Bobservations

Work on the kitchen goes on; we are awaiting the delivery of the specialty tile I ordered so we can get the hood installed and the light up, but our contractor Craig was here this week installing all the knobs. He had a “management” question so naturally I was summoned from the office to the kitchen to discuss the issue, but first Craig apologized:

“I would have been done sooner but Carlos keeps coming out here and bothering me.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Why are you sorry?”

“He was bugging me in the office so I kept sending him out here!”

And Carlos chimes in:

“I can hear you, you know.”

Oh, we know …

This Tuxedo Says is from June 2021, but is just as relevant today:

With all these state legislatures trying to pass these voter suppression bills, they are the perfect place to start voting out the RepubliQAnons.

That cat was onto something even back then!

The Cankles Regime has stopped commemorating December 1 as World AIDS Day. The US has honored that day every year since 1988 but no longer.

Bottom of Form

TheThThe Regime has  drastically cut federal funding for HIV prevention worldwide and an estimated 127,073 adult and 13,527 infant deaths have been caused by the effects of HIV/AIDS due to Cankles’ cuts in funding for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief [PEPFAR], a program that has saved an estimated 25 to 26 million lives since its inception in 2003.

Fuck Cankles.

I recently read that Jennifer Lopez was paid $2 million to perform at a billionaire’s star-studded wedding in India.

I’ve said this about Taylor Swift and the same holds true for Jell-O … she could give a free concert in my kitchen and I still wouldn’t go.

Starbucks will pay about $38 million to more than 15,000 workers in what officials are calling the largest worker protection settlement in New York City history after the company denied thousands of workers stable schedules and cut their hours arbitrarily.

The bosses make millions and then fucks their employees.

Don’t go to Starbucks. Ever.

In Washington DC two members of the National Guard, Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom and Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe were shot over the weekend and Beckstrom died from her wounds.

Instantly Cankles ordered 500 more National Guard members into DC but when children are shot in a school nothing happens.

Let that sink in ...

Anyone who invested $12,500 in the Slovenian Hooker’s meme coin scheme at its peak, not has $118 left.

I could feel sorry for those people, but if they believed that anyone in that family would make them rich gets what they got.

Jinkx Monsoon will star as Judy Garland in the revival of Peter Quilter's End of the Rainbow musical and Friends of Dorothy AKA The Gays, as well as Friends of Jinkx couldn't be more excited.

Monsoon, clearly the biggest winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, has done everything from playing Matron Mama Morton in Chicago, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Ruth in Pirates! The Penzance Musical, and Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary! and says approach to playing Garland will be different:

"I know people know me for impressions and imitations—but I'm thrilled for this chance to explore beyond the laughter and into the heart of why we still think so much about Judy today. Her tale is one that we can't forget, especially as women in entertainment are still fighting for autonomy and agency in their own careers. I'm ready to bring new aspects of her story to the stage, and to share what I find so tragically beautiful about her life.”

Monsoon Season comes to England from May 15 through June 21, 2026, at the Soho Theatre.

If we are at war, then DUI Hire Pete Hegseth is a war criminal. And if we are not at war then Pete Hegseth is a murderer and draft dodging Cankles is his accomplice.

Jakob Jokerst is a Germany model discovered at age 16; since then he quickly made a name for himself in the fashion industry and expanded into the strange new occupation, social media influencer, so now, at age 26 … Would You Hit It?

Karen Goes To Starbucks

Amber Lynn Gilles is one of those Starbucks Karens, but she’s a Karen with a twist.

See, Amber Lynn Gilles went to a San Diego Starbucks without a mask and Lenin Gutierrez, the on-duty barista, refused to serve her. So, Amber Lynne Gilles took his picture and posted it to Facebook to somehow shame him for trying to protect people from the virus:
“Meet lenen [sic] from Starbucks who refused to serve me cause I’m not wearing a mask. Next time I will wait for cops and bring a medical exemption.”
Sadly, her post backfired in an epic way. Facebook people saw and shared Amber Lynn Gilles’ post and felt badly for Lenin; one of those folks started a GoFundMe page as a “virtual tip jar” to raise $20,000 for Lenin. The page raised well over 100K and now … wait for it … it’s epic …it’s totally Karen … are you ready …. Here goes … Amber Lynn Gilles wants half the money.

Yes, Amber Lynne Gilles says Lenin discriminated against her by asking to follow California law requiring masks to be worn in public spaces:
“It was discrimination, and everybody is OK with it and enabling and rewarding that behavior. I get shortness of breath, dizziness and it messes with the heartbeat, and I do have asthma as well, and I do get mask-acne. So, there’s several things going on and not only that but it doesn’t even work.”
Boy, she is one hot mess: asthma and mask acne? Still Gilles went to her local TV news channel, KGTV, and gave them two documents to prove her exemption.

The first was a pelvic exam from 2015, with results that say “probable exophytic fibroid arising from the anterior wall of the uterus measuring 2.9 cm size,” and “simple 2.5 cm left ovarian cys.”

Ovarian cyst and masks? Now, granted I am not familiar with female anatomy, but does that even make sense?

The second document was a handwritten note on letterhead from a local chiropractor, who claimed that Gilles “has underlying breath conditions that prevent her from wearing a mask or any type of facial covering whatsoever.”

A chiropractor? Gilles defended that note by saying:
“They are dedicated to providing non-invasive personalized care and treatment. They are real doctors.”
And then Amber Lynn Gilles said she may start her own GoFundMe to raise money for legal fees should she decide to sue … unless she gets an apology:
“I feel like I need the apology. I’ve been discriminated against, I’m the one who’s sick.”
And now I agree with Amber Lynn Gilles: she is sick. But I also have a tad bit of advice:
Dear Amber Lynn Gilles,
Stay the fuck home then.
Love, America.

Bobservations

I told Carlos that since we’re both at home, I would assign points to chores and whomever has the most points accumulated by the time we are set free—assuming neither one of has killed the other, dismembered him, and shipped him off to various parts of the world via FedEx—the loser would have to take the other away for a weekend wherever the winner wants to go.

First day: I mowed the lawn and awarded myself 100 pts. Carlos raked leaves and got 5 points.

Second day: Carlos cleaned the living room, dining room, office and bedrooms for 35 points. I cleaned the kitchen for 250 points. It’s a rigged system but I like it …

Where do I want to go?
Why is it when you see Oprah and Gayle King, Gayle always looks like she’s about to get a doggy biscuit, a pat on the head, and a ‘Good girl,’ from Oprah?
Christian Siriano, Project Runway winner and fashion designer, is paying attention, and upon hearing about the shortage of medical masks––mainly due to panic buying––he reached out via Twitter to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to offer the services and resources of his fashion house to produce some:
If @NYGovCuomo says we need masks my team will help make some. I have a full sewing team still on staff working from home that can help.”
And Cuomo accepted and Christian’s and staff went to work competing an order of masks in a weekend.

Oh, and he’s not making a dime off them; it was done free.
Harvey Weinstein has tested positive for the coronavirus in prison begging the question: why the fuck are we testing Weinstein when they are non-criminal Americans who need the test?
As the coronavirus spreads around the county, Jerry Falwell, faux-Christian-religious-wingnut president of Liberty University has invited students to return to residence halls and has directed faculty members to continue to report to campus even as most classes move online.

All in the name of making _____ look good. Who cares if it sparks a surge in new cases or anyone dies? Right, Jerry?
Some good news out of Washington …fingers crossed … it looks like _____’s businesses are barred from getting loans or investments under the new $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus deal, according to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

The ____ Organization, of which the president has not divested though he swore he would, is run by his two elder sons, Junior and The Dumb One.

Hopefully once this is all over, _____ won’t get his fellow GOP criminals to change this and back pay him for all his suffering.
As unemployment claims surge, Starbucks CEO and President Kevin Johnson announced that his company will pay all of its employees in the US and Canada for the next 30 days, regardless of whether they come into work or the stores they work at temporarily close.

That’s how it’s done; people over profits.
Denis Suraev. All I know is that he’s a Russian model, he’s tall, he’s hot, he’s built like a son of a bitch and I’d like to climb him. Is that so wrong?

Bobservations

The other day, while in our home office working on this here blog thingy, Carlos appeared at the door, an envelope in hand:
“Is there something you need to tell me?”
“I don’t think so. Why?”
“This came in the mail for you. It’s a renewal from for membership to the NRA.”
"What the … lemme see that!”
I took it from him and, sure enough, it was a renewal form for the NRA; but there was something else … I said to Carlos:
“Do you know me?”
"Yes, but—”
“You know me? What’s my name?”
"What? I don’t—”
“I’m your husband, Bob, and this is addressed to Richard Thornhill who lives two doors down!”
“Oh.”
Oh.
This week George Conway, husband of _____ lapdog Kellyanne, suggested in a tweet that _____ was guilty of witness tampering in the Mueller investigation. And the Dumb _____, Eric, didn’t like that, and accused Conway of showing “utter disrespect” towards his wife:
“Of all the ugliness in politics, the utter disrespect George Conway shows toward his wife, her career, place of work, and everything she has fought SO hard to achieve, might top them all. [Kellyanne] is great person and frankly his actions are horrible.”
Seriously? Eric _____, son of Donald, is going to school someone on how to be a good husband?

His own father cheated on his mother, announced, while still married to Eric’s mom, that his new mistress was the “best sex” he’d ever had, but cheated on that mistress-turned wife with a mistress who became his third wife, and cheated on her with porn stars and beauty pageant contestants. And George Conway disrespected his wife?

Take a seat, Eric, you’re an idiot.

PS Any man who defrauds a children’s cancer fund out of millions of dollars really shouldn’t discuss anyone’s character.

Ass.
I wasn’t a fan of 41, and openly reviled W, but every chance I get to see W interact with Michelle Obama makes me smile a little more … like at the funeral yesterday when he greeted her and slipped a piece of candy into her hand as she had to him at McCain’s funeral.

I loved that. And I loved the look on Melanie’s face; clearly, she’s never seen a random act of kindness.

And, I, too, got choked up when W choked up at the end of his eulogy. I know the loss of a parent and he reminded me of that yesterday.
In Sorry, Not Sorry News …after the 9/11, for a hot second, Rudy Giuliani was considered the most popular mayor in the country, but things have changed in the intervening years.

It appears that a planned 25th anniversary celebration of Giuliani’s election win was cancelled due to a lack of interest, with party planners struggling to find guests to attend, or anyone to speak favorably of Rudy.

Poor man, he tried to turn the deaths of 3,000 Americans into a political dynasty, and all he got was the pleasure of being _____’s little whipping boy.

Sorry, not sorry.
In Karma Is A Bitch I’d Like To Have Cocktails With … gay alt-right asshat Milo Yiannopoulos is more than $2 million in debt.

He apparently owes $1.6m to his own company, $400,000 to the Mercers, $153,215 to his former lawyers, $76,574 to former collaborator Allum Bokhari, and $20,000 to the luxury jewelry brand Cartier.

Take a seat, Karma, the first round is on me!
Last week Starbucks announced that they’re going to be installing a blocker on the WiFi in all of their U.S. stores to prevent people from accessing porn site while sipping a Pumpkin Spiced latte and choking their Pumpkin Spiced Chicken.

In retaliation, the management team at YouPorn has banned all Starbucks products from their offices.

So, apparently no one will be spanking the monkey while drinking a half decaf, half caf, skim, double foam, triple macchiato with caramel sauce.
Yes, I am an Awards Show Queen™. I love all of them, even the People’s Choice, er, E! People’s Choice Awards—okay, I kid about that, I loathe that show. But the Oscars? C’mon; I live for Oscar night.

But this year the Oscars have chosen one of my least favorite performers of all time to host the show: Kevin Hart. Some folks think he’s funny; he’s not. Some folks think he’s talented; he’s not.

What he is, is a man who cheated on his pregnant wife, lied about it, made fun of the cheating rumors, then admitted the rumors were true.

In the era of #MeToo the Oscars have picked an adulterer to host their big show.

Oh, and he makes gay jokes because, you know, gay is funny … to little men who cheat on their wives like Kevin Hart.

Of course, I’ll still watch, but I’ll fast forward through Kevin Hart.
More Sorry, Not Sorry? Okay … last week Broward Sheriff’s Office SWAT member Matt Patten wore a QAnon conspiracy-theory patch while greeting Vice President Michael Elizabeth Pence at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

This week Patten was reprimanded and demoted from the SWAT team and BSO’s Office of Homeland Security.

For the uninitiated, QAnon is an internet conspiracy theory that claims _____ is secretly working to arrest a small group of high-level pedophiles in Hollywood and the Democratic Party.

But Pence allowed himself to be photographed with the asshat, until the story went viral and then he deleted the snapshot.

So, here it is …

I know Trump's go-to posture is "arms crossed" over his prominent gut, but at the funeral of a President?

Sad, pathetic, lonely, pitiful, hate-filled, bloated man.
Two hotties this week … one political, and one Scottish; yeah, I know that makes no sense… sue me.

Anyway, Brian Tyler Cohen is an actor and host of Occupy Democrats on Facebook; he’s dreamy, a Democrat, and politically savvy. What’s not to love?

Then there’s Richard Rankin, who plays Roger Wakefield on Outlander. He’s dreamy and Scottish; what’s not to love?

See, there is a connection!
