I Didn't Say It

Chasten Buttigieg, husband of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, describing his struggles growing up gay in a small town:

“When I was growing up in conservative rural Michigan, I thought I was the only gay person in the world. I thought something was twisted and wrong with me. I thought something in my DNA was compromised, and I spent 18 years of my life hating this fact about me [but] when you embrace the qualities about yourself that make you weird or make you different or make you feel like you stand out from the crowd, you start to see what actually makes you truly powerful and unique and beautiful. [You see] you’re not defined by the opinions of other people.”

You make yourself; other people don’t get to create you and put you in a box of their making. You make yourself, and once you learn that, and become all right with yourself and who you are, the rest of the world falls away.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, racist and traitor to America, telling reporters that at a recent New York City protest rally against Thing 45, Democrat Congressman Jamaal Bowman was “shouting at the top of his lungs, cursing, calling me a horrible—calling me a white supremacist;”

“That is like calling a person of color the N word which should never happen. Calling me a white supremacist is equal to that and that is wrong. I think there’s a lot of concern about Jamaal Bowman, so and I am concerned about, I feel threatened by him. He not only let a mob there, but his boisterous lies. I am very concerned about Jamaal Bowman, and he’s someone that people should watch.”

Hey Marge, being called a white supremacist only bothers you because it’s true. And, just so you know, it is nothing like using the n-word. Nothing. You’re offended because it was a person of color who called you a white supremacist because he sees you, and hears your words, and knows what they mean.

So it might be better if you simply STFU.

photo

Jamaal Bowman, New York Democrat Congressman, responding to that attack from Large Marge, which many are calling racist:

“Marjorie Taylor Greene at her press conference this morning said something incredibly dangerous and incredibly reckless about me, talking about my demeanor as being ‘aggressive’ and saying that she feels ‘intimidated’ by me. Unfortunately, this country has a history of characterizing Black men who are outspoken, who stand their ground, and who push back as being threatening or intimidating. This is the same reason why Mike Brown was killed. This is one of the reasons why Emmett Till was killed. And throughout history Black men have continued to be characterized as aggressive because … one because of our skin color, but two because we happen to be outspoken and passionate about certain issues. It’s reckless and dangerous what she said, Okay, characterizing me in my interaction with her yesterday. I never invaded her personal space. I was laughing and gregarious the entire time. How was that intimidating? What was intimidating about that? So she goes to a press conference today and says that she’s intimidated by me and my mannerisms are aggressive. Anyone who’s interacted with me, anyone knows me, even reported this, you know, I’m middle school principal energy, always loving and engaging and friendly, except when kids [are] killed in our streets. Everyone should be outraged about that. But she knows what she’s doing when she does that, and unfortunately white supremacists historically, this is what they do. They try to dehumanize Black people, black skin and black humanity so that they could be you know, more likely to be targeted for harm.”

Snap.

photo

Brian Kemp, Georgia’s GOP governor, urging Republican leaders to set aside Thing 45’s obsession with the Big Lie:

“Not a single swing voter in a single swing state will vote for our nominee if they choose to talk about the 2020 election being stolen. To voters trying to pay their rent, make their car payment or put their kids through college, 2020 is ancient history, [and voters] couldn’t care less about anyone’s sour grapes.”

Oh but you’re wrong, Bri … one person cares and he’s going to continue to make it an issue unless the rest of the party shuts him down.

And, sadly, the GOP has no balls so …

photo

Kellyanne Conway, Cryptkeeper for Thing 45, on Fox, explaining why the GOP will lose election after election:

“The Republican Party cannot wait for the young to get old and the single to get married to find new voters. We can’t be beaten on this, policy-wise. I think that we have already won the policy arguments on the economy, education, on several issues. I think we’ve got some work to do on the young people who think differently on abortion, perhaps, or guns or climate change. But even there, the Democrats’ messages are usually cynical. The thing I’m really concerned about on this is that the left becomes a turnout machine with young people. Influencers have this domino effect, the lemming-like effect of people just all wanting to be part of the same crowd. And if they succeed that way, we are not doing a good job competing for ballots; we’re just competing for votes…We need to compete for ballots, not just voters and not just minds.”

She says what we all know: that young people ... whom she thinks are ignorant lemmings ...  will vote against the GOP until they get married and get old. What poor Kellyanne forgets is that there will always be young people voting, so maybe rethink your policies and try collaborating with women and minorities and the LGBTQ+ community and immigrants and such.

Try doing something.

I Didn't Say It ...

Dwyane Wade, celebrating his 15-year-old trans daughter who just legally became Zaya:

"As your father, all I’ve wanted to do was get it right. I’ve sat back and watched how gracefully you’ve taken on the public scrutiny, and even though it’s not easy, I watched you walk out of that house every morning as yourself. I admire how you’ve handled the ignorance in our world. I admire what you face every day. As your father, my job isn’t to create a version of myself or direct your future, my role is to be a facilitator to your hopes, your wishes, and your dreams. Zaya, you’ve made me a better human just simply by being who you were born to be—a baby girl, Zaya Wade.”

That’s how it’s done; it’s not being woke, it’s being a parent and loving your child and standing with your child and letting your child become themselves in whatever way that means.

photo

Eric Swalwell, Democrat Congressman, taking asshat Matt Gaetz to task for having an accused murderer lead the Pledge of Allegiance:

“Mr. Gaetz wanted to offer an amendment to say the Pledge of Allegiance. That’s great. Every single person on our side supported that. Now, I don’t think he really genuinely cares about saying the Pledge of Allegiance, but he wanted to do it again to own the libs and to see if we would vote against it. We didn’t. But who did he bring in here to say the Pledge of Allegiance? Who did he parade in here? Someone he met at a gun club. Mr. Cicilline, you had the crazy idea that maybe we should vet the people who come in here, make sure they’re not insurrectionists. Mr. McClintock—I am not kidding you—Mr. McClintock said, ‘Well, it’s not like we’re gonna invite somebody who committed murder.’ No, he literally said that. ‘It’s not like we’re going to invite somebody who committed murder.’ Who did Mr. Gaetz bring? He brought Corey Beekman. Corey Beekman—in 2019—was in a standoff with the Michigan police. After, he was arrested and charged with murder, assault with intent to commit murder, and two counts of felony firearm possession. The family of the victims said Mr. Gaetz doing that, it was like getting a dagger stuck in our heart again. That’s why there’s a trust deficit here. You pull off a public stunt to try and own the libs, and what you did was you brought in the guy who allegedly shot two people and killed one of them. That’s where the trust deficit is. So you can play your games, conduct your stunts. We’re here to get shit done.”

Matt Gaetz is woefully inept at anything other than showboating and grandstanding and playing at being an elected official.

He’s a disgrace to Congress.

photo

Lance Gooden, Texas GOP Representative, attacking Democrat Representative Judy Chu because of her Chinese heritage:

“I question her either loyalty or competence. It’s not ‘xenophobic’ to question where her loyalty lies.”

Gooden also said that Chu should be barred from access to classified information.

Judy Chu was born in Los Angeles and as such is an American, but fuckwits like Lance Gooden don’t care about facts when there is bigotry to spread.

photo

Kellyanne Conway, talking to Sean Hannity … oh the irony … on Fox News, about liars:

“I want to challenge people watching tonight who don’t wear red hats, don’t consider themselves MAGA, don’t consider themselves very strong political people. I want to ask yourself how many times you’ve been lied to, not just by this government, but how many times have you been lied to by the people whose job it is to tell you the truth in the media all in the service of getting the president?”

Howsabout how many times you’ve been lied to by Thing 45 and Kellyanne ‘Alternative Facts’ Conway and Sean Hannity and Fox News and Tucker and Rupert and Laura and Jeanine and all the other basket of deplorables.

Oh, and Kellyanne? Kindly fuck all the way off.

photo

President Joe Biden, responding to Large Marge’s claim that he was responsible for deadly fentanyl overdoses that occurred during 2020 … when he was not the president:

“The interesting thing is, that fentanyl they took was during the last administration, and you know, a little bit more Marjorie Taylor Greene and a few more [lies], you’re gonna have a lot of Republicans running our way. Isn’t she amazing? Oof.”

Large Marge is the lying, treasonous, fool gift that keeps on giving.

photo

Harris Faulkner, Fox News daytime host, so we know she’s a liar, lying on TV to the family of a young man who died from a fentanyl overdose:

“You know what is remarkable about all of this, and I don’t mean in a good way, is how the president of the United States responded to your testimony that millions of people across the country with our hearts, with our spirits, who were right there with you, watched. President Biden for a moment discussed your family’s tragedy. He laughed at that. We have had people coming across that border drug cartels for quite some time. It has become a historic problem now. What do you say to the president of the United States?”

As Lying Harris Faulkner knows, President Biden was mocking Empty G’s blatant lie that those deaths occurred when he was in office … in 2020.

You’d think once the entre news organization and its owner admits to being liars, they should check and double-check, and then triple-check, and then, to cover their bases, say nothing at all.

photo

Jimmy Kimmel, comic and talk show host, about a report in Rolling Stone that said Thing 45 tried to pressure Disney to rein in Kimmel’s jokes about the traitor:

“In other words, President Karen demanded to speak to my manager, and you’d think the guy who fathered Eric and Don Jr. would know how to handle jokes, but I guess not. Wow, what a fragile little snowflake, [but] we have a First Amendment right that Americans a hell of a lot braver than [President Karen] died for and it’s especially hypocritical coming from someone who claims to be the biggliest anti-censorship defender of free speech.”

But he’s a widdoe snowflake who hates when people laugh at him, even if he is just a joke …

I Didn't Say It

Jerrod Carmichael, out comedian, on Dave Chappelle’s nonstop attacks on the transgender community as “jokes”:

“Look, I get it. Everybody’s got to create a bogeyman to sell tickets. But it’s not true. Who’s getting canceled for what they’ve said? What does that mean, that people are mad on Twitter? Everybody’s fine. These grown men are fine. I think, a lot of times, people who offer nothing truthful or meaningful about themselves then complain about society at large and create this boogeyman. It’s like, listen, that’s the most urgent thing in your life? God bless you. I’m tired of hearing it. Chappelle, do you know what comes up when you Google your name, bro? That’s the legacy? Your legacy is a bunch of opinions on trans shit? It’s an odd hill to die on. And it’s like, hey, bro. Who the fuck are you? Who do you fuck? What do you like to do? Childish jokes aside, who the fuck are you? It’s just kind of played. But he’s choosing to die on the hill. So, all right, let him.”

Chappelle has drawn controversy for his anti-transgender comments and continues to make anti-trans jokes. During a Netflix is a Joke event Chappelle was tackled onstage by a young man who said he was “triggered” by Chappelle’s routine. After being attacked, Chappelle declared that the assailant was a trans man.

That was a lie. Chappelle has made a career of bashing our trans brothers and sisters and complains about being cancelled and yet he’s made millions with his “humor.”

I’ll stand with Jerrod.

photo

Ken Paxton, Texas Attorney General, speaking for all Republicans about mass shootings:

“If I lost one of my children I’d be pretty devastated, especially in a way that is so senseless and seemingly has no purpose. I would just have to say, if I had the opportunity to talk to the people I’d have to say, look, there’s always a plan. I believe God always has a plan. Life is short no matter what it is. And certainly, we’re not going to make sense of, you know, a young child being shot and killed way before their life expectancy.”

So, God wanted your kid’s body obliterated with bullets while at school because “there’s a plan”? Howsabout God’s plan—and yes, I am being facetious about “god”—to make you asshats wake up and do something about guns in this country before more innocent children are slaughtered.

Maybe your God is trying to get your attention but you’re making too much money from the NRA to take Her call.

photo

Amy Kremer, chair of Women for America First and organizer of Thing 45’s Insurrection, has changed her mind:

“[Thing 45] is disconnected from the base. It’s time for those of us in the movement to get back to basics, back to our first principles. We were here long before [Thing 45] came along, and we’re going to be here long afterward.”

Nice, Amy, but you goose-stepped along with the traitor before during and after January 6, so excuse me if I don’t find you traitor adjacent.

photo

Kellyanne Conway, the Cryptkeeper for Thing 45, smacking down Jared Kushner in her new book:

“There was no subject he considered beyond his expertise. Criminal justice reform. Middle East peace. The southern and northern borders. Veterans and opioids. Big Tech and small business. If Martian attacks had come across the radar, he would have happily added them to his ever-bulging portfolio. He’d have made sure you knew he’d exiled the Martians to Uranus and insisted he did not care who got credit for it. He misread the Constitution in one crucial respect, thinking that all power not given to the federal government was reserved to him.

Kellyanne sounds a little miffed that Jared had more sway with the bloated traitor than she did.

Kellyanne can, as always, fuck off.

Bobservations

Last week I was in our home office, working on the computer when the landline rang; and, yes, we still have  a landline, sue me. It was Carlos, calling me on his cell phone from our back deck, which he was cleaning. Our aging Pocket Dog, Ozzo, has some trouble navigating the stairs and occasionally he will poop on the deck, and Carlos was picking it up. But he needed me to come out and, um, “Point out the poop” so he could clean it up. As I saw no poop, I advised him to use the leaf blower, and then sweep, and that should work.

Another hour passed and Carlos comes in wincing in pain because he decided to sweep under one of the potted rose bushes and lifted the huge pot filled with soil and a rose bush by himself.

My husband. He needs me to Spot the Poop but thinks he can lift a giant pot all by himself. Today marks a week since his spasm and he is still wandering through the house muttering:

“Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow.”

And now I’m in pain.

Tuxedo just wants to break it down real simple for the those of you in the back.

Just in time for the 9/11 anniversary, Thing 45 reminded Newsmax that on that date he was “down there” helping out after the attacks, a lie he’s been spewing for decades.

True, he was “near” the site, but he’s never proven that he helped, and now he has a new piece of the story, one he’s never told and it’s a doozy:

“We were hearing creaks—I’ve never forgotten it, it was I think the United States Steel Building it was called at the time; it was 50 stories tall, and we heard creaks. I said, ‘That building is going to come down,’ and two big firemen grabbed me, and grabbed other people, and they just moved out of that area. Never came down, but I never heard a noise like that. And it was a scary situation.”

He heard a building “creak” and he had to be rescued.

Fuck all the way off, grifter.

PS He plans to spend the 20th anniversary of 9/11 by calling a boxing match because, well, he’s being paid

I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars—never have, never will—because, well, stars? No so much,

Case in point, as I saw on GMA this week, is that one Olivia Jade will be one of the “stars” this season. Don’t know her? She is the daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, the two who tried to buy her way into USC by forging pictures of Olivia as an Olympic worthy rower.

So, perhaps this season should be called Dancing with the Children of Rich People Who Tried to Bribe Their Way Into Getting Their Children Into Good Universities Even Those Their Daughters Are Dumb As A Box Of Attention Seeking Rocks.

Too long?

Daily coronavirus infections are more than four times what the U.S. was seeing on Labor Day last year … a 316% increase.

You can blame the highly contagious delta variant while I lay the blame at idiot anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers.

Oh, and COVID hospitalizations are up 158% from this time last year when we were in the midst of the pandemic.

We will never learn.

And in Florida, one of the states hardest hit by the Delta variant because they are idiots with a fool for governor, don’t even think to ask how many people are dying every day because the state of Florida won’t say.

They will not release that information because as many more people die every single day it makes those in charge look bad.

As murderers often do.

Former Thing 45 lapdog and liar Kellyanne Conway is rejecting a request from the Biden administration that she resign from the United States Air Force Academy’s board  or face termination. Conway said in a letter to Biden:

“Your decision is disappointing but understandable given the need to distract from a news cycle that has you mired in multiple self-inflicted crises and plummeting poll numbers.”

She ended the letter saying it was a “privilege” to serve under grifter, rapist, racist, adulterer and con artist Thing 45 “whose actions resulted in the deaths of terrorists” including Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Qasem Soleimani.

She forgot to mention the 600,000+ Americans her former boss murdered, and the 5,000 Taliban terrorists he let out of jail.

Now Joe will simply fire her … You’re fired … which has an ironic ring to it ... and she will slither back to the crypt.

Texas Right to Life’s website, ProLifeWhistleblower.com, which asks people to inform on those obtaining or facilitating abortions, has not stayed up for long, as website registration providers have said the online form to submit “whistleblower” reports violates their rules.

First, GoDaddy booted the group from its platform, and they scurried over to Epik, until that site told the Texas organization hat it had violated the company’s terms of service.

Good.

This is an old feature of ISBL that I might revive for Bobservations; it was called, simply, Would You Hit It?

This is Finn Wittrock, who has been a staple on American Horror Story for several seasons now and is the star of this season’s ‘Red Tide’.

The rules are simple … Would.You.Hit.It. Yes or No.

Bobservations

Not so much a Carlos story but … we have a new employee at work—yes, we’re open and working, though not yet back to normal—and on her first day the conversation around the office turned to homosexuality. We made jokes—the straight folk and me—and told stories of gay and straight friends. I told of my old friend Chris, one of the most effeminate flamboyant men I’ve ever men who is as straight as they come; he just acts big and bold and brassy.

Anyway, this new woman seemed a little uncomfortable and so I explained that it was all in good fun, that it was a completely open office and said no one intended any offense. She still looked uneasy, and then said she had a brother who was gay, so I said…
“Oh, I get it. When I first started here I was a little taken aback by the conversation because, you see, my husband is gay.”
Took her a minute.
Wouldn’t the world be a better place, with a lot less sick and dead and out-of-work Americans?

If you’re planning on voting by mail, and worried that someone might interfere with you ballot, contact the Secretary of State in your state and search for secure ballot drop-boxes in your state or a specific area.

They are secure because the ballots can only be obtained by legal and authorized individuals.

Don’t let _____ keep you from voting and securing your ballot.
Loving it …_____ has been ordered by a California Superior Court to reimburse adult film actress Stormy Daniels for $44,000 in legal fees she incurred in the battle over her nondisclosure agreement.

Stormy says she had a year-long affair with ____, at the end of which she signed a $130,000 nondisclosure agreement with ______ lackey Michael Cohen, who represented a shell company and a “David Dennison,” which Clifford contends is a pseudonym for _____.

For his part, _____still denies the affair  but will still pay her attorney fees.

That was some schtupping, no?
Kellyanne Conway, _____’s Minister of Propaganda, is quitting, y’all! And she says it’s because she wants to spend more time with her children, who have been nailing her ass to the wall for months on social media because she’s a _____ goose-stepper.

Now, maybe Kellyanne—and her husband, _____-hating George, who is also leaving his job—are serious about this Family First business, but it begs the question …why now?

Why announce the very week of the RNC? I smell rotten fish and, this time, it isn’t just Kellyanne.
Juicy … Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former friend of Melanie _____, who helped produce the 2017 presidential inauguration—and may know where all that missing money went to—has written a tell-all about Melanie, and apparently has taped conversations in which the First Lady makes disparaging remarks about her husband and his adult children, notably Daddy’s Favorite Girl, Ivanka.

The book comes out next month. Juicy.
Cokeheads, racists, shrews, liars, teenagers at the RNC. But my favorite was Pam Bondi, former Attorney General and rabid ______ lapdog, who said the DNC was all about Joe Biden’s nepotism.

On the night that Tiffany _____ spoke … Eric ‘The Dumb One’_____ spoke … and Melanie _____ spoke. The night after Junior ____ spoke, and Junior’s Eva Braun-esque girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle. And the night before ______’s Daughter-Wife, Ivanka, speaks.

It’s like they lie because they have nothing else to say.
And here we have the hot Isaac Moreno, a nice little morsel from Spain. Those lips! Those eyes! That body! That underwear.

That sultry gaze… oh my.

Just sayin’.

I Didn't Say It ,,,

Dr. Anthony Fauci, paying tribute AIDS activist Larry Kramer, who went from adversary to friend over the years:

“This is a very sad day, not only for me, but for many people who’ve had the opportunity to deal with Larry Kramer. He was a most unusual figure in a very positive sense. He was a firebrand. He had extraordinary courage to speak out and challenge the system that was in place at the time of the early years of HIV/AIDS. As a government official who was trying to do a job to address this, he saw me as the face of the federal government. And we became adversaries. I wasn’t an adversary to him, but boy, he was an adversary to me. He attacked me, he called me a murderer, he called me an incompetent idiot—I mean, publicly. But then, as I got to listen to what he had to say, I realized that he was making some important points that we in the establishment needed to listen to. We became, gradually, friends, and then we became very good friends, and then we became colleagues in the struggle. So it turned out that, you know, I loved the guy. And I think he loved me back. And it was a very interesting journey that we went through together. From the very beginning, when there was no hope, and we were adversaries, to the point where we had extraordinarily effective drugs and were able to save the lives of so many people, that we became sort of old guys together looking back at history and realizing what an amazing journey we’d been through together. So I’m very sad that we lost him. He was just an extraordinary man.”

I love that Kramer and Fauci were adversaries who learned to listen to one another and then work together.
It speaks volumes about both men.
Dan Levy, Schitt’s Creek actor and creator  and Hot Gay, on his weariness at seeing people hostile about wearing masks:

“I’ve been seeing a lot of viral videos about people who are actively not wearing masks because they perceive it to be an infringement on their freedom, and I suppose, in a way I can understand the frustration of being told what to do, which is why I would like to propose a re-contextualization of this whole thing. Imagine seeing it not as an infringement on your freedom, but rather the simplest, easiest act of kindness that you can do in a day. Not just for yourself, but for other people who might have autoimmune issues. People who, if they were to contract COVID with those issues might have some devastating repercussions. If you have the freedom to leave your house, if you have the good health to leave your house, why not put on a mask, make it your good deed for the day and do something nice for yourself and other people.”

It is the simplest form of kindness, but sadly, with what passes for leadership in our country and sets the example, many people are like _____ and have a Me First, F%k You mentality.
Kayleigh McEnany, White House Press Liar, defending _____’s Tweets about that debunked Joe Scarborough murder conspiracy theory:

“Mika accused the president of being responsible for 100,000 deaths in this country. That’s incredibly irresponsible. They’ve dragged his family through the mud, they’ve made false accusations that I won’t go through, that I would not say from this podium and they should be held to account.”

First off, you lying asshat, if Mika accused _____ of killing 100,000 people then go after her—even though she’s right. Why go after Scarborough? Oh yeah, narcissistic little baby man.
Fact: 100,000+ Americans have died because the _____ administration bungled the response to the pandemic.
Fact. Take a seat, liar.
PS: In 2015, Kayleigh McEnany called _____ a "racist" and said he made "derogatory" and "hateful" comments about Mexican immigrants.
Five years later she’s his lapdog.
Dr. Deborah Birx, on if she thinks the country is reopening too soon:

“I think a few things are together. So from the beginning, and I think when we had that first briefing, we talked about 1.2 million to 2.4 million [infected] and 100,000 to 240,000 people succumbing to this incredibly aggressive virus. Those are the figures that we continue to stand by in this first wave and really understanding how to prevent future hospitalizations and future deaths is really what we’re focused on every single day.”

But hey, a few people die so the airlines and oil companies start making millions again. Business is business and as long as it’s just old or poor or black or Latino people, who cares?
That’s how America’s “leaders” feel.
Kellyanne Conway, White House Cryptkeeper, coming out against mail-in voting:

“People very proudly show up and go to the polls. They really are, I mean they wait in line for, at Georgetown Cupcake for an hour to get a cupcake. So I think they can probably wait in line to do something as consequential and critical and constitutionally significant as cast their ballot. The Democrats don’t like their candidate, they didn’t want Joe Biden to be their nominee, so they’re looking for any which way they can to, to find other methods by which to make him more appealing to the voters.”

Two things Kelly:
#1 how pissed are your hair and makeup people at you, you rabid wet dog?
#2: so, you admit if mail-in voting occurs your president will lose?
#3: Democrats like our candidate, we don’t like yours, because, among a thousand other things, he stood by and let 100,000 people die.
Oh, and _____ votes by mail so how it is right for him and not for the rest of us? Our military men and women all around the world vote by mail\, too.
Asshat. Someone put her leash back on and drag her to the basement.
Anderson Cooper, CNN, also paying tribute to Larry Kramer:

“Larry Kramer once called me a ‘useless homosexual. I’d never met him, but it really hurt because I admired him so much. A short time after he said it, I went to see a play that he’d written, and he heard I was coming, and he waited after the performance to see me. He came up to me. I expected him to yell at me, but he shook my hand and smiled shyly and said, ‘I’ve said some terrible things about you, Anderson.’ And I said, ‘I know Larry, but that’s OK, and I want to thank you.’ Thirty-two million people have died of AIDS so far,” Cooper concluded. “There’s no vaccine yet, but there is incredibly effective treatment for those who can get it—and prevention. And Larry Kramer played a big part in that. You may not have heard of him or liked him if you did, but to me, he’s a hero, and now he’s gone.”

Larry is a hero and will always be one.
