If anything, it will show opposite-sex couples that the same thing can happen to them. Although they can get married, and have the federal government recognize their relationship.
One day America will wake up. I just hope I see it in my lifetime.

Poignant. And it isn't fair, but then our government doesn't deal in fair. Which says much about us, doesn't it.
