Bobsverations

Carlos and I watched the return of Kimmel to the airwaves on Tuesday night and he killed his monologue, making it funny and emotional and heartfelt and defiant. We stayed watching after the monologue when he had actor Glen Powell on and Carlos’ utter lack of Pop Culture knowledge first had him asking if Powell was a football player.

“No, he’s an actor.”

“But he’s related to Colin Powell?”

“You think he’s related to Colin Powell because they have the same last name?”

“Maybe.”

“Well, by your logic then you’re related to Kamala Harris.”

“aaaaaaah, Cousin Kamala.”

Seriously; he’s lucky I didn’t have my cartoon frying pan!

This Tuxedo Says is from April 2021:

What? Y’all know Tuxedo has the Common Sense. It’s a shame the two-legged inhabitants of the planet don’t always follow his lead.

Just a note to Erika Kirk, if you feel the need to have merch tables at your husband’s memorial, you are a grifting piece of sh*t.

That’s all.

There are people who cannot start their day without a cup of coffee and other people that also need cakes to get motivated.

A little lesson in facts for the dumbasses trying to handle healthcare in this country: Autism was first discovered in 1911 but Tylenol wasn’t invented until 1950.

Release the Epstein files.

Here's a photo of Good Christian and Minister of Government Lies, KaroLying Leavitt, who demands people treat her racist rapist con man boss with respect, ignoring protocol while in England with Cankles and wearing an off-the-shoulder, off-the-rack, bargain bin, Casual Corner cheap flimsy piece of cloth to a royal dinner and decided it was good to allow her nipples some exposure.

The headlights were on but no one's driving.

While honoring Chris Wallace at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony Arnold Schwarzenegger tried making a about ex-wife Maria Shriver, saying:

“I know a lot about journalists. I’ve been interviewed—you can imagine, in my lifetime—by thousands and thousands of journalists, but not only that, I was also married to a journalist. [And] the only difference between Chris and Maria is that Chris has never taken half my money.”

Arnold forgot to mention that his wife took half his money because [A] California is a community property state and [2] She found out after nearly 25 years of marriage that her husband had been schtupping the housekeeper and the pair had a grown son.

Oh Arnold, you should have kept your mouth and your pants zipped.

Billionaire philanthropist MacKenzie Scott donated $70 million to the UNCF, as the nation’s largest private provider of scholarships to minority students works to raise $1 billion to strengthen all 37 of its Historically Black Colleges and Universities [HBCuS].

The gift is one of Scott’s largest single donations ever and among the first to be publicly disclosed in 2025. Famously private, Scott only discusses her donations through her website and does not confirm them until after the recipients do.

Be a MacKenzie and not a Bezos.

Andrew Burnap is an American actor known for his stage performances in the Public Theatre's revivals of King Lear in 2014 and Troilus and Cressida in 2016. He won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role as Toby Darling in The Inheritance so … Would You Hit It?

  1. "“Well, by your logic then you’re related to Kamala Harris.” And then you wonder why this is everyone favorite part of this feature.

My morning most days starts with coffee and cake, and some mornings coffecake. And he has fine cakes!

MacKenzie Scott, A true classy and caring woman. She shows how to do it.

And the UK visit. Doesn't surprise me as they are all a hot mess with no decorum, or educate themselves about what the protocol should have been, on what to wear and how to approach. I'm surprised they weren't running around taking selfies and getting autograph books signed! And you just KNOW, once they were gone and the royals were back in their private quarters, they got some good snarky laughs over that visit!!!!!!

  2. Re Ms Scott's generosity, I heard Mr Gates made a substantial to something worthy, but I forget what it was.
Ms Leavitt looks like a tart.

  3. Someone should tell the dear leader, that is is better to remain silent and have them wonder if you are a fool, than to speak up and confirm it.

  4. KKKlassless KKKaroline. But the entire administration lacks class, not to mention brains. You know, Charlie certainly wants to never have to do that again.
Chris Wallace got a star on the H. Walk of Fame? The man is an embarrassment - all those years of faux journalism on Faux News. I'm positive his daddy wanted to rise up and slap him!!!

  5. Cake and coffee? Sure, if you like ground and round. Remember that in Leavitt's world, nipples are a rung on the ladder to success. Burnap's a ginger... which makes your question moot.

  6. As your official proofreader, I suspect that you have omitted the word "joke" Bob... "making a about ex-wife Maria Shriver". Please amend before MAGA grammar squads pounce upon your error. By the way, I am still waiting for my first payment.

  7. As I have read elsewhere, Tylenol was invented in 1955. It is my OTC of choice!

  8. I thoroughly enjoyed this week's edition of the Tales of Carlos. And congrats on your new family. Looking forward to the photos at the next reunion. Yes, be a MacKenzie and not a Bezos. Or an Erika.

  9. I suspect Kirk is rolling in his grave (or wherever he is currently) as Erika is now no longer the submissive and trad wife he required, having taken over leadership of his organization.
Leavitt proves that money doesn't buy class. Besides raised eyebrows I'll bet there was some "tittering" in the crowd.
The last meme is totally accurate though I believe others suggested he is "stark raving mad".

  10. Carlos scored with “aaaaaaah, Cousin Kamala”, LOL. I'm beginning to think he's playing you, knows exactly what he's doing.

  12. Carlos is related to Kamala Harris?!? That is so cool! I would be so happy if those cakes were waiting for me in the kitchen tomorrow. I’d even skip the coffee.

  13. Yay! Cakes!

I'm impressed by how understated Mackenzie Scott is about her donations.

🙀 Ya know, Tuxedo, Kim Potter was just one in a long line of officers who suffered from "taser confusion (TC)." At least she had the modicum of humanity to have immediate remorse. When she got out of prison (one of only 3 convicted in 15 cases of TC in the last decade), she started teaching officers how to be better at avoiding the horrible thing she did. 👍
In 2016, Robert Bates, a 74 y.o. VOLUNTEER sheriff deputy in Tulsa, was sentenced to 4 years after a TC incident. His immediate response was "oh shit I shot him!" The big problem here was this old fart was giving huge donations to the sheriff so he was allowed to have a taser and a service weapon with little or no training. He paid for the privilege to shoot people! Two weeks before the fatal shooting, Bates had tased a handcuffed man, and then shouted "let's give him another!" Bates had to be restrained by a REAL officer! 👎
😻 On the other hand, Tuxedo Rocks!! 😹🤘

  15. Don't worry, KKKaroline's trashy hooker look will soon be replaced with the blue dress that all Kommanders' wives will have to wear.

  16. I watched the monologue the next day on youtube. I agree that Kimmel did a great job. He showed humor and grace. When I first saw her dress when that photo was published, I immediately noticed her nipples! I wonder why she wasn’t wearing her great big Christian cross?

  17. Yes please to coffee and a little bit of cake - a very agreeable way to start the day.
