I Didn't Say It ...

Pete Buttigieg, former Secretary of Transportation and hopefully a future President of the United States, on The Felon’s moronic response to a plane crash and loss of life:

“Despicable. As families grieve, [he] should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch. [The Felon] now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.”

Sadly, his sociopathy and narcissism won’t allow him to actually lead, or do the right thing, or worry about this happening again.

Resist.

Doechii, at the Grammys winning Best Rap Album—and becoming only the third woman to do so—to the next generation:

"I know that there is some Black girl out there, so many Black women out there that are watching me right now and I wanna tell you, you can do it. Anything is possible. Don't allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you that tell you that you can't be here. You are exactly who you need to be, to be right where you are and I’m a testimony"

All it takes for history to move forward is for someone to take a step.

Chris Murphy, Connecticut Democrat Senator, about the Leon Skum and the USAID crisis:

“We will use every power that we have at our disposal in the United States Senate. My colleagues will do the same thing in the House. This is a constitutional crisis that we are in today. Let’s call it what it is! The people get to decide how we defend the United States of America. The people get to decide how their taxpayer money is spent. Elon Musk does not get to decide. We are weaker today than we were yesterday. China sees that. Russia sees that and they will take advantage. Elon Musk makes billions on his dealings with China and China is cheering at his actions today. Our job and your job together is to raise our voices, raise the alarm so that this crisis is emboldening of our enemies doesn’t last a second longer than it has to.”

The Democrats need to strap on their balls and fight this asshat Skum because nothing he does is for the good of America it’s for the good of his ego and bank account; he needs to be stopped.

Alicia Keys, accepting the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the 2025 Grammys, calling out The Felon’s anti-DEI stance:

“This is not the time to shut down the diversity of voices. We’ve seen on this stage, talented, hardworking people from different backgrounds with different points of view, and it changes the game. DEI is not a threat—it’s a gift. The more voices, the more powerful the sound. When destructive forces try to burn us down, we rise from the ashes like a phoenix and as you see tonight, music is the unstoppable language that connects us all, it’s so beautiful. “It's so beautiful. Keep showing up with compassion, with empathy, what I call soul care. Keep opening the doors. The dreams that the world is ought to be, a dream that the world as is ought to be.”

Standing against DEI is standing for racism and sexism and ageism and homophobia; it’s that simple.

Daniel Dale, CNN fact checker, on The Felon’s lies about DEI and Joe Biden and that crash in DC:

“[He] has made clear he has less than zero evidence that the FAA’s hiring of people with disabilities contributed to yesterday’s crash, so this whole conversation is a non-sequitur. But since he has started the conversation, some facts. The same FAA website language [The Felon] blasted today, about hiring people with intellectual and psychiatric disabilities and other significant ‘targeted’ disabilities, was on the FAA website throughout his first presidency. In addition, the FAA under [his watch] launched and repeatedly promoted a pilot program to hire (capable, qualified) people with targeted disabilities in air traffic control positions. The Department of Transportation has pushed at least since the W. Bush administration to hire more people with targeted disabilities … and the FAA repeatedly said during [his] first term that it’d continue to do so, emphasizing, as it did under Biden, that they’d have to meet the qualifications for the posts. The ‘January 14’ Fox News article [The Felon] cited today as evidence of a last-minute Biden FAA diversity hiring push right before [he] came back to office? It was actually published a year ago—January 14, 2024. Again, it was criticizing the same language that had been on the FAA website since at least 2013.”

What’s this? An actual person working for CNN who still has a spine and speaks up?

Bravo!

Hakeem Jeffries, House Minority Leader, trashing The Felon for his remarks following that deadly crash:

"It’s a very irresponsible statement that was made by the president. Bodies are still being pulled from the Potomac, children were killed, future ice-skating Olympians were killed, future leaders in Wichita, Kansas, and beyond were killed as a result of this tragedy. We don’t need misdirection and we don’t need misinformation coming from the highest office in the land. We need integrity, we need decency, we need leadership. There is not a scintilla of evidence that exists to suggest that women and people of color are to blame for the tragedy that took place. And it was shameful."

There is of course zero truth to The Felon's claims but these lies serve two purposes for him—

First, they excite his racist base who think that women and people of color are inherently inferior and unqualified for important jobs.

Second, they allow The Felon to distract us from the fact that at the time of the crash there was no Federal Aviation Administration leader since the previous holder of that position, Michael Whitaker, was forced out by Elon Musk—who paid $200M for The Felon’s election win—for daring to enforce regulations on SpaceX.

Again, We The People need to get loud, and our Democratic leaders need to get loud, and we need to remind our Democratic leaders that if they aren’t going to stand against this regime, then there will be no money from We The People coming into their campaign coffers.

Don’t ask for my money and then do nothing.

Resist.

I Ain't One To Gossip But ...

This made me laugh!

Kim Kardastrophe was in London last week with Pete Davidson and tried to worm her way into the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at the last minute. But Buckingham Palace knows Kim and how she got to be this version of famous—hint: porn—and gave her the Royal Finger.

And so she headed to the BBC thinking because she’s Kim Kardastrophe, she could get right in and the BBC turned BBK for a hot minute to say Buh Bye Kimmy.

Speaking of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Alicia Keys? Really. I mean, nothing says celebrate the Queen like Keys dashing between two pianos to sing a couple of her hits. But the best part was when Keys said she always thought of London as her second home and so she had a song in mind, and then busted into “Empire State of Mind.”

Huh? An ode to New York reminds you of London? Huh? Many in the crowd were confused as to why Keys chose to perform that song at the British celebration:

“She’s singing about New York in London… She can’t do that.”

“Why is Alicia Keys singing about how amazing New York City is at an event to celebrate the Queen? Maybe choose another song?”

“Although I love the song about New York, you’re in London baby.”

“I love Alicia Keys and everything but if this is meant to be best of British, why are we singing about New York in the middle of London?”

Maybe through osmosis Keys got wind of the confusion, because halfway through the song she started singing ‘London’ instead of ‘New York.’

I guess she finally remembered where she was performing.

Clearly Sarah Jessica Parker, who just last week said Kim Cattrall was never ever coming back to And Just Like That [Nobody Was Watching] realized the only way to draw in an audience was to tease that Samantha was coming home … in a text.

Although SJP, and creator of the show Michael Patrick King, have both said they would not be okay with Cattrall returning to the show, they will use the name Samantha Jones every chance they get to make their diehard fans—both of them—think Samantha’s back because Carrie and Samantha will text, y’all.

Riveting television. SJP and MPK keep running around assuring people that Cattrall will never be on the show, and then they bring her up … on the show!

Let’s end with one Jamie Lee Curtis. She’s not just the Scream Queen from films and sequels like Halloween, she’s a wonderful mother and she does weddings.

Curtis not only watched, but performed the wedding ceremony between her daughter Ruby Guest—who came out as transgender in 2020 —and her partner Kynthia, in a ceremony held in Jamie Lee and husband Christopher Guest’s backyard, and afterwards Jamie Lee was gushing over the happy couple on social media:

“WIFE IS SWEET! Ruby and Kynthia.”

And, again, that’s how you parent.

I Ain't One To Gossip But ...

According to his representatives sixty-year-old Simon Cowell fell off an electric bike and broke his back:
“Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family.”
Should a sixty-year-old really be riding an electric bike? Or should he be on the couch eating soft cheeses, biscuits and tea?

I kid, but it cannot be that bad because Cowell is expected to film America’s Got Talent first live show since the coronavirus pandemic next week.

Perhaps they’ll let him ride out on an electric bike?
Justin Hartley, the Hot Guy from This Is Us—the tittle of Hottest Guy always goes to Sterling K. Brown—is going through some real life drama and, as happens, it has spilled over to a Netflix reality show, Selling Sunset, that stars his estranged wife, Chrishell Stause, second from left.

Justin and Chrishell, each a former soap star, were married for two years when, she says, Justin “blindsided her” by filing for divorce. And because she now has a reality show, she can do what we all want to do, and spill the tea nationwide.

Chrishell revealed that she found out that Justin had filed for divorce … wait for it … it’s so millennial … it’s the new age of communication … through a text. Probably with some middle finger emojis.

Justin, who used to be on Passions and The Young and The Restless was previously married to Lindsay Korman [second from right] who was on Passions, Days of Our Lives, All My Children and General Hospital, before was he married Chrishell, who was on The Young and The RestlessDays of Our Lives, and All My Children.

Justin has now moved on to his former The Young and The Restless co-star Sofia Pernas [far right].

He must use soap operas as his personal Tinder.
For the last several years singer Alicia Keys has been all about going make-up free. But now she is shocked, shocked I say, that her fans are confused her decision to release her own  E.L.F. cosmetics beauty line.

Seriously? You don’t wear makeup because you think people don’t need makeup, but now you wanna sell makeup?

Someone needs coins.
Kane Brown, the 26-year-old country singer, recently bought 30 acres of land in Tennessee and decided to explore it. Sadly, Kane then proceeded to get lost on his own land, get shot at by someone, and ask the police to come rescue him.

In fact, Kane even posted the story to Facebook before being rescued:
“Someone help! I’m lost… ALL JOKES ASIDE… The real story is I moved into a new house. I own 30 acres of 3000 around me. I told my wife I wanted to go check out the property I’ll be 30 minutes… Thirty minutes turned into three hours it started raining turned dark and dropped to 40 degrees… We used GPS to try and get back but it kept taking us to all these cliffs that u can’t drive a 4 wheeler down and I wasn’t about to leave them.”
Kane called his friend Ryan Upchurch, who lives in the area, but Upchurch got lost with Kane, too.
“I called my last resort… [but] now three turned into five of us lost. He has four other friends riding around … and they start getting shot at. My buddy’s girl who has asthma started then freaking out. We HAD to get her out. So we call the cops. The cops arrive and hear the gun shots and think we are shooting at them. We yell at them and tell them we are not armed and made it out.”
Ryan’s version:
“We ended up finding [Kane] in the woods, because me and my brother, you know, we know how like look for trails recently ridden on and shit like that. So we found him. But we run out of gas. We ran out of cell phone service, too. We got lost in the woods with him… When you’re in pitch black and your eyeballs are open and you can’t even see your hand in front of your face, and you’re on thousands of acres that you’ve never even been on before, it’s kinda hard to find your way out… Just sayin’.”
He should’a listened to Dorothy, who got lost too, though not on her own property, in The Wizard of Oz, when she said:
"Well... I think that it ... That it wasn't enough just to want to see Uncle Henry and Auntie Em.  And it's that if  I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any farther than my own back yard because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to begin with."
Just sayin’, Kane.
James Hong has more film and TV credits than nearly anyone in Hollywood, yet he still isn’t considered a bona fide “star” and therefore does not have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Now, a group of fans is trying to change that for Hong, who has been in everything from Seinfeld … “Cartwright? Four?” … to Big Trouble in Little China and Blade Runner … along with about 600 other projects.

Daniel Dae Kim, Lost and Hawaii Five-0, is on board with getting Hong a star, saying:
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: James Hong deserves a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I’ve already started the nomination process. Who’s with me? #StarForJamesHong.”
Some 30 people are selected each year to be added to the Walk of Fame, where the creation and installation of a star costs $50,000 and Daniel Dae Kim has already raised more than enough via a GoFundMe.

Seriously, they used to say James Brown was the hardest working man in show business—and he has a star—so surely James Hong should get one!
