms of persecution or anything that makes them feel marginalized.”

Unless they belong to as group with the word 'gay' in the title.

Paulter believes groups can celebrate diversity, but have "broader focus on inclusion," or as he adds, celebrate "diversity as opposed to focusing on any one particular expression of diversity.”

Diversity is good, just focus on all diversities, and leave the word 'gay' out of it.

Why should we expect more from a church like that?
