Whoopi Goldberg, The View co-host, Vivek Ramaswamy's disgusting
attack ad against Amy Acton in the Ohio gubernatorial race:
“For every woman that lives in this state, he is telling you
what he thinks of you. He is telling you, he's making it clear. And all those
folks that are backing this ad up, this is why, because they think it's
persuasive. Well, they know that they can say something a million times and
people may start to believe it. But what they don't realize is that you, you
stepped across a line, you stepped across the line. Again, you can talk about
policy, you can talk about my clothing, you can talk about bad breath if you
want to,” she continued. But you don't get to go into my life, pull up my
personal stuff, not stuff that has anything to do with the people I'm going to
be serving, but my personal history, trauma, and pain, and use it like a
carnival attraction. I think that all those women who are looking at this and
all these women who are saying, wow, if that's what you do to her because
you're losing, what do you want to do to us? It should be disqualifying. It
should be disqualifying. It is disqualifying because I cannot think of anything
worse than weaponizing the trauma of a nine-year-old child who was getting
abused by her mother's husband. Remember the Epstein files. This tells you
everything. The fact that he feels free enough to do this is because he feels
nothing's going to happen. Nobody's going to call him out on it, and sometimes
nothing does. But I have a funny feeling that if this is what you think is
going to get you elected, you may be wrong, but I've been wrong before, but I
think you may be wrong.”
Indeed, while morally corrupt J Dufus Vance declared his
support for Ramaswamy’s offensive ad, other Republicans, including incumbent
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, have called for the removal of the ad, though DeWine
didn’t withdraw his endorsement of Ramaswamy to be his replacement GOPig.
And that’s why it’s so important for every Ohio Democrat and
every Independent or Republican sick of the corruption and chaos of the Regime to
vote for Amy Acton and leave Ramaswamy in the dustbin of history.

The Repugs here can be spotted by their Pritzker Sucks yard signs. They don’t like him. I have a Pritzker Rocks sticker. He has no qualms politely calling Cankles a swine.
ReplyDeleteBarack got under Cankles’ skin. Of course he did. Now the MAGAts are pretending the fucking Cheesecake Factory is a symbol of the working class. And don’t even mention Saddam. Hypocrites.
XOXO
Complete and 100% Truth Telling in today's selection of quotations. Thanks, Bob!
ReplyDeleteI always like hearing from decent people and Barack Obama is the best of those here today.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Andrew Hamilton, Whoopi Goldberg and your other guests. Life is too short to spend your time hating people.
ReplyDeleteAnother complaint that's now hitting Ramaswamy is that his team found Amy Acton's mother, cleaned this 80 year old woman up for the commercial, then put her back on the street.
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes as always. I love how blunt El-Sayed is. And the two Adams are right, though I've never heard anyone else use the phrase "I say this with my whole chest"! (I guess he's saying more than just the heart, in other words, but it sounds weird.)
ReplyDeleteI have watched and listened to President Obama speaking at a couple of rallies this week. Such dignity, such intelligence, such respect for his audience, such lucidity. The contrast with The Fake President's sweaty blathering and his on-stage senile "weaves" could not be more marked.
ReplyDeleteI do believe that Vivek Ramaswamy's is in my top 10 most hated list. He is one of the most annoying smudge bastards. I would love to just slap the shit out of him!
ReplyDeleteIts still hard to believe a minority of bigoted, evil conservative people of have ruined the country for the majority.
It doesn't improve . . .
ReplyDeleteAll true and no more pulling punches.
