Bobservations

The other night as we watched the news there were reports that The Felon wants these large retailers to “eat the tariffs,” meaning earn less in profits because that’s good business. I ranted; I raged; and then I did a glorious spit-take when Carlos said:

“Eat the carrots? What does that even mean?”

Goddess, that man slays.

Sidenote: this is what will happen, a retailer imports, say, a doll. The doll costs them $5 but they mark it up to $10 for a nice profit; tariffs enter the picture and now the doll will cost the retailer $20 or more, so they mark it up to $30 to make their profit.

Then, when tariffs end and the doll goes back to costing $5 the retailer will lower the price of the doll to $20 and tell us how they are saving us money while making a larger profit.

Eat the rich.

This Tuxedo Says is from October 22, 2020, and is as relevant today as it was then … so cast a  goddamned vote … don’t piss off The Great Tuxedo.

I never go to Homo Depot anymore because of their anti-DEI stance; they aren’t loud about it, but they … shhhhhhhh … quietly erased DEI from their website.

But for this orange I may have to make an exception.

Adriana Smith is a pregnant Georgia woman who was declared brain dead in February but is being kept alive because of that state’s law banning abortion and the woman’s family has zero say in the matter.

This isn’t life, this is state-sanctioned torture.

Police in Slovenia are investigating the disappearance of a bronze statue of First Lady, and nude model, Melanie after the statue was sawed off at the feet and carted away.

The original statue was carved from the trunk of a linden tree but was mysteriously torched and replaced by a replica bronze statue that is now nothing more than shoes and ankles.

Sorry, not sorry.

Consuelo has always been the quiet, shy cat. When she first came to Casa Bob y Carlos over 14 years ago, she was the sweetie and while Tuxedo ran the house with MaxGoldberg as his Lieutenant Consuelo did as she was told.

But now that Max and Tuxedo have ‘left the building,’ Consuelo had decided that maybe she should be running things and so every morning she claws her way up the side of the bed to sit between her two sleeping Daddies and if one of us makes a sound …

Meow … Meow … Meow … Meow … which loosely translates as ‘Get up bitches and feed me.’

Don’t let the sweet face fool you, she’s a terrorist!

Now, the mainstream media, and I’m looking at you Jake Tapper and your new ‘book.’ We all know that Joe Biden is very ill while still active and jovial, but can you just shut the f**k up about his momentary lapses is speech that he made last year or the years before that and focus on that narcissistic gelatinous blob of orange flesh who thinks that … and these are all true … Mattel is a country … thinks he invented the word ‘equalizing’ … wants to annex Canada and Greenland … doesn’t know what he’s signing or what’s going on, … doesn’t care about disaster victims … and has no respect for the rule of law.

Could you do that? Could you please find your balls and your spines and do some legitimate reporting on facts??

After The Felon defunded PBS and basically canceled Sesame Street, Netflix announced it would be airing new episodes of the beloved show.

Perhaps when The Felon is finished with his McD’s Kid’s meal, and before he is put down for his nap, he might watch the show and learn something. Or is that asking for too much?

Ponder this ... in America in 2025, if you are caught protesting for Palestine, the government will say you are supporting Hamas but if you are the so-called president you can be gifted a $400,000,000 jet from a country that actually does financially support Hamas the GOP won’t say a word.

Chand Smith is a thirty-five-year-old model and actor from Stockholm, Sweden so the obvious question is … Would You Hit It?

I Didn't Say It ...

Jesse Watters, Fox moron, who never met an issue he could turn into an illiterate word salad:

“Call me ‘white dude,’ call me ‘weird,; but I’m into this. So, I signed up for the Zoom and I thought it was going to be great because they’ve been calling me toxic for quite some time and I thought maybe we were going to get over that and they were going to talk about wages and security. But no, this was a struggle session for pale, hairy, flabby California artists, and it was basically saying, if you want to be accepted by women, you should vote for a woman. Now, I don’t see why any man would vote Democrat. It’s not the party of virtue, security, it’s not the party of strength. It’s definitely not the party of family. And to be a man and then vote for a woman just because she’s a woman is either childish, that person has mommy issues, or they’re just trying to be accepted by other women. And I heard the scientists say the other day that when a man votes for a woman, he actually transitions into a woman.”

'I heard the scientists say the other day;' The Scientists?

Seriously, this idiocy passes for intelligence on Fox. Intelligence on Fox? I kid.

Jake Tapper, CNN anchor, facing new blowback for not calling out The Felon’s lies during the debate, trying to recover:

“[January 6th was] one of the most shameful days in this nation’s history. They were attempting to stop the certification of an election that President Joe Biden won fairly. Three of [The Felon]’s supporters died that day of apparent medical emergencies. One ... was fatally shot by police as she approached the floor of the House of Representatives along with a violent mob. A US Capitol police officer, Brian Sicknick, later died of his injuries withstood on that day and then four other officers who defended the Capitol that day ... took their own lives. And it all began with this lie that the election was stolen. And here we are again in 2024 with just 99 days to go until the election, listening to [The Felon] stick with these same fabricated claims that he can only lose Minnesota if Democrats cheat. No. Now look, [he] may very well win the election. He may well lose the election, but these lies, they literally have a body count.”

Maybe then, Jake, you shouldn’t have let him get away with lying during the debate.

photo

Tim McGraw, on women’s rights:

“I want to see a world where my daughters have control of every decision. Whether it be medically, personally, or the way they want to live their lives. I support a woman’s right to choose. That’s between a family, their doctor, their God, and I don’t think anybody else has any business in being a part of that.”

This is what we need; more men speaking up for women’s rights, for everyone’s rights. If you don’t stand for the rights of one of us, you don’t stand for the rights of us all.

photo

Nicky Doll, drag queen, loving the faux Christians faux outrage over the Opening Ceremonies at the Olympics:

“It was my absolute honor to perform in front of billions of people around the world, and celebrate our Olympians and remember, to the ones that had their feathers ruffled seeing queerness on their screen: WE AIN’T GOING NOWHERE. The opening ceremony did ruffle some feathers… and I LOVE it. You know why? Because the Olympics are the biggest stage in the world and us queer people have always been the audience of other people’s life and achievement and it is time that we are welcome in the space. France has always been DRAG. Get over it.”

Yes, please get over it because drag queens and gay folks aren’t going anywhere.

photo

Andy Beshear, Democrat governor of Kentucky, on The Felon and The Guyliner’s stance on abortion:

“You look at the fact that my mom, my daughter, and my wife had a constitutional right ripped and stripped from them. I think it is important that we strip [The Felon] of the chance to ever have a second term.”

It’s that simple; we stand with women or we all fall.

photo

Chelsea Handler, on JD Vance’s lunacy:

"As you may have heard, [The Felon]'s running mate and future star of his own Dateline episode, J.D. Vance, is ruffling quite a few feathers this week. Listen up, you wingnut elegy. This country is still controlled by men in systems that were set up by men that are carefully crafted to continue to benefit men. So, to put it in women-hating terms you’ll understand, you’re being hysterical. But let's be clear: There's no correlation between childless people and the presidency. For example, our very first United States president, Mr. George Washington, didn't have children. In fact, he had two stepchildren. And to your point about Kamala not being fit because she's not a ‘mother,’ I'd like to remind you that no president in the history of the United States has ever been a mother. But maybe if she had five kids with three different men, and a scandalous affair with a porn star, and was convicted felon, that would be more palatable to Republican men. My God, are we tired. You sad, diet, Mountain-Dew-drinking, couch-humping, dolphin-porn aficionado, all of us childless cat and dog ladies are gonna go from childless and crushing it to childless and crushing you in November. And before you tell me he didn’t really f**k a couch, spare me. I grew up in New Jersey in the 80s where everyone had a couch in their basement, and I know a couch f**ker when I see one.”

And the rest of us are seeing it, too!

photo

Pete Buttigieg, on that resurfaced 2021 clip in which Vance condemns “childless” Democrats:

“The really sad thing is he said that after Chasten and I had been through a fairly heartbreaking setback in our adoption journey. He couldn’t have known that, but maybe that’s why you shouldn’t be talking about other people’s children. And it’s not about his kids or my kids or the vice president’s family. It’s about your family, people’s families whose well-being will depend on whether we go into a future led by somebody like Kamala Harris, who is focused on expanding the prosperity and the freedom, the well-being of our families. Or do you want your children to grow up in a country defined by a return to the chaos and recrimination and cruelty that was the hallmark of the [The Felon] era?”

So now if you don’t have children, according to Republicans, you don’t have anything to offer.

Let that sink in.

I Didn't Say It

Hunter Biden, in a USA Today op-ed, on his struggles with addiction:

“Over four years ago, I chose life over the slow strangle-death grip of addiction, which in my case consisted each day of a bottle of vodka and as many hits on a crack pipe as possible. I am prouder of that choice and of my recovery than anything I’ve ever done. My experience is not a unique one. At least 20 million Americans today suffer from substance abuse disorder. I don’t know a family that hasn’t been impacted in some way by addiction. What is distinct about my situation is that I’m the son of the president of the United States. Someone once told me, “Getting clean is easy, all you have to do is change everything.” That is one of the most profound truths I know today. The weaponization of my addiction by partisan and craven factions represents a real threat to those desperate to get sober but are afraid of what may await them if they do.”

Luckily, most people suffering from addiction won’t get attacked by Republicans seeking a minute of fame trying to use your addiction to punish your father.

Junior, on Newsmax, last night on Newsmax. Once again playing the ‘My Daddy is a victim’ card:

“It shows you what happens when you’re in a kangaroo court, Eric. It doesn’t matter what the rules are, it doesn’t matter what the Constitution says, it doesn’t matter what general practices and business would be. It doesn’t matter. They have a narrative, they have an end goal, and they’ll do whatever it takes to get there. They want to throw [Daddy] in jail for a thousand years and/or the death penalty. Truly sick stuff, but this is why we fight.”

When Daddy is a criminal, and his little pussy bitch sons are criminals, and it looks like his daughter is ready to squeal on the whole lot, it’s a good day in America.

Oh, and Junior? No one is threatening to give Daddy the Death Penalty. Goddess, even your lies are stupid.

photo

Jake Tapper, CNN’s State of the Union host, accusing vile GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of selective outrage in her attempts to censure Palestinian American Michigan Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib citing antisemitism:

"You’re never gonna believe who the Republican offering this motion to censure Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is. I want you to take a guess. Go ahead. Take a guess. That’s right. It’s Marjorie Taylor Greene. The degree to which some folks only pretend to care about anti-Semitism when they can weaponize it never ceases to amaze. The leading Republican presidential nominee, [Thing 45]—he dined with Holocaust deniers [including Nick Fuentes]. [Thing 45] posted a screed accusing liberal Jews of 'voting to destroy America and Israel' last Rosh Hashanah to nary a peep from any House Republican leaders. I mean, Greene spoke at the White supremacist conference run by Holocaust denier, racist anti-Semite Nick Fuentes, who participated in that hateful 2017 Charlottesville rally. This is the same Marjorie Taylor Greene who has pushed the great replacement theory in videos. The deranged notion that rich Jews are trying to replace White Americans and Westerners with Blacks and brown Muslims. Not to mention, of course, her Jewish space laser conspiracy that a consortium including, yes, wealthy Jews, were using lasers on satellites to start forest fires. Antisemitism is not a cudgel to be used against people for political points. Nor is Islamophobia or racism, or anti-gay behavior or misogyny or any other kind of bigotry. This sh*t is not a game."

Large Marge Greene is the most vile, ill-informed, hypocritical, traitorous insurrectionist in a party filled with that kind of scum.

photo

Jared Kushner, on Fox, showing himself to be a lying propagandist on the Saudi payroll:

“One of the ironies is that as an American Jew, you’re safer in Saudi Arabia right now than you are at a college campus like Columbia University. I spoke at the conference. They allowed me to speak freely, and what I sensed there was that there is obviously a very big discussion of what would happen with the tremendous terrorist attack perpetrated by Hamas. The people of Saudi Arabia have a lot of care for the Palestinian civilians, and so they would like to see Israel accomplish the mission, to make sure Hamas could be eliminated. They’re against terrorism in the region in general, and quite frankly, there’s a lot of enthusiasm to continue the trajectory that was set under the [Thing 45] administration.”

Any guesses on the 200,000,000,000 reasons Jared has for siding with Saudi Arabia right now?

photo

Mike Johnson, newly elected House Speaker, who worked as the Ark Encounter’s lawyer, and found them millions in tax breaks:

“The Ark Encounter is one way to bring people to this recognition of the truth, that what we read in the Bible are actual historical events. Kentucky officials are smart to enthusiastically embrace the Ark Encounter, and the millions of tourists the park will welcome to the area from every viewpoint, race, color, religion and creed. Answers In Genesis aims to encourage critical thought and respectful public debate about the various attractions and ideas that will be presented at its park, and that is the beauty and essence of free speech.”

The Ark Encounter displays exhibits claiming that God created the earth no more than 6000 years ago and the humans and dinosaurs lived alongside each other … the Flintstones was real, y’all.

Mike Johnson is a columnist for the Ark Encounter’s website and regularly appears at its events.

It’s a yabba dabba doo time for loons like Johnson.

photo

Bruce Springsteen, on the big difference between Democrats and Republicans:

“When you see the Democratic side of the House filled with brown people and Black people, straight people and gay people, and then you look at Republicans, who appears unchanged by history at this moment? They look ridiculous. And despite their current power they look like a failing party.”

When all you’ve got going for you is revenge and lie and a demented ex-president, you have no power. You’re a joke, and a cult.

I Didn't Say It

Cindy McCain, speaking to CNN about Arizona’s GQP-led recount of an election that has already been called:

“Listen, this whole thing is ludicrous, quite frankly. It’s ludicrous. And this also comes from a state party in Arizona that refused to be audited themselves on votes that were cast within their own party communications. The election is over. Biden won. I know many of them don’t like the outcome, but, you know, elections have consequences. “And so this does not surprise me, you know, that things are just aloof and crazy out there right now with regards to the election.”

Cindy is a lady and ‘ludicrous’ is a polite way of saying ‘fucked up mess’.

I am not a lady, so this business in Arizona, where they are now looking for bamboo threads in the ballots because that proves they came from China, is a ‘fucked up mess.’

photo

Josh Hawley, GQP insurrectionist and lying traitor, saying it’s a “slur” to lump in those patriots with those other patriots who ransacked the Capitol:

“That was as I was entering the House chamber the morning of the 6th. Those were demonstrators who were out there on the plaza, on the far end of the plaza standing behind barricades, waving American flags. Some of them were calling, so I gestured toward them [He held a fist in the air]. They had every right to be there. When I walked by that particular group of folks were standing there peacefully behind police barricades. I don’t know which of those protesters if any of them participated in the criminal riot.”

When you raise a fist to insurrectionists, you are condoning insurrection.

Josh Hawley is a traitor to this country. And he has blood on his hands.

photo

Rick Santorum, on CNN, proving just how racist and ignorant Republicans are:

"We birthed a nation from nothing. I mean, there was nothing here. I mean, yes we have Native Americans but candidly there isn't much Native American culture in American culture.”

Racist, homophobic, ignorant fuck.

photo

Newt Gingrich, on Fox News, speaking the GQP anti-LGBTQ+ card:

“Every idiotic thing that the Biden administration has done in the first 100 days, you begin to realize—whether it’s threatening everybody who believes in the Second Amendment or it’s attacking everybody who believes in right to life or it is attacking people of traditional values who are appalled that this administration would fly the gay flag at American embassies all over the world. I mean, you just go down item by item and it’s almost like they have a checklist of ‘What can we do that will really, truly, infuriate traditional Americans?’ And I’ve never seen anything like it. I couldn’t imagine any administration which had been this deliberately anti-American and it’s deliberately committed to infuriating the majority of the American people.”

Newt Gingrich talking about an "assault on traditional" values is the height of hypocrisy.

This is the same Newt Gingrich who cheated on his first wife while she was fighting cancer, and then told her he was divorcing her so he could marry his mistress while she was in the hospital.

This is the same Newt Gingrich who then cheated on his second wife with a devout Catholic woman whom he would then leave his second wife for, making his devout Catholic mistress his third wife.

I guess those are RepubliQAnon family values.

photo

John Kennedy, GQP loon, ranting on the Fox News show Outnumbered about President Biden:

“What President Biden has done is immeasurably reckless and foolish. He’s gone full wokerista. He has joined those people who believe that America was wicked in its origins and that the American people are even more wicked today, that we have millions of Americans who are racist and misogynistic and ignorant, especially if they didn’t vote for him. And the wokeristas, who Mr. Biden has joined, have contempt for America. They should have gratitude. And I am very, very disappointed in President Biden. I knew he would be left of center. I didn’t know he would be left of Lenin. He knows better. He knows better.”

Um, loon? May I call you loon? One look at the Republican party, with your Confederate flag-waving, racist epithet spewing, Black Lives Don’t Matter toothless cousin-fuckers should tell you that America has tens of millions of racist, misogynistic, ignorant fools.

Look in a mirror, bitch.

photo

Jake Tapper, on the GQP’s continuing lies about The Big Lie, and how he won’t have them on his show:

“The lie about the election on its own is anti-democracy, and it is sowing seeds of ignorance in the populous, and obviously has the potential to incite violence. But beyond that is, if you’re willing to lie about that, what are you not willing to lie about? And that’s where we are when it comes to the House Republican leadership, McCarthy and Scalise, and where we are with too many leaders of the Republican party. They’re not willing to tell their voters the truth. What does that say about them? If they’re willing to lie about Joe Biden wanting to steal your hamburgers, and QAnon and the Big Lie about the election, what are they not willing to lie about? Why should I put any of them on TV?”

They’ve done nothing for healthcare but have whined ad nauseum about Dr. Seuss.

No plan for infrastructure but lied about Biden outlawing red meat.

They’ve denied COVID, denied the vaccine, and but swear the government is buying Kamala Harris’ book to give to migrant children.

They still say the twice-impeached, one-term loser won an election which he did not.

Why bother speaking to liars?

Dick of the Week: Ted Cruz

Capitol insurrection inciter, Harvard Law School Graduate, GOP Texas Senator,  Ted Cruz waited about thirty seconds after the inauguration to slam President Biden in a Tweet for signing an executive order committing the United States to the Paris Climate Accord:

“By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.”

Now, most people with a brain—something lacking in Cruz—realize that the Parid Climate Agreement has as much to do with the citizens of Paris as of anywhere else in the world, and is only called the Paris accord because that’s where it was signed.

And Democrat Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who never shies away from correcting the incorrect, quickly schooled Teddy:

“Nice tweet Sen. Cruz! Quick question: do you also believe the Geneva Convention was about the views of the citizens of Geneva? Asking for everyone who believes US Senators should be competent and not undermine our elections to incite insurrection against the United States.”

And then CNN’s Jake Tapper pointed out Cruz’s hypocrisy in suddenly caring about Pittsburgh’s citizens after spending the last few months trying to disenfranchise Pennsylvania’s voters:

“After voting to disenfranchise the entire commonwealth of Pennsylvania based on lies and conspiracy theories, Cruz expresses concern for the citizens of Pittsburgh.”

Cruz has since remained quiet, which is a good thing.
