I saw his win and the whole thing, from his expression to the faces in the audience was just sheer joy. I have never seen his show, never even heard of it actually, but the joy … aaaaaaah.

Green said he came to the decision in part because a similar order was not given for other victims of political violence, specifically Minnesota Democratic lawmaker Melissa Hortman, who with her husband was killed in June.

Kirk's assassination is a dark time in America when you have one political party trying to glorify and sanctify and celebrate hate and it’s a direct result of allowing the United States of Guns to push guns over children, citizens, politicians, and rightwing podcasters.

If we want to create a safer, more peaceful America we need to see the things that Kirk said and spread as hate speech, albeit Free Speech.

I don't know if you all heard this, but in the [Felon]-Putin meeting, [The Felon] delivered a letter to Putin written by his wife [Melanie] and I'm going to read some of it to you because I think we should think about this, okay? So she writes in this letter, part of it:

Undeniably, we must strive to paint a dignity filled world for all so that every soul may wake to peace and so that the future itself is perfectly guarded. A simple yet profound concept Mr. Putin as I am sure you agree, is that each generation's descendants begin their lives with a purity and innocence which stands above geography, government, and ideology.’

Ignoring the painfully inept prose of ]Melanie]'s letter and the clumsy fumbling for poetic sounding phrases, it has to be pointed out deeply naive this letter was. Putin is a brutal, murderous dictator who has been waging a bloody war of territorial expansion for years now. The idea that he might be swayed by a poorly written letter by a First Lady with no diplomatic experience and no meaningful accomplishments is laughable. This was clearly an attempt by [Melanie] to nab headlines and make herself feel important. [But] … let's think about those words: a right to innocence and purity that stands about government, geography and ideology. And think about what her husband, what [The Felon] is doing to the children of immigrants in America and to U.S. citizen children of immigrants. How many of those children are living with the fear of their parents being dragged through the streets of America, their car windows smashed in, their parents beaten by masked men, and disappeared? How about the children in the LA school system that have been grabbed by ICE? How about the boy, the Brazilian boy in Massachusetts who was going to soccer practice when he was grabbed by ICE? How about the little girl with cancer, U.S. citizen little girl with cancer, whose parents were deported and she had to leave, putting in jeopardy her cancer treatment? How about all of the children in America—forget the children of immigrants even though that in itself sticks in my craw—but the children in America who are being denied SNAP benefits? How about the children all over the world who are not receiving U.S. aid because her husband's government decided that we shouldn't be feeding starving children all over the world? How about all of those kids? So, yeah, it strikes me as ridiculously hypocritical that [Melanie] is telling Putin to preserve the innocence and purity of Ukrainian children. Yay for her! That's a good thing. But you know maybe she should turn around and say the exact same thing to her husband because there are children in America crying, suffering, going to bed in fear, returning to homes that are abandoned and empty, not knowing where their next meal is coming from because of what her husband is doing. I say to [Melanie], start a little closer to home girl."

Ana, as usual, nails the ignorance and hypocrisy of Melanie … though we all know she never wrote that letter; it was clearly AI, and not Slovenian Hooker angling for a bigger chunk of cash in the prenup.

Chris Van Hollen, Democrat Senator from Maryland, spoke with El Salvador’s Vice President Félix Ulloa about the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a man sent there by The Felon’s regime despite an immigration court order preventing his deportation:

“Why is the government of El Salvador continuing to imprison a man where they have no evidence that he’s committed any crime and they have not been provided any evidence from the United States that he has committed any crime? They should just let him go. We have an unjust situation here. [The Felon’s] administration is lying about Abrego Garcia. The American courts have looked at the facts. I will keep pressing in my remaining time here and I will keep pressing beyond that.”

The Felon will not allow him back because it will make him look like even more of an inept, unqualified, lump of gelatinous flab with no brain cells firing in that fat head of his.

UPDATE: Yesterday Senator Chris Van Hollen met with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man wrongly deported to El Salvador last month.

But, moments before Hollen posted his message and image, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele posted three additional photos from the meeting and said:

"Now that he’s been confirmed healthy, he gets the honor of staying in El Salvador’s custody."

Apparently because The Felon is paying Bukele to keep Garcia there.

"I was 16 years old at the beginning of the AIDS crisis. We didn't have the luxury to hide. We didn't have the luxury to not be active. We had to go straight to the front lines to fight for our lives, and that's exactly what we did. We came together as a community, we fought back, and we succeeded in. Yes, the world changed because we came together. [And] we're now in a position where we must come together again. We must fight the forces of evil that are trying to destroy us. The one thing that I do know, and the one message that I try to exude everywhere I go, is that the change has already happened. We don't have any time for fear ... There's no need for fear. There's no room for silence. We speak, we write, we do language. This is how civilizations heal. I'm an artist; the only way I know how to do it is through my art. I am grateful that I can do it through my art. I am grateful that the people are receiving that, that you are receiving what it is that I'm trying to do. … Coming from the civil rights movement, you know, there's a song called 'A Change Is Gonna Come.' I love that song, but the change came, and the change went. What are we gonna do now? It's time for all of us to come together and figure out what 'going high' looks like in this new world order. It is not 1963. We cannot use the same tactics. I am not a politician, so I don't know what the answer is. But it's not what we're doing now. It's time to re-engage. It's time to pay attention again. It's time to get in these streets again. This is not a parade, it's a march. That's what it was when we started. This march [is] political."

I found a joke on Facebook and thought it funny and decided to share it with Carlos; it went like this:

“A priest, a minister and a rabbit walk into a bar, and the rabbit says. … ‘I think I’m a typo.’”

Carlos says: “A type O?”

I had to explain it to him. Cut to a few hours later and he comes to me with jokes of his own:

“Two atoms are walking down the street when they run into each other. The first says to the second, ‘Are you all right? You don't look so good.’

The second atom says: ‘I'm not feeling very well. I lost an electron!’

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm positive!"

And he follows that up with:

“A chicken crossed the road and went into a bar.”

I ask if that’s the whole joke and he says:

“Nope, it’s a completely different joke.”

Feel my pain.

This week Mississippi GOP Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith blocked a Senate bill to protect IVF treatment on a federal level saying it was an issue that should be left up to the states. But she had another reason: she said … on the floor of the Senate … that the bill “would legalize the creation of human-animal chimeras.”

You cannot make this shiz up.

A Thing 45 supporter, seated next to an older woman on an airplane, turned to her and said, “Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.”

The old woman, who had just started to read her book, asked: “What would you want to talk about?”

“Oh, I don’t know. How about how they stole the election in 2020 and _____ should be president.”

The woman replied: “Those could be interesting topics but let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff—grass—yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?”

The man was surprised by the old woman’s question, and said, “I have no idea.”

And the woman replied, “Do you really feel qualified to discuss politics, when you don’t know shit?”

Texas Tech defensive back Tyler Owens is considered one of the fastest prospects in the 2024 NFL draft class. I guess it’s good that he has those talents because Owens also said he doesn’t “believe in space” or “other planets” and subscribes to flat-earth theories that he finds “interesting” and that have “valid points.”

Clearly he’s spent most of his life on the field and very little in class.

MAGAts spend a lot of time talking about their patriotism and it was on full display at the latest Thing 45 rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, when the woman asked to sing the National Anthem forgot the words; she was followed up by a man chosen to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and he, too, forgot the words.

Just sayin’.

I saw this on Facebook … and it’s brilliant. If you have not read Eric Swalwell's questions to Hunter Biden during his hearing, here’s a snippet:

SWALWELL: Any time your father was in government, prior to the Presidency or before, did he ever operate a hotel?

BIDEN: No, he has never operated a hotel.

SWALWELL: So he’s never operated a hotel where foreign nationals spent millions at that hotel while he was in office?

BIDEN: No, he has not.

SWALWELL: Did your father ever employ in the Oval Office any direct family member to also work in the Oval Office?

BIDEN: My father has never employed any direct family members, to my knowledge.

SWALWELL: While your father was President, did anyone in the family receive 41 trademarks from China?

BIDEN: No.

SWALWELL: As President and the leader of the party, has your father ever tried to install as the chairperson of the party a daughter-in-law or anyone else in the family?

BIDEN: No. And I don’t think that anyone in my family would be crazy enough to want to be the chairperson of the DNC.

SWALWELL: Has your father ever in his time as an adult been fined $355 million by any State that he worked in?

BIDEN: No, he has not, thank God.

SWALWELL: Anyone in your family ever strike a multibillion-dollar deal with the Saudi Government while your father was in office? 

BIDEN: No.

SWALWELL: That’s all I’ve got.

And that’s all you need.
