I Didn't Say It ... But First, An Issue ...

I seem to be unable to reply to comments left on my blog, so rest assured I am reading them but for some reason cannot comment.
I will try to see how to resolve this kerfuffle ASAP.
Thanks
Bob

Zohran Mamdani, Democrat mayor of New York City, on ICE:

“I am in support of abolishing ICE and I’ll tell you why. What we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist. We’re seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law but instead what it’s doing is terrorizing people — no matter their immigration status, no matter the facts of the law, no matter the facts of the case. And I’m tired of waking up every day and seeing a new image of someone being dragged out of a car, dragged out of their home, dragged out of their life. There is a way to care about immigration in this city and in this country with a sense of humanity. What we’re seeing from ICE is not it, and we have not seen that from them in a long, long time.”

ICE  was supposed to removed undocumented immigrant criminals; not children, not citizens, not murder women in the streets.

ICE must go and by voting Blue it can be dismantled from the Kristi Noem ICEstapo.

Billie Eilish, singer, denouncing ICE and the Cankles Regime in a recent speech accepting the 2026 MLK Jr. Beloved Community Environmental Justice Award:

“It’s very strange to be celebrated for working towards environmental justice at a time where it feels less achievable than ever, given the state of our country and the world right now. We're seeing our neighbors being kidnapped, peaceful protesters being assaulted and murdered, our civil rights being stripped, resources to fight the climate crisis being cut for fossil fuels and animal agriculture destroying our planet, and people's access to food and healthcare becoming a privilege for the wealthy instead of a new basic human right for all Americans. It is very clear that protecting our planet and our communities is not a priority for this administration and it's really hard to celebrate that when we no longer feel safe in our homes or in our streets."

It’s not just Venezuela or Minneapolis or Greenland, it’s all of it; the lies, the cheating, the crimes, the pure evil greed.

Let’s start cleaning House and Senate in November.

Ruben Gallego, Democrat Senator from Arizona, on Cankles and Greenland:

“The idea that we’re going to ruin our long-standing alliances and waste billions of dollars to buy Greenland while our own people can’t afford health care or groceries is maybe the dumbest thing a president has done in the history of this country.”

It’s one of the many dumbest things this president has ever done.

Bernice King, MLK’s daughter, on Cankles’ presidency:

“The recent claim by [Cankles] that the 1964 Civil Rights Act harmed white Americans is just wrong and it's dangerous. It rewrites history in a way that fuels fear and resentment. My fathers and so many leaders of the movement, Fred Shuttlesworth, Diane Nass, John Lewis—I can call the role but I won't do it today—did not risk their lives to divide this nation. They did so because America was denying millions basic rights, the right to work, the right to vote, to live where they please, to move through society with dignity. The Civil Rights Act did not give Black people special treatment. It made discrimination illegal. The same discrimination you're trying to turn around. It required the law to protect everyone equally. That is democracy. Sadly, under [Cankles’] America, the law only protects rich white men. We’ve been forced to watch in horror as he rolls back all the progress we’ve made as a nation, stoking the flames of racial hatred and dragging us to the dark ages again.”

This is not America where our elected officials are blatantly KKK racists; they don’t even bother with the hoods any longer.

This cannot stand; this is not the America I learned about—though we know America is not now and never was perfect—and not the America Dr. King dreamed about.

Don Lemon, on has been MAGAt rapper Nicki Minaj after she called him a homophobic slur over his reports on ICE protests in Minneapolis:

“This is clearly out of her depth. She doesn’t understand politics. She doesn’t understand journalism. And I’m not surprised that she is weighing in on something that is beyond her capacity. I think she put the Chucky doll in [her post]. A better symbol that should have been represented in that picture is a ‘Pick Me’ doll because Nicki Minaj is a pick me. She will do anything that is expedient for her politically. And again, she’s ignorant. She doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She’s always weighing in on things that she doesn’t know about. Nicki Minaj should just sit the fuck down.”

Minaj is out for anyone that can solve her husband’s criminality issues which is why she aligned with Erika Grieving Widow Kirk and praise Cankles. She bought into the cult of stupidity and will never find her way out.

  2. I love how Don Lemon dragged that heifer.
She should talk. With a p*dophile in her family, married to a sex offender and being basically illegally in the US she should take several seats.
    Zohran!!! Ruben!!
    Love Billie.

    XOXO

  3. Every one of them is correct. Watching the clown show that was the Jack Smith hearing yesterday just solidifies that the Republikkans are solidly in on it all. And it's fucking heartbreaking.

  4. I'm having the same problem with comments. One of this administration's many big mistakes was believing they could send ICE to do whatever they wanted and that the American people would simply clutch their pearls. But then Trump, himself, is as dumb as a brick, and this should have been expected.

  5. It is refreshing to see words of wisdom, especially after that ridiculous spectacle that is IQ45 in Davos. November cannot come soon enough. Though I understand there is fear that he will somehow be able to rig the elections.

  6. It is always good to read quotes from people that actually make sense.

  7. We, on this side of the pond, still love y'all. It's just the maggots and the Poisonous Orange Blob that we dislike. The POB saying that our military did not die on the frontline in Afghanistan, when called upon to support the US there, has lost him a lot of support here from the right wing, who usually support him.

  9. I agree with many of these commenters ice needs to be abolished immediately. All they are is a bunch of want to be Cops that weren't up to Snuff. And I may add they're just a bunch of bigots with an ax to grind.
