This is fab.
ReplyDeleteFrom the use of the lot to the distribution of the spaces. It also uses materials very smartly. Love the upper floor.
Pity it’s in Texas.
XOXO
I imagine more than one builder turned up their nose at building on that lot, but the one who did created something very cool.

If I had to live here, I suppose I could. It is very well done and love the mix of textures and surfaces. The outside is stunning! I'd be outdoors naked all the time! The place is very fire island I must say.
ReplyDeleteI still don't like exposed kitchens to other rooms. It bothers me. Otherwise I love this.
Even though our house is all separate rooms I kind of like the loft vibe of that first floor main space.
DeleteAnd I love the wood, steel and glass of it all.
In the bedroom with the green bedspread, it looks like the window is corroding on the hinges. Why leave that window partly open to expose that? Four levels with the roof terrace and no elevator. I like the concept more than the execution.
ReplyDeleteWow, what good eyesight you have! I had to go back to the photo and enlarge it to see the window frame.
DeleteAnd you know I'm with you on the elevator.
It’s clever and fun! Truly unique!
ReplyDeletePerfect fit for that lot!
DeleteI kind of like this, though I'd rip out some of the concrete and put in a lawn. It also needs a tree or two to make it less stark.
ReplyDeleteI don't really mind the lack of lawn since it's a water guzzler, and there are trees around the house, so I like it.
DeleteI like this. I have no idea why though. I can see myself falling through the stairs and getting stuck there.

Very cool. Loads of fun. Well done. But not for me. I need walls for art.
ReplyDeleteI need fewer stairs!!!
DeleteNo thanks.
ReplyDelete🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
DeleteThat is an interesting property. With three floors, my old legs wouldn't be happy climbing on the daily. Still cool for the right artist.
ReplyDeleteMy legs are right there with you!!!
