The Pride Parade Committee in my small city got permission to paint a large crosswalk on the new parade route like a basic rainbow flag. Almost immediately it was badly vandalized, but a local paint store stepped up and donated all the paint needed to redo the crosswalk like the pride flag in your first photo. It was bigger and better than the first one and 4000 people turned out for the parade! Allies are everywhere, so Happy Pride Month to you and your blog readers, Bob!
That right how Pride started!!! It didn't start by our community being quiet and doing what they were told to do and how to act. We aren't going anywhere.... you're with us or you're not! Your acceptance is neither required nor desired. We will STILL be who we are!!!!
