Rick Wilson, political strategist, pundit and author, on
Cankles’ newest push for the ballroom:
“As America’s economy teeters on the brink due to [his]
insane tariffs, calamitous war with Iran, and his deeply incompetent
Administration, I think I speak for the majority of Americans when I say FUCK
YOUR BALLROOM.”
Seriously, this is
akin to Marie Antoinette and her “let them eat cake” remark. Americans can’t
afford food or gas or healthcare or energy bills and this regime wants to build
a $300 million ballroom because a diaper-wearing, racist, rapist, predator, con
artist has a fragile ego?
Fuck that.

Great collection of quotations this morning, Bob!
ReplyDeletePoor Melanoma...first her, um,...book(?), then the "documentary," then her Epstein foible, and now grousing because someone joked about the advanced age gap between her and Cankles.
ReplyDeleteWe have not celebrated the death of anyone in their cult. But it's coming....
SCOTUS (well, the stacked conservative majority) is dragging this country back into the 1950s. I think the nice lady warned everybody about it and people thought only about her emails.
ReplyDeleteThe absolute irony of the king of England reminding Americans what democracy is! Gobsmacking.
Funny thing is that I never used to watch Kimmel. Now I do.
XOXO
What I can't understand is why the Repugnants are so keen to eulogise everything Donald Duck says or does, from having his ugly mug put on US passports to claiming he is fit enough to be an astronaut, not forgetting that he doesn't have a STEM subjects masters degree, something as ephemeral as Mrs Duck's non-existent architecture degree. As for the ever expanding ballroom, which will soon cover the whole of DC at the current rate of expansion, not to mention the Arc de Trump, surely the madness of King Don will bring the Repugnants to their senses?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Melanie. Talk about coming full circle, and having the king of England having to remind America what it's about. Now that's sad. The King Charles I will admit gave some very backhanded, but eloquently put bullet points to his address in Congress. I thought I did really good.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Voting Rights Act really scares me. It makes you wonder if a couple of years how many people will be eligible to vote. Eventually if people don't vote in so many elections I could see them stripping your right all together. This country is getting very dangerous and unrecognizable and I don't like it.
White conservatives in the country are desperate because they are a constantly shrinking minority. This attempt by them will fail. The numbers are going against them. Rick Wilson is great, I follow him on Social Media. He uses truth like a hammer.
