Nice, but way too white, and that gold trim and fixtures in the bathroom? That's tacky.

DeleteOh yes, when can we come visit? Add a little color, some art. I'd either need to install a lift, or get rid of the bath tub, I'd get rid of it and have a larger shower. 2,000 sq ft, big enough without being too much work.

DeleteI could work with this. Yes, there is too much white, but that is fixable. I love the views and outdoor spaces. I would tweak the bathrooms. The vessel sink, standalone bathtub, and the blue sink set up in the other bathroom must go. I read once that farmhouse sinks may not be a good option because the water runs down the front and ruins the cabinets underneath. Extra millwork must be applied to alleviate this. Love the floorplan. Now let me call Cher and invite her over for drinks. She can leave the boytoy at home.

DeleteImagine it without the white paint on the brickwork, exposed beams, and exposed ceiling deck i.e. exposed materials which would be more likely the original design. The interior designers to "updated" (destroyed the original design) needs to be run out of town.

Too much white paint, the beams should have been left in their natural wood tone.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever get a mid century home keep it as original as possible. A relative has one with ventana windows and the original kitchen with 60’s space age built in appliances. :)
I don't mind SOME of the white but wood beams should stay natural.

DeleteI'm a little jealous of that "French Farmhouse" kitchen sink and the depth of the bathtub, The place needs more colour in my opinion, but overall not bad. In the first picture, that row of homes on the lower level are just a big wave away from being washed out to sea. Unless there is more land than can be seen from this angle.
